Took advantage of a half price special and we are really happy with the results. The estimator was on time and professional, and the company actually called us a week before the work was to be done to say they had an opening and could come out sooner. Everything was done well. I plan to use them when we have the entire roof redone.

Horrible experience? Had to ask for my money back from Angie's list
Description of Work: I was to receive $300 of repairs for $149. I instead received a bid for a new roof minus the $300.00. It seemed like a scam to me.

We were called out to do a full roof inspection. The $149 covered the full inspection and any maintenance required up to a $300 value. The roof was badly in need of replacement and the customer was advised of this. Roofs cannot be repaired when they are horribly damaged even though that it difficult to accept. We will continue to offer homeowners honest advise.

An estimator for Integrity Roofing came to my home at a time convenient to me and did a detailed evaluation of my roof with complete measurements. He went over options on materials and the warranty. He then came back to my house and provided a detailed quote to tear off the old shingles and ridge vent and replace with new. He also went over the warranty again based on the options I chose. He made sure to answer any questions I may have had. The work was scheduled and materials were delivered on time, work was completed quicker than estimated. The day before the project, the company called to confirm the starting time and material delivery. The estimator was at my house when the workers and materials arrived and spent time making sure everything got started. The workers continuously cleaned up during the project and at the end of each day a final sweep of my yard and driveway was done. The estimator called me the first night with an update on how far they were along and asked if there were any concerns or questions. There was a final inspection by the company, including a final sweep and inspection of my yard for any trash. The roof looks great and I am very satisfied with the whole project. Overall, the best company I have dealt with in the 20 years I have lived in San Antonio. Very professional with excellent customer service.

From start to t he finish this is a very bad company making money out of a lie which was backed up by Angie's list.
Description of Work: I gave a bad rate because the offer for sevice is just an estimate payment. The estimate does not correlate with the estimate given at the home visit. They follow up with a handwritten estimate scanned and e-mailed to me. I would be nice to have a word document or something more professional. The service is schedule according to their sclhedule not to your time. They gave me two possible days for the service and could not tell me the exact day. Finally, they did not come those days but it was a cancellation and called me to fill that spot. Angie's list should not promote this deal without knowing what they are doing.

I had recently moved into a new house and there was roof damage from a tree rubbing against the house and some wood damage from a revious sattelite dish. I use an Angie's List discount offer and received an estimate. They readily accepted the coupon and completed the work efficiently and professionally, to include the painting and a thorough clean-up of their left over materials. Nothing to complain about - Good Job!
Description of Work: Damaged roof shingles from a tree rubbing against the house and some rotted wood where there was previously mounted a sattelite dish. Received an estimate, scheduled the work and inspected the finished product. The roof repair, replacement of the rotted wood soffet and repainting was quality work. Initial service was poor; crews came out twice to provide an estimate on roof repair without even bringing a ladder to get on the roof to inspect it. When on third attempt an estimate was obtained it was twice the price of other estimates even with the discount. Cancelled the deal and got a refund and posted an appropriate review. Company contacted us and apologized and offered to provide the repairs for free but a similar bad experience ensued when the crew came out to make repairs. They did repair/seal the flashing around a vent which was leaking but didn't repair any of the original damage for which we'd called them out and had gotten estimates and still wanted to charge us a higher than average price to do those repairs. In the end the "free" repair cost us more in aggravation and time off work to repeatedly have to meet them at the house. Even though we got an apology and an offer for free repairs, the woman answering the phone when we tried to reschedule repairs was rude and didn't seem to care whether we ever got the work done or were satisfied.

Quality of work so far so good with no problems. Inception and completion dates were on target and I was impressed with that part. However, the communication from several of Integrity's representatives left a lot to be desired. Many unreturned phone calls, misplaced paperwork and too many people to deal with was a problem for me. Even after completion it seemed like the left hand didn't know what the right hand had done and I had one rep giving me a paid in full receipt and another coming back trying to collect a balance. When we were discussing this back and forth, they abruptly stopped all communication without proper conclusion statement. I thought that was very unprofessional. I would not re-hire them nor recommend them.

The man that came out climbed all over the roof and attic trying to identify the source of the leak. He finally found an issue with nail that had broken. He let us know the estimate to fix, which was very reasonable. The workers came out and within several ours had replaced a section of the roof. It looks great and our leaky roof is fixed.

The did not get the bid so my reference is mainly on the way they figure too much replacement.
Description of Work: Individual who came was very young and apparently did not understand that my roof is tongue n groove. He made the estimate to include replacing my whole roof with 500 feet of plywood, making the estimate $2980.00 to do this job. Needless to say I was not pleased with this price and what it appeared he planned to do, which I did not wish plywood put on my roof but when I heard the price I said I will consider it and decided to find someone else!

Overall it was a good job. The job was slow to get started. The technician arrived on time explained what he could and couldn't do, and that is where the issue surfaced. The advertisement stated minor repairs made. I knew I had a few missing shingles and thought that fell under minor repairs. The technician said it didn't so I was going to cancel the appointment and get my money back. I couldn't see paying someone $149.00 to inspect my roof, tell me what was wrong with the roof, and then do nothing about it. The technician then called the company and after much debate, they said the price included up to ten shingle replacements. I never did get an understanding of what minor repairs on a roof consisted of if not shingle replacement. Once the job was started, it went quickly; six shingles were replaced and the technician left. The techician remained professional, but I would not use the company again. If I have to debate what an ad does and doesn't contain (minor repairs), I don't need the service. I would rather hire someone else that can meet what the ad says without having to debate the ad contents.

Integrity first sent their person in charge of quality control out with the head of the construction crew to go over what was to be done and make sure all the details were understood. The first crew, which was to do the actual construction, showed up when arranged. They said that it would take 2 days. They stripped the roof of shingles where needed. Although I understood that they would just toe-nail the joists in place, they actually removed some of the decking and nailed directly into the old joists at the eave, which pleased me. They did find some dry rot damage that had to be repaired. The construction crew ( 2 men ) did very good work. There was a slight chance of rain that evening, so they worked very, very hard and almost into dark to get the roof done to where it would be water proof. They were just done when it began to sprinkle. They actually were trying to clean up their debris in the rain. I told them that since they would be coming tomorrow, they could do it then. They still collected it into piles. The next day, they came and finished the work. They would have painted the new exposed wood, but we were going to repaint and had not decided on a color, so they used primer instead. The QC man came after that to make sure everything was done well. The actual roofing crew consisted of one man - it was a small job. It was interesting learning how they attach standing-seam metal roofing. I had never seen or read about it. The roof went on very well. He used regular metal valley material on the newly created valley. He did a very good job of matching the old shingles when tying the roofs together. Again the QC man came out and inspected the work. I am extremely pleased with the job performed. I am sure that we will never have a water infiltration problem ever again.
Description of Work: The previous owner had a patio boxed in as a sunroom. The roof was almost flat and not well done. Nails holding down a large sheet of flashing to divert water had come loose. The sheet roofing material would pop when stepped on in several large areas. Driving rain would penetrate. I wanted the roof to be resloped and tied into the main roof better. I contacted three companies with Angie's help and got estimates from all three. Although Integrity's was not the cheapest, they addressed my concerns better. They recommended a standing-seam metal roof, which I had seen several other sunrooms in the neighborhood had. They also suggested a vent to address my concerns of a dead space between the old roof and new roof. I could have done the work myself but did not want it to stretch out for weeks that it would have taken me. I would have taken the old roof decking off completely, but all three companiessaid there was no need. All three also was just going to toe-nail the joists over the old roof. I did not think that was the best way, but had to admit that it was adequate. The pitch that could be attained was limited by the chimney. Since I wanted as steep of a pitch as possible I also chose Integrity because they were the only company that would take the new roof as close as possible to the chimney. I believe the others wouldn't because it would require longer joists which cost them and eventually me more.

We bought the "deal," knowing we needed a new roof. The only negative thing about the deal was that we didn't see any actual savings or discount. When the company came out, they gave us a bid on our house, and we showed them our Angie's List "deal," but it didn't change a thing. My father had told me, "Heck no, you'll end up paying $7,000 or $8,000 for a good roofing job," and as usually, my dad was right. I didn't mind paying for the high quality, though. They got in, they did the job when they said they would, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were gone. New roof. I wish every contractor worked like that.

Integrity office staff were helpful in setting up appointment for estimate. Estimator provided timely estimate. Work was scheduled w/in a few days. A worker had begun the work, when it began to rain unexpectedly. He continued to work while it was merely misting, but then when it became clear that the rain was not going to let up, he covered the affected area of the roof with a temporary covering. He returned on the next business day, which was a Monday and completed the work. An Integrity representative followed up with a call to make sure that we were satisfied.

I went with this service provider because there was an Angie's List coupon and we happened to have a leak in our back room at the same time. Our house is over 100 years old with the original metal roof, except for the area of the leak which is shingled. On the first trip, Rene came out and looked at the area and determined that the cause of the leak was a section of roofing where the metal and shingles meet. This was repaired and the total charge would have been around $500 or so. We haven't had much rain lately, so it took a couple of months before we could tell if the leak was fixed. It seemed to be fine, but then in August we had a leak in the same room, but in a different section of the room. It was raining pretty heavily, so I called and left a message on the company's voice mail. I didn't hear anything back the next morning. I called the next afternoon and was told I'd be called back to schedule a time. Three days later, I got a call. Rene and another guy (can't remember his name) came out to look and said they couldn't find the source of the leak after testing with water sprayed on the roof. It rained again and the leak was worse. The receptionist explained that after talking with Rene, the guys had not actually climbed into the crawl space in the shingled section to check it. I informed the reception that I'd decided to have a different roofer come and take a look and do the work. The owner of Integrity called me himself to apologize and that he'd really like to have his guys come out since their work is covered under warranty. Rene and the same guy came out again and determined that the leak was actually coming from a section of the metal roof (?) and dripping down somehow to the shingled area. The only way to fix the would be to just put a new metal roof on the whole section of the original metal roof. Two other roofers (with more experience working on historic homes) came out and agreed that the leak was in the same spot of the original metal roof, but could be repaired using artisan techniques and only the section immediately around the leak would need to be replaced. They also both pointed out the section originally "repaired" by the Integrity folks and said that someone had done a poor job at attempting repairs at one time, without knowing about the previous work done by Integrity. I wouldn't recommend this company, especially for anyone with an historic home.

The salesman, Craig was very professional and took the time to describe the product and service. No pressure sales. A very comprehensive estimate so no change orders and no surprises for either side. While the price was moderately higher than some of the other quotes the finished product is very high quality and craftsmanlike. There were a few scheduling conflicts and delays due to weather but the finished product was worth the wait. The estimator, Ed, and foreman, Rene, were both extremely knowledgable and professional and took the time to go over the estiamte and respond to my questions and concerns during the job. I'd be glad to utilize their services again.

Craig came to house and walked the roof identifying issues. Craig called sent emails and called to follow up, otherwise I may have forgotten to finish the deal. After receiving a bid we were offered a selection of dates and we chose Nov 1. Rene was on time and noted that the job would take longer than he planned but would keep on job till it was done. Mr Gomez and his helper worked late then returned the next morning to finish up. Mr. G even did some extra work such as painting the sheet metal and made the repair look great. Rene came back and checked out the job and made sure we were happy before he would accept payment. The cost was exactly as bid. I would use and recommend them without reservation.
