Description of Work: I took my Singer Featherweight for evaluation and was told I needed a new motor. This was done in a matter of minutes. The price was going to be exorbitant, I thought....as I had seen the new motor prices online. I sent it to a woman who specializes in these machines, and now it sews like a dream, at 1/4 the cost, including shipping costs to East Texas.

Description of Work: They repaired and tuned up our sewing machine- and had a quick turnaround. They also have a local New Braunfels pickup and dropoff location. Very convenient and saved us two drives to San Antonio!

Description of Work: I had not used my serger in years and when I tried to, the thread just wrapped around the fingers and the fabric would not advance. I was sure it needed a good cleaning, if it was even repairable. Grome's replaced the timing belt and said it didn't even need cleaning. I appreciated them not charging for something that wasn't need. They called with the estimate and then the unit was ready to pick up several days before they originally expected. It is a long drive over there for me, but well worth it and I will continue making the trek anytime I need work done on either sewing machine.

To fit our needs and budget they recommended the purchased of both a new machine and also a reconditioned one. Grome"s staff provided the best customer service we have ever experienced.
