H2O Pros

My house is in Converse, TX. My water softener quit working, and I found this company. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. The repairman, John, quickly diagnosed the problem, offered solutions with the pros and cons of each, and was willing to talk them over with me. The parts and labor to fix my water softener were nearly as expensive as a new one so I asked about purchasing a new one. He said they would install it and haul away the old one. All of this experience so far was standard "good service." Two things pushed them up into the "outstanding" category. John told me if I was interested in a new water softener, he would "put on his salesman hat" and talk with me about the options his company offered. I never felt pressured to buy the models he offered, and he was willing to answer any questions and give me time to research it and call him back. When I called him back to purchase his company's water softener, he was able to install it right away, and he would not take any payment until the work was completed to my satisfaction (which was the very next day). The second thing John did was to also look at my water heater. He noticed a little water near the water heater. It wasn't his job to inspect the water heater, but he did and let me know it was leaking just a little bit. He said his company didn't service water heaters, but he told me the parts I might get at Lowe's and about how much they cost. He told me this so that if I hired someone, I would be able to spot an inflated estimate. Earlier in our conversation, he had said his company was just a small business of honest folks trying to offer a fair deal and help people out. Well, my experience with the company showed me this was true, and I highly recommend them and would certainly do business with them again.

John was very nice, professional, diagnosed problem and explained what needed to be done. He gave a reasonable quote, ordered parts and came back well within the time expected. John was very honest and trustworthy; didn't try to sell us a new water softener like other companies. Would definitely use this company again with no hesitation.

Very well. Arrived when expected and called to let me know he was on the way 30 minutes beforehand. John installed the softener and taught me about the settings, etc. Very professional, and prompt - two exceptional qualities you like to see in companies providing services.

Fast efficient and reliable

I called H20 pros to come out and inspect my water softener. They came out to the house on the date set and on time. After inspection, they provided an estimate both for repair and replacement. Due to the age of the current water softener we had, we decided to go with a new water softener all together. I called H20 Pros back, let them know I wanted to replace, and they were back at the house a day later and on time again. Job took about 1 hour. All old supplies and water softener were removed by them and they left the area clean. New Water Softener has been in the house for a few weeks now and is working perfectly with no leaks or issues. Would use them again for sure.

We have been renting a water softener for several years. We decided to purchase our own water softener. Originally, I was going to purchase one from a and quot;big boxand quot; store and called H2O pros to ask about installation. Jim said they'd be happy to install our water softener. After some research, I decided I wanted a higher quality water softener than was offered at the stores I had visited. I called Jim back and asked him if they sold water softeners. He told me about the water softeners they sold (Clack) and I decided to go ahead and have a Clack water softener installed ($1100.00 including installation and removal of old unit). Jim came to the house, carefully removed my old water softener, and installed my new one. I have had the new softener for about 2 months and it has been working beautifully. I contacted Jim for additional information and he responded immediately. I highly recommend H2O pros and would use them again in the future.

They were sent out by Sears to uninstall a dishwasher that I was returning. The only reason I was returning the dishwasher is because Sears had a different contractor install the dishwasher and they did a HORRIBLE job. I fought with Sears for almost 3 weeks trying to get the and quot;bad installationand quot; corrected and finally gave up and returned the product. Sears was beyond horrible in the customer service department. I was promised and assured that and quot;I would hear from the installer the next day and someone would be out to correct the mistakeand quot; several times. I even waited at home on 3 different days for the installer to come fix the mistake. It NEVER happened and Sears never did a thing about it but more empty promises that I and quot;would hear from the installer the next day.and quot; H2O Pros tried to convince me to stay with Sears if they assured me that they would be the installer even going so far as to offer a free installation if I would be willing to try another dishwasher from Sears. I appreciated their efforts to keep me as a Sears customer, but unfortunately Sears had already angered and disappointed me beyond repair. H2O Pros came out when they said they would and even got permission to take the uninstalled dishwasher with them to return to Sears. Sears customer service (a joke!!) wanted the dishwasher uninstalled and left in my garage for the Sears delivery team to come pick up 2 days later. H2O Pros TRULY provided great customer service!! They even did a couple of extra things for me while uninstalling the dishwasher. They made sure that the hot water was capped off so that I could still use my kitchen sink until I get another dishwasher installed. They even corrected a previous plumbers mistake. Several years ago a plumber installed a new faucet at the kitchen sink, after he left I noticed that the hot and cold water was reversed, H2O corrected that for me, no cost, just trying to make me happy as a customer. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!! I felt like they provided customer service the way customer service and quot;used to beand quot;!!

I have been in the market for a new water softener for some time now and have done a good bit of research, read reviews, etc. I read some good things about Clack, knew I wanted something that might be a little better than an off the shelf softener but didn't think I needed something and quot;custom madeand quot; or super high end to improve my water quality. I called H20 Pros and they carried Clack, their prices were very reasonable, Jim returned my call within an hour or so, he was friendly, professional, and super knowledgeable and I loved that I didn't get some and quot;over the topand quot; sales pitch. I made an appointment, he showed up on time (he actually moved some things around his schedule to come the day I preferred), he answered all of my questions, did a super job with the installation and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. I noticed with the old softener that my hair never felt clean, despite the brand of shampoo I used or how many times I washed, rinsed and repeated! Now my water feels noticeably softer on my skin, my hair looks and feels better and I just feel more at ease knowing we're bathing and washing our clothes, dishes, etc, with cleaner water. I would recommend this product and would definitely call H20 Pros again for any of my plumbing needs.

It may be that this provider does very good work, but I'll never know since I could not get a call back from them after leaving a message.

We moved into our new home the begining of April and scheduled Jim with H20 Pros to install a water softener immediately after our move in date. Jim was very accomodating with our schedule and the softener was isttalled in very little time. He explained the basics of the system since we had never had a water softener before. We can definitely tell the difference with the softener and we are so glad we went through H20 Pros. We are especially happy with the warranty on both the equipment and labor. It gives us some peace of mind knowing that if we have any issues, we can give Jim a call.

I recently bought my 1st water softener and had a friend of the family come and hook it up. After a day or so i noticed something wasn't right. The softener just didn't seem to be working correctly. So i called the manufactuer and they walked me through a few test ofer the phone to test it out. After about 20 min they said something was not setup correctly. They gave me the name of a certified repair business. So i called them and left two diffrent messages over the course of a few days but never received a response. I wasn't sure what to do so i turned to google and found the name of H2O Pros. I called and spoke with Jim Morey. I explained what was going on and he said he could be out at my house in just a few hours. Sure enough a few hours later Jim showed up and got right to work. Not only did he fix the issue, but he took the time to explain to me what he was doing and what the problem was. He showed me how to work the diffrent settings and told me what to look for in case of another issue. Great service. Would highly recommend!

H2O Pros had installed a water softener system about a year ago. Rats had chewed through the water lines a few months ago, so we turned the softener off. After ensuring we had ridded ourselves of the rat problem in our garage, we called Jim and he came out and replaced the lines the very same day!

Jim was very quick and was available the next day. He was very kind and very professional. He called the night before and 30 minutes prior to arriving. He was able to do the job quickly. I would highly recommend his company for any hot water heater or water softner to anyone.

I called Jim on Friday to see if he could come out to look at our water softener leak. He was very nice and professional on the phone and even offered to try and fit me in that evening if he had time, but scheduled a confirmed appointment for early Saturday morning. He arrived on time, diagnosed the issue within five minutes and was on his way to hunt down the specialty part. Upon his return he installed it and tested our softener within 20 minutes. Before he left he also gave us a free water hardness test. Jim was very pleasant and professional to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I called other plumbing companies and they all quoted much higher prices than H2O Pros. I really appreciated his reasonable price and kindness.

This is the company in fall 2011 who is contracted with Sears in San Antonio to deliver and install major applicances bought at Sears. I had bought a dishwasher from Sears 11/26, and Sears used their data server to schedule a 12/1 delivery. On 11/28, H2OPros called to say that Sears had sold so many applicances that they could not cope with keeping up with the installs (I was later told that one of Sears' other installers had gone out of business and their orders were moved to H2OPros), and so they would reschedule my delivery and installation for 12/8 a.m. And that they would call the previous day to confirm, ike what I have experienced with other deliveries. No day-before call came. At 9 am on 12/8 I called and was told the delvery had been rescheduled for the afternoon. "No good" I said, I had scheduled business meetings for the afternoon since they had scheduled me for morning. So they rescheduled me for a week later (I'm back again at the bottom of the list). On 12/16, again having not heard from them, I called at 9:30, and was told they did not have a record of my order but would check and call me back. 1.5 hr later they called back and said that my paper had been misplaced so my dishwasher was not scheduled for delivery, but that they could schedule me for 12/17 or 12/19. I asked for 12/17 am because I had a committment for the afternoon, but they said they could not promise and would have to wait until the delivery day to confirm. I'd heard that before. Plus, I was told that the dispatcher, with whom I was speaking, was having a bad day and didn't want to talk to me anymore (and I was being as polite as possible). So I called my Sears sales person, and explained my frustration that they had cancelled deliver 3 times and each time put me at the bottom of the list for the next available slot. Sears did some checking and called me back with news that the H2OPros head guy had committed to getting my dishwasher installed that day and I should call. Which I did, but could only leave a message. Who calls me back soon after by my old friend the dispatcher having a bad day, who says their trucks are full for the day but he could get it delivered on Friday. He calls back 4 hr later and says Friday won't happen. I'm now scheduled for Saturday. So--Never Never Never again will I buy the service and installation from a Big Box store!!! I also had since checked with a plumber and learned they charge ~ $120/hr, and probably I could have a pro install the dishwasher for no more than what Sears' contractor charges. But I can pick up the dishwasher in my truck and I have room to store the old one for 6 months until the next San Antonio bulky item pickup is scheduled.Having

I contacted H2O Pros because they offered a free water tester and I wanted to test the softener I installed several years ago. After they sent me the tester and I found my softener was not working properly, Jim came out and fixed the softener for free while discussing options for an under sink filtration system. His only request was that we consider him if we install the filtration system. He was very knowledgable and professional. If I install the filter, he'll get the job!

Jim arrived on time. He had done much of the prep work to make the job go extremely smooth. He swapped out our old unit quickly and tested everything to make sure it was working.
