HOME DEPOT

I always go to Home Depot, it seems like once a week. I removed a bunch of plants and after I removed them I needed to aerate to keep them from coming back. I had to do some sprinkler work recently. Home Depot is fine. You have to know what you want. If you don't know what you want, then you probably shouldn't be doing it. Home Depot is as good as any of the rest of them. Like I said, if you can't find it at Home Depot, you can go somewhere else. Usually when I'm making home repairs, I like to see what I'm looking at before I just go buy stuff and sometimes you have to go online to get stuff, depending on whether it's a tool or a part. Sometimes you have to order from the manufacturer because nobody carries it. They do have most of what I need sometimes. It depends on how old your house is, depends what it is. There's a lot of stuff Home Depot doesn't carry that I have to order from the manufacturer. I usually start at Home Depot and then go somewhere else if I can't find it. If I can't find it locally, I usually go online and if I can't find it online, then usually I'll have to go to the manufacturer or go to a wholesale place that the manufacturer works with. Usually whoever their distributor is in town because manufacturers don't like shipping things to individuals. Sometimes things are a good price and sometimes they are not. It depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes their prices are good on things and sometimes they are not. It's like anything. It depends on what the flavor of the day is. Sometimes you get somebody that knows what they are doing, sometimes you don't. A lot of what Home Depot is that you have to know what you are looking for. If you don't, sometimes you have people that are real knowledgeable and will really help you out and sometimes you get a guy that can point a finger and go, "There." And if you get there when they are busy, sometimes you are stuck. It's like anything. Home Depot service is pretty good and they are close by, why not use them. I usually go to Home Depot. Like anybody, they usually show up when they say they are going to show up. They are as professional as anybody else. Can Home Depot screw up? Sure they can, anybody can. I like them. Home Depot is generally a good store. Some things they have, some things they don't. Sometimes they have great prices, sometimes they don't. You just have to try them.

I don't really have them delivery stuff. I bought a washer and dryer through them a couple of years ago and they were here when they said they would be here. It was on sale. Those things are usually about $800 a piece. That was for the big one, usually the smaller ones are at that price. It had all the programmable stuff on it so it was large capacity, heavy duty and since I worked out in an oil field, I needed something to get my clothes clean. So we were looking to see what was well-rated. They came out and installed it and set it up and everything. They did a good job. We got a good price on them. We shopped around quite a bit and waited to buy until all of a sudden we saw this and we said, "Oh wow, look at this thing, it's on sale, let's jump on it." And it wasn't one of those discontinued models either. It just happened to be where LG was running a sale. I think it was a Memorial Day sale or something like that. It only happens usually once or twice a year. They were clearing out their inventory. It wasn't even the new model year because we saw two weeks later the prices went back up like $250 each. It wasn't like all of a sudden they were gone and they didn't sell them anymore. The manufacturer was running a sale, and they were pushing them and boom, we got it. It wasn't but a few weeks later and we were like wow. You always want to see maybe they get cheaper if you wait awhile. They didn't get any cheaper. They went back up. We never saw them get any cheaper. We were glad we bought them when we did. It's like these manufacturers give them a window. Usually the price goes down because they are trying to get rid of their inventory and there's just none left. But for this particular appliance, it wasn't that they were trying to get rid of them, the manufacturer said we are selling these and giving people a discount. It was for a couple of weeks. It was there and it was gone. It's great quality. A great washer and dryer so far, knock on wood. We had to wait. It took them about a week to schedule the delivery, because obviously it happened to be around a holiday and everybody wanted stuff. It wasn't like we had to have it yesterday, so it worked out fine for us. We just wanted somebody that would take the old washer and dryer while they were at it. They got here when they said they would between 1:00 and 5:00. I think they even showed up on a Saturday. They installed it. We had to buy a hose. That's the one thing I wanted to tell you. They sell you a washer and dryer, then you have to buy the hose to connect it with and then you got to buy the dryer thing to connect with it. That added a little bit to it. It doesn't matter who you buy something from, you have to go buy stuff because if you washer and dryer are old, it doesn't fit. It was great. They were in and out and didn't scratch anything. It was good. I wouldn't have a problem buying an appliance from them. My parents even use them for stuff. They bought a new house a couple of years ago and bought a lot of appliances from Home Depot. I bought all the parts at the same time. It was one of those deals when you click out and all of a sudden you read what people bought with it. A new dryer vent, I guess we should probably get one of those. And then you are looking at new hoses and think we have hoses for the old one, but maybe we should get new hoses. Maybe they won't fit. So we bought new hoses. We did it all at the same time.

I think they do a great job and have a great selection of products.

Home Depot is good. The people are always good, helpful, and reliable. They always call back. I have no complaints about them. I always had a positive experience there. It is a good place. I have no dislikes. They sell good quality products.

I didn't find what I was looking for. I shop there for a monthly basis. I prefer another hardware store.

Contracted with Home Depot for the replacement of the particle board siding with hardiplank siding, repair of damaged wood and painting of newly installed siding and existing stucco. The process began in June when I signed the contract. Work did not begin for at least 7 weeks after the contract was signed. Communications throughout the process were almost non-existent. If I did not initiate the communication, I would hear nothing from them. Promised start dates never materialized. Promised inspections with Home Depot personnel never materialized. Painting was started but still not finished. Instructions on the contract were not transcribed to the work order. Contractor was not provided all of the material they needed to do the job. Clean up was haphazard. Overpaint and splatter was not cleaned up.

The lady there helped us really in finding what we wanted and all their staff were very helpful in answering questions.

I would recommend them to friends and family.

They are convenient for me because they got more outlets near me.

We did extensive independent research on carpet and pad qualities that were important to us and to our project. We found carpeting that met our standards at Home Depot. We compared the carpet we wanted with what independent carpet retailers could provide for the same cost, and chose to purchase Martha Stewart Living carpet from Home Depot. We felt like it was the best quality for the money. With the assistance of a knowledgeable sales clerk in the carpeting department, we were able to purchase the carpet, the pad, and schedule a measuring and then schedule an installer. The installer was the greatest unknown in the project and we emphasized to the sales clerk we wanted their best installer. We were assured they used a reputable and well-qualified contractor. We were very happy with the installation crew, which called to confirm our scheduled install date. They arrived on time, were extremely efficient and clean, and did beautiful work; the carpet is smooth and well seamed with minimal scuffing of the baseboard paint. You could tell they took pride in their craft. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the selected carpet and pad , and with the installation of the carpet.

They were good and I would use them again in future.

Their customer service is always good. We haven't had any problems with them at all in the past. I feel like their pricing is better than their competitors. I like their overall attitude and the way they handle things. I find that their easier to deal with and that's why I use them on a pretty consistent basis. They have a contractor that works for them to come and install the door. The price includes the door as well as the labor. I could tell that they knew what they were doing when they came to install the door. I appreciate that they were more than willing to fix any problems that we came across. Their professionalism was very good and they even showed up to do the work on time.

I love shopping at the Home Depot. They have great products at a reasonable price. Their staff is very pleasant to work with.

Home Depot provided a well managed job and the results were definitely ideal. Everyone from the sales person to the installers was very polite and helpful. The carpet looks good and has held up well. We need to have them stretch it, which isn't uncommon and they will when we have the time. It was a well done job all around by a great group of people.

Home Depot did a very good job on our new carpet. We have not had any kind of problems with the carpet. The crew that installed it and removed the old carpet were very nice. The price was very reasonable. They did a good job cleaning up their mess when they were done.

Home Depot were great. They had a good selection of carpet and we got high quality carpet for a good price. They even hauled the old carpet away for us. They did a good job and we have not had any problems. There are no loose spots or runs. The insurance company handled the cost for us, although I know the price.

THE CEILING FAN WAS PURCHASED ON SALE. I ASKED TO HAVE A HOME DEPOT REPRESENTATIVE INSTALL THE CEILING FAN AND THEY DID SO AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THEY WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION VERY QUICKLY AND HAD THE FAN INSTALLED WITHIN AN HOUR.

THE CEILING FANS WERE VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND OF GOOD QUALITY. WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR SOME TIME AND WERE ABLE TO FIND A VERY GOOD SALE AT HOME DEPOT AND A VERY WIDE SELECTION OF CEILING FAN PRODUCTS. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLATION OF THE FANS WE SELECTED.

HOME DEPOT HAS A GREAT SELECTION OF PLUMBING FIXTURES AND OTHER ASSESORIES TO MATCH. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE. THE EMPLOYEES ARE NOT VERY EFFICENT AND IT IS VERY HARD TO GET HELP.

HOME DEPOT HAS A GREAT SELECTION OF CEILING FANS FROM SIMPLE LOOKING TO VERY DECORATIVE FOR VERY REASONABLE PRICES. THE EMPLOYEES ARE A LITTLE HARD TO FIND AND NOT REAL HELPFUL.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE STORE WAS GREAT. THEY ALSO INFORMED US OF SEVERAL PROMOTIONS THAT WE WERE NOT EVEN AWARE OF SO THAT ADDED VALUE AND THEY PROMPTLY SCHEDULED THE MEASURING AND THE WORK. EVERYTHING STAYED ON TARGET.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY WERE PROMPT IN THEIR SERVICE. THE WOOD HAD TO BE ORDERED AND TOOK A LITTLE LONGER TO COME IN THAN WE WANTED, BUT THE END RESULT WAS GOOD.
