Most professional contractor I have ever worked with from the site project managers to the office staff. Very understanding, prompt and quality work. Warranty is honored and truly a team of experienced professionals. I highly recommend them.

G. L. Hunt was awesome to deal with and their crew did an excellent job lifting the foundation of my home. In my case, the foundation was tilting and causing cracks in my walls and I was unable to open my back door. After the lift, most of the cracks sealed themselves up and the back door now opens freely. I am really pleased the the work of the G. L. Hunt crew. They were very professional and kept me informed on everything they were doing. I would highly recommend G. L. Hunt for any foundation lifting needs. Thank you!

Just wanted to let you know that this crew was GREAT. Alex and his crew made me feel like I was the only customer. They were so attentive, responsive to any concerns or questions I had and took immediate action if it was needed. Your company will be the only company I will recommend. It was professional and super friendly from the first meeting with Dustin, the Officer Personnel up to the last day with Alex and his crew saying thank you for my business. My neighbor even made comments how friendly the crew was and she was impressed at how great they cleaned up afterwards.

The repair went well but not quite an A. It will be years (hopefully) before I will be able to evaluate if the repair stabilized the foundation. The one issue I had was that there does not appear to be enough office staff. I was told several times that I would be contacted or receive things and had to follow up (sometimes multiple times) to receive what I asked for. I was told by one office staff member that they are so busy that they sometimes miss getting things done that they commit to.

It was seamless and everything went very well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing foundation repairs.

The salesman sold us on a job that was not what he sold. The job started a day late, took 1 1//2 days longer and almost went over the weekend with 11 holes surrounding my house. Most of the crew were very hard workers but a few liked to take long breaks, sitting in our outside rocking chairs leaving chicken bones for our dog to choke on. I was to told that when they left, I would be left with a foot high wall of dirt/concrete surrounding 3 sides of my house. The hoses that were dug in the patios were filled quickly at the very end of the job and dried uneven and look sloppy. I had to call 3 times to get someone to come back out to fix the cracks in the outside walls as promised by the salesman. I was told that there would be a job foreman visiting at least once a day and would keep me updated on the progress. I saw him once, the very last day to get the check for the job.

Very professional. Repairs done within the timeframe given. They were reasonably priced. I was ripped off by another company prior to hiring G L Hunt. Received a quote from another company for a ridiculous amount. They spent 3 hours in my home with a high pressure sales routine. An engineer referred me to G L Hunt. I am impressed with their work ethic and the quality of their work. So glad I hired them. I tell everybody about this company.

Went well except for patch up work afterwards. I do realize it was an added value but it could have been done a bit more professionally & neatly.

Everything went like clockwork. Starting with the survey and all the way through the closing of the pier sites. Cleanup was done.

I have hired GL Hunt twice in the past 3 years for foundation work. They have always been prompt, professional, and courteous. Hopefully I don’t have to hire them again. :) But, if I do need my foundation looked at I will definitely use GL Hunt.

The estimator was professional, polite and knowledgeable. They were able to do the job within two weeks of us accepting the bid. The crew that came out were hard working and very professional. They made sure we were completely happy with their completed job before they left. Mr. Lopez and his crew were very professional and very kind. He kept me informed as to where they were in the job and periodically had me come out and inspect areas to make sure I approved of the work and clean up. His crew worked hard and continually until the job was done (Which I know was not easy as it had rained a lot the night before). The whole crew had very good attitudes. I say that because, they could have been grumbling or not happy about the conditions, but with all my interactions with them, they were smiling and had an upbeat attitude. Having foundation issues is not pleasant and is difficult as a home owner to go through. This work was done for my sister who is 70yrs old and disabledAda . They took 2 days to do the work they didn't even give the cement time to cure. They tore the Hardy Plank siding out all the way around, then told her if she didn't hire someone to put up metal flashing it would void her warranty. Me being a 57 yr old woman I did it for her. I crawl under the house every 3 months to take pictures to show how bad it is. I finally got them to send one of their guts out to see what they had done to my sisters house as he crawled under the house he kept saying this is not acceptable. He told us they would be back to fix it ASAP well next week will be 1 year. We call pretending to be someone else and ask questions such as even though it's been raining can you still do the work they say "of course" then we ask why they haven't they hang up on us.We hired an inspector $1200. to look at it he refused to go under the house sighting it looked too dangerous. Meanwhile my sisters house is now falling apart. I had to go under it to reattach the tub drain because it had shifted so bad. It moved one night so abruptly that a crack opened up in the kitchen wall it shot 1/2 the switch plate off into my arm and a window shattered. I truly believe they saw my sister as being physically impossible to look under the house to see what they had done. Basically G.L. Hunt charged my sister $15,000. to destroy her home.

Man & woman were nice but seemed not too sure of what they were doing. No real answers to questions. did not offer other work that could have been done.

The rep who inspected our home and did a thorough job. He saved us thousands of $$$$$ and headaches by informing us why we did NOT need the work done. It’s refreshing to get an honest opinion when it could have been profitable for his company

Mr. Farmer was polite, courteous, and very professional. He inspected our home, looking in every room for signs of foundation problems. At the end of the inspection, he told us we did not have foundation issues. The issues that prompted me to call, were only cosmetic. That was a major relief. We would highly recommend Chuck Farmer @ G.L. Hunt, at the San Antonio office.

Crew did a clean job with both foundation repair and drainage improvements surrounding the house. Parts of the house still didn't line up quite right, but that's to be expected of an older home. Came back a year and a half later with very significant settling - in retrospect I should have been more timely and gotten back within the 1-year warranty. The field man actually told us, mistakenly, that we were covered under warranty and then much later redacted the mistake, so we felt tossed around a little. He said he called numerous times to get in touch with us, but we've made multiple calls trying to arrange something with them. To G.L. Hunt: if you call a client, get voicemail and don't leave a message, it should be counted as good as not calling at all. A very detailed, timely and conscientious consumer may have no problems at all, but with our specific situation it was more work for us on such an expensive project than we would like. Thank you for your efforts on the house the first time around, but the follow-up care leaves us taking our business elsewhere in the future.

Despite apprehension and the amount of time it took, 7 days, I feel they did a great job. I initially dealt with Dustin and Taylor, Dustin for inspections and Taylor provided customer support answering every question I had and also alleviating any concerns throughout the entire process. This made a great foundation for trust, excuse the pun. Johnny was the site lead and communicated continually and was always available for any of my questions, consummate pro. Now work was completed 13 January and we noticed right away where we had issues that they'd been rectified by the leveling. I'll continue to engage with them to make sure I do my part to ensure all their hard work is taken care of. The process is not perfect, weather delays and such are to be expected, lots of dust in the house if they do internal piers, expect it, you're gonna have to do a lot of dusting and cleaning post work. I expected this because Johnny and I talked about it, great communication form everyone, thank you for outstanding work and attitude. Afterwards--Post plumbing test failed on sewer, they had company come out and we got that set up and completed. Expect plumbing work if you have a major shift, factor that into everything before having your foundation done, saves a lot of frustration after the fact. But again was info I got from plumber fiends and GL Hunt mentioned so feel like everything was kind of covered.

Second company that dropped the ball as far as contacting me. This company didn't even reply to the Angie's List message. After a few days tried to call office (9:30 a.m. on a Monday). No one answered the phone and no offer to leave voice mail. Wanted an estimate to level a pier and beam home in Austin area. Guess they have more business than they can handle....

GREAT! I didn't need any repair! So, I wasn't charged!

It went really well. I appreciated the open and honest conversation. The company presented several solutions in addition to discusssing the pros and cons with me about each. In the end with their help because of their honesty we decided to peruse the landscape regrade option which meant that they would not get a French drain job. I have come across few companies who will do what is right and in the best interest of a client at the expense of their own business but they did and it was a refreshing experience.

GL Hunt were prompt and efficient in everything they did for us, from scheduling to the actual execution of the agreed upon work. They have a team that have exceeded our expectations before and after the work was done on our house. One year after the work was done on our house we had some questions about the work done and the GL Hunt team was very responsive to our request and were able to go over the work that was done so that we could quickly move forward with a bigger remodeling project. I could not recommend a company more for the quality of their service.
