Description of Work: Our great room has 6 by 6 foot windows at both eye-level and above (2 down and 3 up). Each of the 6 by window has 2 - 3 by 6 ft glass panels. They replaced a single panel 2 of the high windows.

Description of Work: Replaced some tricky glass up in my cathedral ceiling, then installed solar screens there. Replaced glass in my 1980's sliding glass door that had begun to etch up pretty bad. Installed solar screens on 8 other windows. Terrific job---speedy, efficient, professional. And the difference in the coolness in my house is astronomical! Great experiece.

First home, they replaced window panes that were cloudy Second home replaced window panes in front of home. Total of 5 windows. Replaced mirror in main bathroom. Description of Work: I hired them to repair my window weather strips do take care of drafts coming in to the house. I was told it is called window beading. I checked Angie's List for window repairs companies as I've always had good experience with Angie's List. Since I handle all dealings wiht home repairs I feel confident with the backing of Angie's Lsit. They listed Johnny and Sons and listed them as reputable and trustworthy so I called them for the window repair. I called them and spoke with a soft spoken and accommodating person Johnny. I was told they would send someone to come and measure for an estimate. Daniel Delaskus introduced himself and showed up at my house. I did not ask for identification because his truck indicated Johnny and Sonnys, and then escorted him to where the windows needed repair. He informed me that the measurement was 55 1/2 which I thought was in feet, not pieces. He had his computation on paper but didn't give me a copy or anything in writing. Everything was verbal. He also said that in any glass broken in the window while they are working was not their responsibility on any extended breakage. I agreed. I was told that the breakage rarely happens. Daniel said he'd submit the estimate and someone would call with the actualy price for the weather strips for 4 windows and screens for 2 windows. I received a phone call from Johnny (I assumed he was the owner), and that I was dealing with a person of authority. He said it would be $250. I agreed that they could do they job. He said someone would call to schedule and start the work. A man named John called and scheduled for March 2nd at 9am. On March 2nd Daniel showed up with another guy whose name I don't remember. Both of them worked on my window. On that day I had people arriving and was in a hurry to go so I did not check the work but just paid them. Some days after, I found that there were some old strips. They were suppose to replace the strips, not just repair. When I saw the old strip on the top, which was hanging,I was concerned because I thought the agreement was to do what had not been done. I called the office and talked to Lindsay and Johnny about the problem. They said they would send Danny back. Danny called me with a bit of an attitude. I advised Lindsay that I didn't appreciate his attitude. Lindsay advised than another worker was sick and the guys had just been very busy. I still didnt' feel as a customer I deserved that treatment. So Danny called back and agreed to come back that same day and he was very nice so I was ok. He arrived and remeasured. While he was there I suggested he look at the rest of the same window and he gave me an estimate which equaled 34 more (I was unclear if that was inches, pieces, feet.) I asked if he could give me the actual measurements of what had already been done. He said no but he'd call the office. I never did get those actual numbers because they had to pull up the information. I was still puzzled about the measurement and attempted to meausre it myself but could never figure it out.

Description of Work: Had 18 upper kitchen cabinets that needed glass. They gave me estimate on Monday, measured on Tuesday, and installed by noon on Wednesday. Very professional and courteous. Price was very reasonable.
