Requested that the roofing crew not put their ladders on the guttering. They did not honor my request and now the guttering is scratched in several places. Crew threw the shingle bundles around on the roof rather than dropping them in place or setting them down. Result: Ceiling lights in my kitchen no longer work because they jarred the wiring loose. Company now says that they're not responsible. Overnight storage of tools: Put their tools, including three large unfolded tarps, in a flower bed on top of the plants then left for the night. I moved the tools. Clean up: Unsatisfactory. I'm still picking up nails, metal and plastic tabs, and other debris from the yard and flower beds. Nails in the yard run over by a lawnmower can be extremely dangerous. Supervision: Roofing crew supervisor showed up once during the job. The next time he came was to bring me an invoice. I pointed out the issues that I had with the job and he stated that the company would send out an electrician to look at the wiring. That never happened. He also stated that he would send the clean up worker back with a magnet to pick up the nails. That hasn't happened either. Overall: As far as I can tell, the roof installation is satisfactory but I expected more from this company. Wouldn't hire them again.

I could go on and on and on about how wonderful Integrity Roofing & Siding is, but....if you need a new roof, look no further!! They are the best!! Their customer service and follow-up is top notch!! Abel is fantastic!! He will take his time in explaining the product to ensure that you get the perfect roof! We upgraded our shingles and added additional vents. Michelle and Aaron in the billing department are amazing. They worked with our insurance company and invoiced them for the final payment, leaving us out of it completely. Finally, the crew!!! From start to finish, they were efficient and did an AMAZING job on our roof. Additionally, they were meticulous about ensuring our front and back yard were SPOTLESS!! We might not have the nicest house in our neighborhood, but we DEFINITELY have the nicest roof!! Thank you Integrity Roofing & Siding!!
Description of Work: They replaced our entire roof. As a courtesy, they also replaced some missing shingles before our roof was replaced, to ensure we wouldn't have any leaks before they could get to replacing the roof.

The sales rep (Chris) sat in our house and repeatedly made the statement that HE would file the supplemental claim and HE would work directly with our insurance company. Long story short, I got a call from Integrity asking about our appointment with Chris. He was punctual. He answered our questions. But he FAILED to give us a written estimate. Within an hour Chris sent his estimate (total amount only without any detail as to what it would entail). He also called and left a message on my cell phone indicating he had just learned we wanted a written estimate. That seemed to surprise him. After all, he was the one who sat on our sofa and talked about working directly with the insurance company. My hair may be white and I may be older than dirt, but I am not stupid. I would NEVER sign any contract with ANY contractor without knowing the specifics of that agreement. Beware of roofing contractors who tell you that the work they do won't cost YOU anything because they will work directly with your insurance company. Yes, the insurance companies do work with contractors but take it from a Certified Fraud Investigator, that is on very very very good way to find yourself in insurance fraud. Insist on being provided with an itemized list of things the roofing contractor is going to do and the cost for each item. Communicate yourself with your insurance company. Don't be emotionally blackmailed into thinking just because a roofing contractor says you need this or you need that because it is according to the Roofing Codes that this is a fact. We were told we had 2 layers of felt and it would cost an additional $600 to remove the second layer. I personally observed the roof being replaced and there was NO SECOND LAYER. We were told we had to have a "cricket" because our chimney was wider than 30". Yes, there is a FEDERAL code that stipulates this but in researching this issue, we determined that it is actually up to the building inspector in our area regarding enforcement. Furthermore, our research determined that the average cost of the cricket was $350-500. We were told it could be as much as $1600 additional...but our insurance company would pay for it because it is according to code. We could not find one other home in our area that has a cricket. Beware of roofing contractors who try to tell you that you have to have this or that by code. Do your homework, make a few phone calls, but do not believe it just because a contractor said it.

We read your review regarding our recent visit. Our goal is to provide the best customer experience possible. Transparency is a critical key to any customer experience. According to your account a wrong impression has been made about how we approach with customers' permission to communicate with insurance companies. Our goal is to establish working relationships with our customers with open dialogue. We wish we would have known our first visit gave you an unsettled feeling. We hope there is an opportunity to restart our conversation. We abide by all laws related to insurance compliance and utilize the Texas Department of Insurance as a resource to guide our practices. We take your accusations very seriously and look forward to demonstrating our commitment to transparency and excellent customer service. Thank you.

In November 2016 I had an estimate done by Integrity Roofing and their bid was accepted with a down payment of about 1/3 the price of the job. The estimator told me they would probably start the job in January 2017. In January I checked with Integrity and found that I was scheduled for sometime in April, despite what the estimator has told me. I believe that Integrity has since told their estimators not to promise such a short timeline due to the amount of storm damage work being done. That problem solved. On April 24th, a work crew showed up and did the tear off of the old shingle roofs. The work crews are NOT Integrity employees, but are contractors that Integrity uses regularly. There was no supervisor on site when I arrived home in the afternoon. The workers were already fastening down the new fabric over the existing old fabric. There was a rotted wood area on the rear porch that was supposed to be repaired as part of the job, yet they had put new fabric over the rotted wood and no repair had been made. There also was a large solar fan still in place on the roof that they had fastened new fabric around without removing the fan and sealing the hole. Mind you, this is a metal roof that allows for no holes so how they thought they were going to do it later is beyond me. In my suburb, the building codes require that ALL materials down to bare wood must come off before new material is put on. I stopped the workers, after finding one of the 3 people here that could speak English, and told them they were done for the day until I spoke with Integrity. I contacted Integrity and I do have to say that throughout this whole job process that they were responsive and helpful. I told them I was not happy that a crew was apparently doing things with no clue of what the job called for and demanded a supervisor be on site. The next day, a work crew arrived as did a site supervisor who brought the needed plywood for repairs and that was done. All of the material the workers put down the previous day had to be totally removed, as well as the old fabric they had left in place. They basically wasted a whole day correcting the mistakes from the previous day. The metal for the roofs was run out on site for installation. The site supervisor told me that he had several job sites to work and check on and would be back periodically to check on his workers. I would very strongly suggest that you demand that a supervisor or competent person who understands your particular job and work to be done be on site at all times. The work continued on the house and shed until that Friday, for a total of 5 days. After the work was supposedly completed, I checked the house and shed for the ridge vents that were to have been cut as part of the new roofs. The house ridge vents had been cut, but the shed had not. Again, if someone familiar with this particular job would have been on site all work would have been done right the first time. Called Integrity again and they were as usual, responsive and helpful. Worker(s) came out the following week, had to remove part of the metal roof on the shed that had just been installed, cut the ridge vent, then had to replace the metal. Twice the work than had to be done. Integrity did pull a permit with the city to have the work done and it had been posted properly on the front of the house. The city inspector finally approved the roof after 2 of the newly installed roof vents had to be changed to match the code in this city. This is not any fault of Integrity since each city seems to have different codes in addition to the Universal Codes. Despite all of the problems, the roofs look fantastic and the overall actual workmanship seems to be very good. I would urge Integrity to work on the communications between their subcontractors and make sure they understand all aspects of each job to avoid unnecessary problems like this.

Between the signing of contract and the actual work 6 months passed, due to heavy volume of roofing caused by hail storm in April 2016. When the team they worked quickly and professionally. They completed the job in 2 days, did an excellent job of cleaning up the trash and materials, and overall the quality of the work and materials were excellent. The one criticism I have is that they are not easy to get hold of at times, sometimes they respond quickly to requests for information, sometime I had to call multiple times. But given the overall experience, I would recommend Integrity Roofing.

Due to a major hail storm in May 2015, our insurance company declared our roof a total loss. We obtained several bids but decided to go with Integrity Roofing and couldn't be happier with the results! If we ever need any roofing work in the future, we'll call Integrity immediately!! Ron Suarez definitely chose the correct name to use for his business. From beginning to end of the process, we dealt with knowledgeable and professional people. Although, it took 8 months to get our turn in line, his crew arrived on time and replaced the roof in a single 12 hour day. They swept the drive with a magnet to pick up any stray nails and removed all the trash they'd created. I highly recommend this top notch company!

The initial salesperson who came out first had me sign a proposal contract, which said that I could cancel it within 3 days. I did feel that it was a little high pressured, and he was here for three hours. I'd like to recommend that they shorten this step in the process. The type of roof I had installed used 50 year limited lifetime warranty, class 4 impact resistant Owens Corning system. They do offer a 10 year workmanship warranty on the 3rd tier. The total surface area of the roof was 2,303.76 sq. ft. I recommend being very vigilant and watching out for nails that drop on the sidewalk or driveway, however this company does mention this in their contract. They were very communicative with me and always quickly answered my questions! The customer service is fantastic and they finished the job in one day!

Started off after the big storm back in April 2016. Had 4 other estimates but Integrity Roofing sold me on the point that they have their own roofers and do not use 3rd party contracts and they provide an inspector to come check out the roof once work is completed. They told me it would be done November 10th which was a few months off so I agreed. November 10th came around and I decided to call and find out. Turns out it was delayed another week. No big issue here I understand. Material was dropped off on top of my house the following week and I was told work would be done before thanksgiving. Not true. It did not get started until 11/29. So 2 weeks with material sitting on my roof before they could start the job. Not good but I understood. The day of the job came and everything seemed fine. Wife stayed home and called me around 11am and told me the roofers had punctured a water pipe inside my attic. I rushed home to find out that the company agreed it was their nail that punctured the pipe but they will not pay anything. Argument ensued and they referred back to fine print on their contract. (IF YOU DECIDE ON THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT FIX SOMETHING THEY BREAK) Argued more but they kept referring back to contract. So I call Integrity Roofing and they assure me a plumber is on the way to fix the issue but to bill me. I go back to work and get a call from my wife to tell me the whole team left. Roof not done and did not tell my wife when they would be back. No communication. Turns out the roofing company is actually 3RD PARTY COMPANY like they told me they would not use. I get home around 430pm to find a roof with an opening(you could see through the roof, hindsight I should have taken picture) and still no plumber. I call Integrity Roofing again and they tell me the plumber was called when I spoke to them earlier. I asked the representative at Integrity Roofing for the Plumbing companies phone number which they provided. I called the plumbing company who told me they would send someone out right away. Plumber showed up around 6pm and told me it was $750 to repair. At this point i needed the water turned back on so he did the work. Plumber told me that he had just received the call within the hour which tells me that Integrity Roofing did not call the plumber to come to my house until I called back at around 430pm. Around the same time 2 gentlemen show up in a random minivan (no identification at all) telling me they are there to finish the job. They work until its too dark and tell me they have to come back tommorow morning to finish the job. Its now the second day and Integrity Roofing sends a representative to collect the remaining balance. I tell him I am sorry but they have not even finished the roof. Representative gets on the roof and gets on his phone immediately. I start to point out things wrong here and there and he tells me to point it all out for the roofing company to fix it.( referring to the 3rd party company and not Integrity Roofing?) So I assume I have to inspect my own roof for any issues? So much for that promise when I signed the contract. I was going to wait to post this and give the company a chance to "make it right" but I am sitting here with a roof not finished and not very happy. I'll update this after hopefully the roof is done.

Mr. [Member Name Removed] we dearly apologize for the experience you incurred as described in your review. Regarding the punctured water line, we do our best to disclose as much information on our contracts for customers to be aware of any existing issues which could potentially adversely impact their project. We have found in our experience at times the internal infrastructure of a home may be out of code and pose a problem with a roof installation. We are continuing to improve the ways in which we inform our customers of these possibilities with prior existing conditions. Additionally, we have revisited some critical components to our customer experience with our team as much of what you have described is not the reputation or foundation Integrity Roofing and Siding was built on. We made some changes amongst our team to ensure an improved customer experience. When we completed your project and a final inspection we understood the dilemma incurred with the water pipe, but were unaware of the issues with our production installation team. We remain committed to service your needs associated with your project if there is anything you would like us to revisit.

All contacts with the company office personnel was positive and professional. Where homeowner attention is really required is when the roofing crew arrives, particularly if they don't have a company field supervisor on site to monitor the crew. The crew was hardworking, polite, and efficient, but homeowner observation quickly identified a few issues requiring a call to the company to send out a field supervisor. When completing the Proposal Contract, it was requested that all three primary roofing products (shingles, ridge vents, and decking felt) be GAF products in order to get the additional GAF warranty ([*** Link removed ***] This is not what was delivered. While the shingles were GAF Timberline HD, the ridge vents were from OwnesCorning, and the roofing felt/underlayment was from XT MAXFELT. Ref. #2 in the Proposal Contract, noticed the roofers are leaving the old 15# roofing felt on the plywood decking and putting new material on top of it. Question: How can you tell if there is any damage/rot to the plywood decking if it isn’t visible? Shouldn’t the adhesive ice/water barrier be applied directly to the plywood decking? (It was expected that both the old shingles and roofing felt would be removed, but removal of the old felt was an extra charge that was NOT in the final invoice.) Noticed that roofers are laying the ice/water leak barrier in the valleys over the new synthetic roofing felt/underlayment. Question: Shouldn’t the adhesive ice/water barrier be applied directly to the exposed plywood? “PRIOR to applying MaxFelt, install a layer of approved ashing or water proof membrane (commonly referred to as “peel ‘n stick”) and ensure that it adheres properly and securely to the solid wood decking.” [*** Link removed ***] A company field supervisor issued guidance to correct this. Ref. #9 in the Proposal Contract, haven’t seen any any galvanized metal flashing for the valleys as specified in the contract to put new flashing in. Three pieces were on the materials list, but not delivered. Rolls of light gauge flashing were delivered and used on the remaining valleys on Day 2. Recommendation: Shortly before work begins, ensure you get names and contact info for the roofing company’s field supervisor(s) responsible for your roof project, and ask who in the roofing crew is the senior man on site.

It was great from the beginning of getting the estimate, explanation of each type of roof available for our home, helping us choose the best color and making the final decision. Integrity was very careful to make sure we understood each item that was necessary for the job, and gave us two items free which made a big difference to the look of our roof compared to the previous one we had on it. As anticipated, it took until late June for Integrity to overcome the backlog in work and materials. But when they arrived, it was clear that they knew their business. Working together as a well-trained team, they stripped away obsolete equipment and damaged shingles, down to the bare wood. The new shingles were laid efficiently too, the entire job being finished in 1.5 days. In workmanship, clean-up and service, this team was absolutely first class!
Description of Work: We were hit by the same April, 2016 hailstorm that shattered windows, while damaging cars and roofs all over San Antonio. We needed a new roof and skylight, not only to repair the damage but also to upgrade the quality and technology of one of the most basic components of any home. Especially in Texas, we needed a roof that would stand up to heat and cold as well as wind, rain and hail. Integrity Roofing had the best and most timely estimate.

We had been scheduled for May 20th but they did not show up so we rescheduled them. They came back out and they were supposed to give us a quote. They did not respond. I called them three times before I finally received the actual quote which we received last Monday. It was almost two months after initial contact. They should call and follow up through the process. The price was average. They were pretty much in line. The two people that I worked with gave the excuse "Well, we've been busy."
