He told me about some pressure controlled faucets, and in order for him to determine if there was a leak, he'd have to fix that to make sure the pressure was okay. He replaced the sink and the faucet in the middle bathroom. He also capped the hot water heater. He never found the leak. When it came time for him to write the invoice, he sat in the truck for about 30 minutes, smoking. He was also 15 minutes late when he arrived in the morning, and didn't apologize. When I talked to George, I said his secretary was rude, his employee was late and sat in the truck for 30 minutes, and George told me they had won litigation for the time they had spent writing the invoice, but I disagree with him. It wasn't an honest effort to write the invoice and get out of there. He wasted a lot of time in the middle of my house and took his time. I feel like I was ripped off. They did reimburse me about $60.

They did great work and the install went well, I was just shocked when the price was given to us. I don't recall the exact price, but it was between $800-$900.

There were no problems. The job was simple and it was done correctly. All of my questions were answered.

They were very prompt and came the same day. He identified the problem as erosion in my pipes leading to a small hole. He suggested two ways to fix it. One way was to re-pipe the whole section, an estimate of $300 or to just replace the leaking elbow with a larger fitting for $150.00. I opted to just fix the leaking section. The job took longer than he expected. No problems arose. It took awhile for him to find all his supplies in his truck. He went over his estimate and billed me $257.00. Later that night we had another larger leak. I called him and he came early the next morning. He said that the pipe had failed because of erosion. He replaced a 2 inch section of copper pipe for $310.00. As of right now the system seems to be working. The problem is with the pricing and estimates. You can not give someone an estimate of $150.00 and charge them $567.00 and expect them to use you again. He was friendly and seemed to know a lot about plumbing and its history.

I have used them many times in the past to repair leaks in my kitchen and other plumbing related issues around the house. They are prompt and courteous. Their prices are reasonable, but they have gone up a bit over the years. I am always very pleased with their job.

They were excellent. They were very quick to respond, on task, and they had all the parts with them. They also looked at a number of problems around the house. I previously had a plumber come in and say they would have charge a couple hundred dollars to fix a drain upstairs but George was able to fix the clog in ten minutes.

They were unable to do the work since a previous client had, unbeknownst to them, used acid in a blocked line which then destroyed their camera lens and equipment. They referred me to another plumber and were very gracious.

They came very quickly, did the work and explained everything to me. The price was very reasonable, too.

Though it took a couple of days to get confirmation on the day/ time the plumbers would be at the house, once the time was confirmed they arrived on time, completing the two jobs within five hours.

He was professional and courteous. I would higher him again and recommend him to anyone.

The disposal jammed after grinding up most of a small glass bowl (half-dollar size) that had been knocked into the disposal. George Plumbing was the second company I called but will now be my first choice! Gary came out the same afternoon, unstuck the disposal and showed me how to unjam it if (when) it happens again. On the way out he asked if there was anything else he could do and I had him look at a toilet handle that had recently been replaced by another company but wasn't working properly - the handle wasn't on tight enough and the toilet ran until it was manually adjusted. Gary fixed that, too and the total bill was $30 less than the first company I called (who, in fact, installed the toilet handle.) I'm not looking forward to more plumbing problems, but I'm glad to know who call when they occur!

The work was done expertly by Shawn. He explained what he was doing/had done. After replacing the cut-off valves for my washing machine, he saw I had purchased replacement hoses for the washing machine and recommended that I get a better quality set of hoses, explaining why that was important. I appreciated that. Shawn worked neatly and left everything in tip-top shape. I expect to have more plumbing work as we are re-doing parts of our home, and I plan to call George Plumbing again. I did not ask for an estimate, however, I roughly expected to pay in the range of the bill I received.

I have used them several times in the past. This instance turned out to be a roofing problem. He was very nice and very helpful and told me what to say to the roofer. He even wrote a report to give to me so that I could talk to the roofer about it.

They used the handle and leaver that was purchased separately, and showed me how to change the pump.

Scheduled the appointment for between 10-10:30. At 10:45, I called to see if they were anywhere close. Barb (the dispatcher) said they were within 15 minutes. An hour later (no one called me back), I called again to find out if they were going to make it. Arrived over an hour late. The technician, Lee, did a good job and was pleasant to deal with. Barb was friendly & a little frazzled on an apparently "overbooked" day. The work performed and advice given was professional. However, no one ever apologized for being late, no one called to let me know what was going on, and they were not approachable about amending the final bill to take into consideration how late they were to the appointment. Which would not have been a big deal if someone would have just acknowledged the importance of wasting my valuable and billable time. Evidently, the customer's time is not a concern or a priority. If your time is not a concern, then these guys will foot the bill.

George Plumbing has been my plumber for so many years I can't pick a plumbing job they haven't done for me. Everything from finding a leak in the backyard to water heaters to finding new fittings for old toilets. Dependable and fair. George will take the time to answer questions. A couple of years ago when I was having a dispute with purchasers of my deceased Mother's house, he took the time to research 1977 San Antonio Plumbing Codes.

I was happy that he was able to find the problem so that it can be corrected.

They came out on time and removed the old heater efficiently, and with out any mess. They (Shawn & Mike), installed the new thermostat, and modified the opening for the new heater. They installed new heater and hooked up everything. After checking it out, it was fired up and more checks were done to make sure it was working correctly. Shawn explained the operation patiently and with great detail. He went over the paper work and everything that was done. They were very pleasant, efficient, timely and left absolutely no mess. I an very impressed! I would use them again.

Though the plumbers were about a half an hour late, with no call, but the work they performed made up for it. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use this company again.

He is very good and explains everything very well.....the whole staff is impressive, the woman who answers the phone is pleasant...overall good experience.

Very professional. They gave us a time they would be out and the office called to say they would be a little late because of a previous job running over. The office said they should be here within thirty minutes and they were here within thirty minutes. They were great. There were two technicians and they had the job done in thirty minutes. Haven't had any problems since and the work was done about a week ago.

DID A GREAT JOB, LEFT THE HOUSE CLEANER THAN WHEN THEY GOT THERE. HIGHLY RECOMEND.

The plumber was very professional, pricing seemed to be a little bit cheaper than other companies in the area. Huge browning points for the company calling to state, he was running about 10 mins behind due to truck problems. Really appreciated that.

Appts. were met on time. The plumber was very informative and explained all procedures. Maybe more than I needed.
