When you're talking to a plumber you're not having a very good day, but George Plumbing''s professionalism from the first phone call to job completed eased the pain. The company arrived in the time frame given. One hour and half later they were driving away with my old hot water heater, all valves, fittings, hoses were shinny new from the wall out. I was a little taken back by the dollar amount charged, but then again I'm not the one wrestling in and out a hot water heater. Good experience, I wouldn't hesitate using this company again.

Lee was very professional and explained the work that needed to be done to solve the water leaking problem. Fixed the valves and gave us good information on how to maintain them in the future.

They evaluated my Kenmore water softener and said that it could not be fixed.

i started to fix a leaky faucet and immediately broke the cut off valve. i had to throw a bucket under the break and shut off the water to the house. next i purchased two replacement valves and started the new repair( murphy). i then discovered that the valves were original with the house (35 yrs) and were soldered in place. this was not a job for me so i called George. George recognized that this was a job that couldnt wait( no water supply to house) and said he would add a stop to Doug's day. Doug arrived on time and recognized the difficulty of the job. he got right to work, cut the old valve off and installed the new parts i had purchased. he was very professional and finished a difficult job in a reasonable time. george made no additional charge for the same day urgent service.

Made an appt with George Plumbing for the afternoon of 11/6. Had a conflict with that time and they were very helpful in moving the appt. up to the morning. Mr. Doug Fielder (highly recommend) was the plumber who arrived to perform the service. He repaired the drip in the water softener loop in 30 minutes for a total charge of $87 after using the Angie's 10% off coupon. This saved me $273 from a quote I had from another company. If there were a higher category than an A, I would give it to George Plumbing.

It was good. They guy was very knowledgeable. They fixed everything very quickly. So far everything is OK. They were up-front with fees and were very professional. Overall the work was excellent.

When we decided to replace the gold-toned fixtures in our Master bath, we looked to Angie's List for a plumber, and picked George Plumbing. Our home was built in the early 1990's and the manufacturer of our original plumbing fixtures (Valley) was out of business, so we elected to update the valves/plumbing inside the walls to accept newer fixtures. The first thing that impressed me about George Plumbing was during the initial phone call. Clay Saliba, the General Manager, answered the phone and then spent time with me discussing the job, and gave me a "heads up" about a couple of areas of expense that I had not considered. In the weeks to come, Clay also helped me to review options for replacing Roman tub fixtures which were esconced in a surround of tile which was also discontinued. Of course. The plumber who came out to our house was Lee. In addition to being quite a likeable character, Lee is a very skilled and meticulous craftsman. When it was clear that we would need to remove tile in order to access some of the plumbing, Lee carefully cut along tiny grout lines, incredibly, sparing the tile for re-use. Because the tile, which is throughout the bath's wet areas, was out of production, we were prepared for the expense and aggravation of yet another project. Disaster averted! We had a handyman come in later to give us an estimate for putting the section of tile back in, and he leaned down and admired Lee's work like it was museum art. He said you don't usually see such care taken, usually there is a big hole and broken tile; he said that it made his re-tile job easy. The total of all of the work was more money than we had anticipated at the outset. However, we are pleased with our choice of George Plumbing. Not only did we feel well informed before the work began, but we also appreciate what we saved by hiring a company with such high standards. We will be happy to call Clay and Lee for our plumbing needs in the future.

Original phone call was handled quite well. Was told that the softener and installation would be a flat rate of $2,000.00. When the work crew arrived and assessed my situation and due to the configuration of the house and where the softener/hose bibs had to be located,, they said they didn't think they could do it and a call was made by them to their supervisor to discuss. I had to explain that I am not in the habit of staying home from work to have contractors show up and re-neg on their promise. After further consultation with their supervisor, they used some "creative alternatives" to run pipes through my guest room closet and exhaust pipe up over the garage ceiling and out a front wall. The crew lead was professional and well versed. He did have one assistant who I heard making disparaging remarks about their company and some customers. The crew lead heard this as well and complained to his supervisor via phone about being provided help that was not "customer appropriate." Over-all everything got done that needed to be done, but not without effort on my part. It seemed as if the crew lead was not given enough authority to make decisions and had to ask permission for everything.

George Plumbing was recommended by another plumber that was not capable of doing this job. George plumbing sent two plumbers that worked all day to install a new cast iron tub. The previous owners or our home had botched a repair job to the drain so they had to repair that too. They were friendly and very honest during the process. The price that was quoted was the price paid. I will definitely call George Plumbing for any future plumbing work!

Great! Lee showed up within the 2 hour window promised, diagnosed the problem to be a leak in the valve (caused by scoring) and replaced the part. He worked efficiently and appreciated our business!

Being out of town, they squeezed me in and fixed it the same day. They then took the payment over the phone so I didn't have to worry about the faucet or payment!

Very well. Everything was done efficiently and cleanly. He even replaced a PVC fitting and I did not see a charge for it. Also gave me tips on how to make improvements both in the set up and the use on to avoid issues in the future. Didn't know you could improve a shower head by soaking it in vinegar... That sort of thing keeps me coming back and telling folks.

It went perfect. They went over details of the plumbing and went about installing the softner. I had not problems and no leaks. I have a older home and they specialize in older homes. I will say the experience was great. I will use them again.

I love them. My favorite thing about them is their integrity and their honesty. Their prices are not inexpensive but you get what you paid for. I mean plumbing is gonna cost a lot of money but I'll give you this example – I have a water filtration system put in and a water softener put in by them and so before they put it in I went to a competitor who had this big nice thing saying that they could do it for less money. If I had it done with the competitor it would probably be another $1500 so their prices may not be inexpensive but compare to the similar competitors they're extremely reasonable.

Doug was very prompt, thorough, honest and responded to all my questions. Will be calling George Plumbing for any future plumbing issues for sure.

I felt the prices quoted were high. The prices provided for the replacement garbage disposal were retail prices and the labor costs associated with the installation also went up as the price of the disposal increased.

The date is approximate, as I don't remember the exact date. We were scheduled from 3 to 5, but due to an earlier job Lee arrived around 5:15. He called several times to let us know he would be late. While replacing the faucet he saw that the soap dispenser wasn't seated properly causing it to leak, so he repaired that as well after asking permission. I just wish I had remembered to give him the coupon so I could have saved a few dollars. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

Close to a year ago I had a plumber quote me a price that was much too high for the job I needed done. I looked to Angie?s List to find a good company. The company I found charged me 72 dollars, when the first company I spoke with was asking for 500 dollars! George's Plumbing came in, fixed the problem, and fixed it right. They didn?t overcharge me, they didn?t upsell me, and I couldn?t be happier. These days, saving money is important. George?s Plumbing, and the plumber they sent out, Doug Fielder, helped me do just that.

The guy did a really good job and I learned a lot about plumbing. It was a really windy Monday and somehow I got blown-out. I couldn't restart it as my wife was having a problem getting the fireplace to light so I thought maybe we had a gas supply issue and that's why we called him out. We didn't though and he checked our hot water heater and got it back on without a problem. Then he reviewed a bunch of other stuff I had and I was really happy with that. I fixed some pipes on a water-softener and I told him I don't know where I have soft-water in the house and he showed me how to check and we reviewed the other hot water heater for potential problems. I had a drain pipe that was going up over a beam and then down it, which I thought was weird, and he told me how to fix it. It was a great experience and I'll definitely use them again. They got out there immediately and I feel I've finally found a plumber.
