They missed their first appointment and never called. I had to call to reschedule. I told them I needed the outdoor hose spigot changed and the shower knob. These are BASIC parts they should have on their truck, I was told when making tht appointment. When the Technician got to my home, late, there was no apology. He immediately told me he would have to go get parts. When they called to tell me he was going somewhere else I tried to cancel the job. The owner, "Angie," told me not to worry that she would work with me. She said I was being "irrational." When the guy finally got back he changed out the parts in minutes. He then demanded $400.00 for two hours work and $60.00 in parts. When I asked for the receipt for the parts he refused. I don't know if it was because he had tripped the price of the parts when I checked on line at Home Depot where he claimed he baught them, or if he had them on his truck the whole time. When I tried to call "Angie" she was no longer available and the Technician was threatening me and screaming in my face. This was once a good company that helped people through the SAWS water Co. after the snow storm Uri in 2021. I was told when I called back that those guys weren't there anymore. No kidding? I wish they had told me that before they sent out this guy that needs some customer service skills and Anger Management!

After 2 other visits from other plumbing companies, we found that we still had a huge leak that flooded my back yard after leaks were fixed after the Texas freeze. JR's plumbing came in and fixed what needed fixing even replaces my shower head... they checked for other leaks and made sure all was well. They were very friendly and professional. Richardo and Freddy were awesome.. They did the job quick and explained the situation. Thank you for the work done and the professionalism. Thank you again you all were awesome

On February 16th, during the winter storm that Texas endured, I had a burst pipe and started calling plumbers. The first to respond was J.R.'s Plumbing. The pipe in question was in an outside laundry room and was exposed, not inside a wall. The water had already been shut off at the main cutoff, so no water was coming out of it. The pipe is copper and had been patched before with a length of plastic pvc that was approximately 6" long. It was this patch that had split and was leaking. So the cuts to the copper pipe were already made, all that needed to be done was remove the damaged portion of the pvc pipe and replace it. A couple of people showed up and looked at my pipe. I was immediately quoted a price of $800. In the previous repair to replace the damaged portion of the copper pipe and replace it with plastic pvc, I paid $250. I believe that J.R.s Plumbing took advantage of the weather and the situation to engage in price gouging. I paid $125 for the service visit and told the two plumbers to leave. My husband fixed the pipe himself for $30.

It went great! They came on time and stayed till the job was totally finished. They did not rush through the job but took adequate time and total responsibility to do a good job and repair my pipes so that I would be totally satisfied. They were very concerned with their performance and respected my property to minimize any damage. I am very happy and satisfied with their work and would be glad to have these men (Eric & Andrew) come back to do any plumbing repairs when needed. It went very well overall. We had a very strange clogged plumbing issue in our master bath that took two visits to finally solve. Sometimes the toilet would flush, sometimes it wouldn't. Gurgling sounds in the toilet, water backing up in the shower etc. Julio and team showed up in the scheduled 2 hour window that they said they would and called when they were 30 minutes out from arriving. Very professional, considerate of our floors and carpets, and took the time to fully explain the problem. We all tested the showers, toilets and tub and gave our thumbs up that the problem was fixed. (1 hours total to fix the issue) Unfortunately, later that night and a lot of use of the tub/shower and toilet, we have some similar problems but this time largely related to the tub not draining. They returned in the time window and called before they arrived. Superb again. Professional and considerate. They pulled a lot of embarrassing items out of the drain, ugh. Problem Fixed. (1 hr on site to fix) While we were disappointed that we had to call them back, when they left the first time, everything worked. That's the nature of septic lines. Very happy to say they honored the military discount too. We will be called this great team back for future plumbing problems.

There service as great. They arrived within 45 minutes of the call. They were very professional and friendly. They cleaned two drains just to make sure they were clear and their price was very competitive.

This was work done on a house owned by my boss and his wife. The work was done efficiently. They were professional.

Replaced PVC pipe for me. Very quick, nice and the price was reasonable.

First off Troy was very helpful, and patient with me over the phone. He then did a great job, and I will use and refer them in the future!!!

Phase 1 - This project (cap off leaking water line) went well except that the cutting of the sheetrock to access the water line was done in a sloppy manner. They first cut into the wrong area even though the right location was easy to locate by looking under the sink. Also, when cutting the sheetrock, they strayed from the sheetrock leaving cuts in the wood trim work. Phase 2 - Run a replacement line to the refrigerator. After assessing the job to run the line across the attic and down the wall, The plumbers advised that it would be extremely difficult to impossible to run a water line in the attic from the water heater over to the opposite wall and down to the refrigerator because the many roof studs and framing blocked this area. Further, dropping the line down the wall would be nearly impossible because the access was covered and blocked by cross studs. The only solution they offered was to run the line from an outside hose bib over to the exterior brick wall, then drill through the brick in order to run the line on to the refrigerator. The cost to me: $2,234.00. Later, after viewing the finished job, I was most unhappy. The job appeared to be unsightly and unprofessional, and I felt it would not withstand city code compliance and home sale inspector’s review. So I called another plumbing company for a second opinion. This plumber surveyed the full attic area from the water heater to above the refrigerator, and in a short time, found it to be a straightforward, doable plumbing job with no attic or roof studs/framing in the way. Also, he told me there was an open “down chase” existing right above the refrigerator allowing an easy drop of a water line to the refrigerator. The whole job, done correctly by this other firm, took half the time and cost far less. On June 5, I called JR’s plumbing and spoke with Nacho. I explained the situation about the job his men did, and I felt that I should get my money returned (at least a big share of it). He said he’d talk to the men who were at my house, and get back to me. On June 9 and since he did not get back to me, I tried to speak with him again. I was told he was unavailable so I left him a message to call me and again requested a refund. I felt certain that if a senior rep or his Master Plumber came to my home and viewed the situation, it would be easy to see the solution was misrepresented to me. The lead person at JR's refused to visit our home, and thereafter, would not return my calls. I then mailed a formal letter of complaint explaining the whole situation and requesting a refund as their solution was unsatisfactory and unsightly and will have to be removed. I have not received a response.

The plumbers from JR's were on time, polite, finished the job quickly, and left everything clean. We have used them before and will use them again when the need arises.

Plumbers arrived on time and figured out the extent of the problem immediately. They estimated a four to six hour job and finished in two hours, which resulted in a substantial savings to me. They worked hard and at one point, the owner of the company stopped by, introduced himself, and checked on his men. My house, which I was listing for sale is almost one hundred years old, and their work was flawless. Subsequently, a home inspector said the drain pipe from my washer was leaking and had to be replacecd. The same plumbers who saved me so much money earlier, went under the house and figured out the problem, which was a misplaced hose; they put the hose back where it belonged and all I paid was the service call charge. Honesty and integrity are in short supply in the world today, but I have found no lack of them with JR Plumbing. They have done other work for me to include installing a new water heater and cleaning lines and their work has always been first rate.

It went perfect. They took out bad water heater -installed new one and disposed of old one.

We were not satisfied with the overall performance in that even though we purchase expensive faucets the plumbers were not familiar with the product and how to install it. Having to come back twice to fix the original installation and my having to purchase another faucet due to what in our opinion was there mistake was not something we expected to do, thank god the supplier was cooperative and took back the now defected part. We would not hire this company again.

The price was great, customer service was great, but the plumbing repair they did had to be redone a few days later by another plumber. I did not want to bother them with fixing the wrong because they did not perform to a high standard, and I do not want to deal with a company that doesn't want to do good work.

They were fast,professional and got the job done.

The plumber arrived on time around 3:00 and replaced everything but the and quot;seatand quot; for the flapper and the overflow standpipe. Then he discovered that it still leaked (testing with colored tablet) into the bowl. He did not have the required part on his truck to install a new flapper and quot;seatand quot; onto. Apparently previous owners had put another seat on top of the old seat and it was leaking between them. A Home Depot was nearby and we opted for him to get it there rather than come back another day with the part. His office was closed since it was already 5:00 p.m. Because he had to remove the tank from the bowl, he was able to install a new standpipe also. He spent 2 1/2 hours and around $60 in parts. for a total of about $329 with the senior citizen discount of $10. All in all, we probably could have installed a new toilet for the amount charged, but understand that he did not realize that the leak was at the flapper seat.

The plumbers showed up on time and went right to work. They did a really good job and worked steadily to complete the job in one day. The work areas I'm sure were messy but when the job was finished the two baths were clean and free of debris. A big shout-out to Chris and Henry for their politeness, professionalism and commitment to doing good work!! I had mistakenly left out a fixture part that was necessary to complete the job. I could not drive to pick up the part because I had recently had surgery so Chris and Henry agreed to go and pick up the part and finish the job for me that day. I will definitely use J.R.s again for my plumbing needs .

They are always professional. They don't waste any time and they know what they are doing. They have always gotten the job done for me.

High water bill, no visible leak other than grass a little greener in one area. JR's people came out same day as call to check it out. Back the next morning to explain the gameplan and get it done. required digging new trench to replace supply line. Orig line went under the driveway so this way was quicker and cheaper for me. Done in same day. Extremely courteous, Couldnt ask for better.

They were prompt, very professional, and very courteous. They worked in an efficient manner and fixed the leak.
