JOHNNY & SONNY'S GLASS CO

I called this co. after reading the reviews on Angie's List. I knew something had to be done to my sliding glass door but had no idea what until I had read some of the reviews. Only then did I realize that rollers have to be replaced on sliding glass doors. Anyway, I called them and the lady that answered the phone passed on my info and problem to the tech. He called and could have fixed it that same day had I heard the phone but since I missed his call, he came the next morning and fixed it in no time flat. My sliding glass door which took two hands and a lot of effort to roll back and forth can now be rolled with my pinky finger! Good grief...I had no idea! I should have had this done a long time ago! Anyway, he also tightened a loose door handle on my storm door for no charge. He also waited for me to clean parts of my sliding glass door that I wanted to clean before he put it back together. I am really glad I am a member of Angie's list or I would have never found this guy or several other companies I have used as a result of being a member. He did a great job and I am making a file of all the people I have used that have done a great job like John and his helper for future reference.

Men arrived on time, kept everything clean and removed both panes of glass. The original glass had, apparently, been glued in, so it was a little more difficult than expected. They handled it with no problem. One man working inside and the other outside. Within a little more than an hour the new glass was installed and looked great. The guys were very professional in appearance and with their actions, and did a great job. We called a few places, and my husband almost passed on this company because their price was so much lower (which often brings a red flag), but finally decided to take the chance. I'm glad we did! Will definitely call them again if I need their services and will highly recommend to anyone.

Danny and Tim arrived ten minutes before the 10:30-12:30 appointment time frame and finished within an hour. Before removing the broken outer pane, Danny explained that some of the paint on the frame might be damaged in the process. It wasn't. The two installers worked carefully and efficiently, and the tint matched all of the other windows beautifully. When the job was done they cleaned the new panes inside and out and swept up and disposed of the old glass. In addition, Tim also removed other glass that I had been sweeping up on another patio from a table top that had broken in some high winds on a previous day. That seemingly small gesture was very impressive. Before leaving, Danny answered my questions about the construction of the panes, mentioning how it has improved in the few years since my sunroom was built by reducing/eliminating moisture build-up. I need to mention that I was very pleased with the consideration by Lindsey in the office. The office staff is the first contact that clients have with the company and that contact creates that important first impression. Before I selected Johnny's and Sonny's I communicated with her initially and briefly on the phone, later by email, and finally in person. I live overseas and am not in town very long or very often and wanted to visit the shop even after the various back-and-forth emails we had for several months while I was away. She was welcoming and pleased that I had taken the time to stop in.

They removed 4 very large mirrors from my house with care and ease. I will be using them for future jobs in my house. I highly recommend their services. Thanks guys, for a job well done.

My experience with Johnny's and Sonny's was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about them. I called them three minutes before their closing time and they came out the next day and were very conscientious of my work schedule. In fact the rep was at my home 15 minutes early. They offered to work around my work schedule in order to install the glass. They came out right on time and installed the glass quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. The two gentleman at my home were very nice and professional. Based upon their professionalism and punctuality I have already recommended them to a friend.

This company was excellent - very responsive. They came out the day that I called, installed & cleaned up, all for a reasonable price. I would certainly call them again if I needed any other glass repair work done.

It took two days before they could come out which is understandable (window was cracked, but not missing). The technician was cordial toward my wife who tried to explain what had occurred. However it took over a week before the glass came in and was actually replaced. I suppose if it was broken I could have declared an emergency, but in good consciousness I could not. I suppose $128 was fair.

Arrived on time and took ou the broken window and replaced it.. Cleaned up after themselves and did this in a very short time. I would call them back if I ever needed them again

I contacted a couple of contractors for estimates, Johnny's was not the cheapest but they were the most responsive. Since the cheapest contractor was only $15 cheaper, I decided to just go with Johnny's instead of having to wait longer to get the door fixed. It was a quite routine repair and they were done quickly.

I needed to fix the windows to sell my house. I had only a couple of weeks to get it done. They arrived at the appointed time, took detailed measurements and ordered the glass. Returning in just a few days to install. All other companies I spoke with required one more visit. The first just to get the order and another for measurements. A waste of time. Another wanted me to measure. There was really no comparison in professionalism and efficiency.

I called and got an estimate over the phone. They came out the same morning but noticed our glass was tinted so they had to get a different kind of class. We went out of town and they kept in touch with us until we got back and the job could be performed. They even offered to do it while we were gone. Everybody we talked to was friendly and professional, the job was done quickly and the price was very reasonable.

I called and someone answered right away. I explained what we needed and was promptly given an estimate. The glass was ordered and the installer came and did the job within a few days. He was on time and finished the job quickly. He was courteous and professional and we paid exactly what was quoted to us.

I wanted to replace a shower door with a door that had more of a frosted appearance in the glass for privacy. I contacted them and they were out to measure the door. The new shower door was installed the next week, and it is beautiful. I recommend this company - they are fast, and have great quality.

Johnny and Sonny's glass company sent someone out for an estimate on the same day that I called. They gave me a quote for replacing two cracked windows. I scheduled an appointment for 3/14/2013. They called the day before to confirm and said someone would be out between 9-10:30 on the 14th. Danny arrived on time, worked rapidly, replaced the window panes, and cleaned up any debris. I would use their services again. They were courteous, punctual and charged me exacty per their estimate. Thank you Danny and thank you Johnny and Sonny's for the great service.

We got an estimate a few days before. They came out worked very efficiently. The windows were as good as new!

I broke my patio door glass and called Johnny & Sonny's Glass Co. after finding them on Angie's List and seeing the multiple great reviews they have received. They were awesome!!!! Fast response, helpful, professional, the cost was so much more reasonable than the other two large glass companies in San Antonio, they came when they said they would and followed through with me several times. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have already recommended them to my daughter. If you want someone who is honest, responsive, punctual and cost effective then Johnny & Sonny's is the company to go to.

Johnny and Sonny's made this project very easy. Had them first come and take measurements for the estimate. Got the estimate in no more than a day. I then ordered the screens. I was notified when the screens arrived for installation and a date was set. They crew did the install and the screens look great. We can already tell that they are working to keep the heat out of the house. Pros: Free estimate. The installation was on time and went very smoothly. Friendly and professional workers and office staff. Great price! Looks great! Cons: None

Called one night, and tech came over same night to measure and scope the situation. They were back next day at the beginning of the scheduled time slot, and done in less than 30 minutes. Great people, great service, great job!!

Fast, friendly, reasonable price

I was very pleased with Johnny & Sonny's Glass Co. They called me repeatedly to follow up (my schedule was pretty hectic, so they had to work around my hours) and they made time for me. The estimate was very reasonable and they came within a week (part had to be ordered for the shower door) and installed. The gentleman that came out was very nice and professional and gave me some helpful tips. Great experience and would definitely recommend!
