Mr. Moore took a look at the job and explained the difficulties very well. He said that there was a minimum charge of $25 and that for this size of job if he was not able to weld the hole shut there would be no charge. He noted that because of rust on the inside of the tank there may be difficulties with trying to weld a hole shut. He also warned that once he started to weld, the hole may get larger and it may not be possible to weld the hole shut without adding a metal plate. He asked me if I still wanted him to try and I told him to do his best. We tested that tank after each attempt. After several tries he was able to weld the hole shut. His charge was $25.00 just as he had quoted.

JD is wonderful to work with. He's gone above and beyond for us to get this job done. We were in the process of buying a house but the inspector told the seller that it would not pass without railing on the outside patio. Our realtor recommended JD and we were able to get a quote - long distance with the help of our realtor. Because we had to wait for the inspectors report to get through our lender's maze of red tape (USAA's mortgage department has just been HORRIBLE to work with), we didn't know when to tell JD to start work. It was a mess but JD was kind and helpful. When we finally got the go, JD did everything he could to help us and complete our job so we could close on the house. Not only is JD easy to work with, he also does great work. The railing looks great and is super sturdy. I cannot recommend JD enough!
