JOSROD Roofing is owned by Jose Rodriguez and was recommended to me by a neighbor. I can tell you that I have never worked with a contractor who was so prompt and courteous - and a supremely honorable man. He personally worked with my wife and me to choose a roofing shingle and promptly provided a quote that was very fair (taking into account the other quotes we received and other quotes in the neighborhood). He and his crew showed up when they promised and Jose was on-the-job during the entire project. That's always comforting when the owner is there to see that the work is performed per the contract and verbal agreement. The entire project only took one day - and, as is normal, there were a few things not covered in our contract. Jose absorbed them and, so, there was no quibbling about surprise charges. I am very proud to highly recommend Jose and JOSROD Roofing to everyone. I'm sure you will not be disappointed in contracting with him.

Description of Work: Did a great job. They meet with the insurance adjuster while they were there evaluating the damage after we got damage from baseball size hail. Fantastic job replacing the roof. Hope I don't have to use them again but I do it will be JosRod Roofing.

I recently had Josrod Roofing replace the shingles on my roof and add a ridgeline vent. They did a good job and were able to finish in one day (our home is only 1,500 sq. ft.). The roof shingles and ridgeline vent look fantastic. We are very pleased with this part of the job. The only issue we had was with the roof edge rain diverters and pre-existing attic air vents. A new rain diverter was not added, two were painted brown, and the fourth was unpainted. They also did not paint the original metal attic air vents. When we brought this to the attention of the business owner (Jose), he had his workers return and make all the corrections to our satisfaction within a reasonable time. Overall, we had a good experience with Josrod Roofing. From the initial free estimate, filing the insurance claim, selecting the shingle, installation, and cleanup. If I could split the and quot;Quality ratingand quot; above, they would receive an and quot;Aand quot; for the roof shingle installation, and a and quot;Band quot; for the metal perimeter installation. There are minor alignment concerns where the metal edging overlaps. From the street, this is not noticeable. The following information is awareness for anyone having this job done, regardless of the installer. My wife and I are very picky and neat. This job is messy. The old shingles are scrapped off and a lot of them fall off the side of the roof leaving the shingle grains all over the sidewalks and a lot of nails. (Josrod did a good job with the cleanup.) The messy part of the job that I did not expect is inside the attic. We use our attic for storage. When the new shingles were nailed on, the 4x8 plywood sheets inside the 18-year old attic shredded slightly with each nail. This left a lot of wood slivers all over the attic insulation and our storage boxes. In addition, the ridgeline vent requires cutting a few inches of wood off the top peak of the 4x8 sheets. This again left shredded wood in the attic. (This is just a messy part of the job, NOT a problem with Josrod Roofing.) I did tell Jose about this, and he offered to clean it up, but I chose to clean this myself (personal preference). If you use your attic for storage, I suggest covering everything prior to anyone installing new shingles.
Description of Work: Josrod Roofing provided a free estimate for the cost of replacing my home roof shingles. We selected them to remove the old shingles, add the moisture barrier, lifetime shingles, a new ridgeline vent, replace the corner metal drains, add a metal edging to the perimeter of the roofline, paint all original attic air vents, and add a rain diverter.

I was very pleased with the work and the price. They left no mess behind when the job was completed. All in all, a pleasant experience for a job that everyone dreads having done. The roof looks good and several neighbors have used this company, so all of our houses look better.

At first I was upset because some of the tiles on the roof didn't seem like they would settle. After a few days when it warmed up they did. The good side is that my roof compared to other people who got their roof replaced in my neighborhood is that the overall job was good. What I was not impressed about was that the workers broke my outside light and bent a metal slashing above my backyard sliding door. I also have a small indenture on my roof that wasn't there before that he insist was already there. I called him a few times for the light replacement and about the back slashing because he told me he would replace it but he never came back.
