He also promised "no payments till January," but as soon as we signed the contract, ADT took money out of the account. Then ADT said it wasn't their problem because he's an "independent contractor" (their language), and we needed to contact him about the money. He acted surprised that ADT took the money and promised a "rebate check" from his company (which consists of only him). Took TWO weeks of calling him about it before I finally got ADT to take my complaint. Magically, a check appeared (NOT the full amount owed us) under my front door.

I was scheduled to have the ADT Pulse system installed by ADT later date that unfortunately was down the road. The local company stated they were and authorized ADT dealer and could install the ADT Pulse system without paying for the equipment and also install the system right away. I tried to get out of the contract the same day and was told that this was not possible because the contract was sent off and I could not sign with another company as I was under contract. The company owner called and started yelling and arguing over the phone and being very boisterous, not professional at all. After the dust settled they came to install the system, not the ADT Pulse system that I requested in the beginning, some unresponsive GSC system that is very difficult to navigate. I have called nd also spoken to the owner in person and have received nothing but excuses on how the ADT Pulse system is unavailable to the local businesses and how ADT is still doing research on the system. If this was the case, then ADT would not advertise the system on television and other venues if it was not ready to be fielded. I spoke with ADT, the parent company and they state they cannot do anything about the situation because I am under contract with a local dealer. Right now I am stuck with this very slow to respond company until my contract is up and I will not recommend this company to anyone who asks me about my security company!
Description of Work: Installed a lesser GSC security system versus the ADT Pulse system promised while other companies were offering better equipment and services, and stated they would return to install the Pulse system. The ADT Pulse system is still not installed.
