Home Elevator of Texas

Contracted with Home Elevator of Texas to repair my residential elevator. They came out three weeks ago and got it up and running but couldn't get the lights on inside the elevator - citing poor design of having the fuse at a place that one repair person couldn't reach and that he would need a second person to assist with the final repair. I was to be on the schedule the next week and never heard from HET again. I called and was told that the repair person had an emergency and couldn't finish the repair (which i completely understood). I was told it would be the next week...never heard from HET again! I called and was told...we have you on the schedule for this Thursday (3 weeks after the initial repair). I took off from work but got a call today saying they couldn't find a repairman. I explained that I was already on the schedule and the scheduler told me "I don't know why they did that..." Very frustrated and upset at the overall lack of care and follow through for a company that seem to have many positive reviews. Use a different vendor for your services! Stay away!!!!

I was provided with great representation from Jenny regarding the overall aspects of the stairlift. She was prompt in placing the order and kept me well informed as to the status of the order and the delivery. Both her and Blair, the installer, were very professional, kind and respectful. They were very patient and answered all of my questions as they came up and waited for my new flooring to be installed prior to installing the stairlift. I highly recommend Home Elevator of Texas.

Jenny and Blair were extremely nice to work with. I would highly recommend them. I had a stairlift installed (on a Saturday) And it looks and operates great! I am very satisfied with the end result.

I haven't received the unit yet. They come and measured as represented. I need the unit as soon as possible but since it is a custom job I understood it would take longer. Their proposal which I accepted said so.
