Description of Work: We met both the owner and his son, Jerrod. We talked to the latter about what we wanted and what needed doing. After arriving he did not hesitate to tell us the floors needed re-sanding and refinishing, which is what we wanted, but he arrived thinking we just wanted them cleaned. He provided great suggestions and called us at various steps in the process to make decisions on both color and finish. Danny and crew did a great job...just the sanding made the floors look a 1000% better. The floors look better than we ever expected and we can't wait to finish moving in and enjoying our new home. Hammonds was a couple of hundred more that the others we looked at, but we are very pleased with the result.

Description of Work: I was very impress with Hammonds from my first contact and beyond. I had water damage to my 1960 hardwood floors. They came our and tested for moisture under the floor and found it in several areas. They are waiting for me to arrange a time for them to come back and replace boards , sand and stain the old floors. The job is not completed, but I'm very happy so far and sure they will do a great job.

+ 0 moreWOW, these guys are unbelievable, showed up on time, the floors are beautiful. We had no problems with them at all, we would use them again and again and would be happy to recommend.
Description of Work: Refinish the hardwood floors in 4 bedrooms, hall, dining and living room, removed 2 medal grates on floor from older heating system and replaced with wood and you can not tell that the grates where ever there.

+ -1 moreMarty Hammonds and his crews and supervisors were efficient, polite, and completely professional on this major flooring job. They dealt with all our questions and concerns and helped us decide on the stain color. The crews also worked carefully and always arrived on time.
Description of Work: They did removal of old carpet, sanding, filling of nail holes and gouges, staining, sealing and installation of new shoe molding throughout the house (living room, dining room, and three bedrooms).

+ 0 moreI had gotten two other estimateS before deciding on Hammonds Flooring. They did a superb job on all three of our floors. The men covered our furniture, to help eliminate the dust from settling on it. They worked well with each and everyone and were professional while doing our flooring work. The floors are perfectly level, smooth, fit nicely around the trim and every room looks beautiful. Their clean up was great, one man was constantly using a solvent to remove any excess glue from the flooring and the dust level was minor.
Description of Work: Hammonds Wood Floors were here a few months ago to replace floors in three rooms. The men covered our furniture in each room before starting to work. The three men took 2 1/2 days to install hardwood in two rooms and laminate flooring in the Den.
