I have great respect for skilled tradesmen who know what they are doing. Shawn is a great plumber. He has worked on several projects for us, including swapping out tub/shower parts, fixing our bar faucet, setting several toilets, and adding new supply lines and a drain for a utility sink in the garage. Excellent work every time. He is hard working, attentive to detail, communicative, and he cleans up after. When scheduling new work, I ask for him specifically.

Great! Doug showed up and looked around my house to see where a gas valve could be installed along with a convenient place to put the key. Oh my goodness, things are never simple with a house! He had to crawl around under my house, which is very muddy because of all the rain we just had, but found my gas line and came up with a plan on how to install a valve along with a key. He also went over everything with me, which i loved because i learned some things about my house and understand what needs to be done. Clay, who was my point of contact on the phone was also very nice.

I had to wait until the following day for the plumber to come, but that was basically what I expected, particularly since this wasn't a big emergency. This was my first time to use this company, and I was very impressed by their professionalism - both on the phone and in person. There was more to unplugging the drain than I expected, but Dan quickly went to work on the stoppage, which was in the main drain far from the laundry room, and had the problem fixed within 20 minutes at most.

In the evening a filled out an appointment request on-line. The next morning I had a response with a confirmed appointment. And they ended up arriving early! The job was done well, and it was not a bait and switch. The price on Angie's List was what I was charged. Very pleased.

We had a wet spot in our garage that was previously fixed by a plumber but started leaking again. We called George Plumbing based on the good reviews and didn't get an estimate. Everyone we dealt with were extremely nice and helpful. He pulled the toilet and determined the seal wasn't fitting like it was supposed to so added another one to tighten the fit. Thankfully we haven't noticed any additional leaking so hopefully that was the problem. As much as I appreciate their expertise I wish I would've checked around and got estimates. $75 for every 1/2 hour cost us over $300 for a 2 hour job to add a seal.

Doug and Clay were terrific! Arrived on time, finished as predicted, put things right where I wanted. Price matched estimate. I'm very happy and will call again!

I had received 4 quotes and decided to go with George Plumbing Co Inc. I think they do good work. The only difficulty we had was that they had told me that I could use a tank water heater, and that I wasn't required to go with a tankless, but by the time the inspections occurred, it ended up being a requirement to have a tankless water heater. We reached a resolution, but it was after great effort on my part. It was a bit of a hiccup, but I did finally negotiate a resolution.

The service provided by George Plumbing was excellent. The appointment was scheduled quickly, they called 30 minutes before they came out, showed up on time and the plumber did a perfect job replacing a leaky outdoor faucet. I would definitely call them again for any future jobs.

Clay said it would be tomorrow before he could have a service man out, but an opening came about and Doug came out today. Did a thorough inspection and found the toilet valve needed replacing. One quick fix and a 90 day warranty, and problem solved. Will recommend George Plumbing again to anyone. Very happy.

I bought a special on Angie's list for a new Garbage Disposal to be installed; within hours after purchasing, I received a phone call wanting to know when they could come out. They were here the same day, installed the garbage disposal and even ended up fixing several of the original pipes to the house that were bad (only charged me for parts). The plumber was courtesy, friendly, allowed me to watch so I understood what he was doing and had no problem answering every question...which as a homeowner is very important to me. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

We had a problem in our guest bathroom. When you flush the toilet, you could hear gurgling in the bathtub. If you ran water in the bathtub, water would come out from under the toilet. We had two different plumbers come out for the same situation. One never even looked at the bathroom, and told us we had a crack in our septic pipe and needed to replace 5 feet of pipe, at a cost of $2300. I didn't buy it. The other also went directly to the septic. I still didn't buy it, because there is another bathroom and a washer that feeds to the same septic, and I had no problems with them. Then I called George Plumbing. The plumber came out, I explained all. He went right to work. After about 45 minutes, he said he was calling a helper, because he couldn't access the blockage using the route he had, and he needed help. The other worker showed up, and next I knew the guy was on the roof. He later explained to me that there was a vent pipe on the roof, and by tossing a small rock inside, he identified that it indeed was another access to the sewer pipe, as he heard the water when it landed. They augered from that pipe down for about 30 minutes. He also explained that since I had recently replaced the toilet, he hesitated to remove it, because being in a much older home, if he did, he would have to weld the flange and that would cost more, and since the toilet wasn't the problem, he didn't want me to incur that cost. Well the two guys, who I discovered were brothers, got the blockage free. He explained that he thought this would do the trick, but if I had any problems the work was warranteed for 90 days. Warranteed? Wow. He also explained that there might be a leak in the septic, because there was some dirt in the line, but he hadn't pulled any roots, so that was good, but we should prepare in the future, just in case. The pipes run under the foundation, so that's an ugly thought. But for now it's all working, we are careful about the amount of paper we send down, and I am happy. Very courteous and conscientious young guys. They know there stuff. And George plumbing is a small business with a long history, and I really like that. They will get all my plumbing jobs, and I will refer them to others, as long as they are around!

Provider was on time and communicated very well what was wrong and what needed to be done to repair problem. He came prepared with the parts needed so we didn't need to reschedule. The cost was below what I anticipated. I would definitely use this provider again. This has been the best experience with a plumber that I have ever had since moving into our house in 2001. Would highly recommend this provider.
