 + -1 moreAfter another company had broken a leg on my love seat, I called Furniture Medic to come repair it. They did a fantastic job! Nolan and Raymond were the guys who did the repair, and they were very friendly to work with and were punctual. They kept communication open with me during the process. If I ever need any other work done, I'll call them immediately. I would highly recommend them.

 + -1 moreI was very nervous as I had had another company that continued to give me the run around. Furniture medic came out and explained exactly what they were going to do. They took the doors and drawers to the shop and painted, then came out and painted the cabinets. Everything went beautifully and I am thrilled with the results. They were professional and I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!
Description of Work: We had a water leak in the downstairs bathroom that had damaged the kitchen cabinets on the other side. The cabinets couldn't be matched and needed to be repainted.

 + -1 moreWe were pleasantly surprised. As stated above we expected to lose a full 1/4" off of our table. 7 of the 8 pieces were repaired onsite over the course of a day. The men were incredibly professional and laid down cloth and plastic to protect our house during repair. The table that had to be taken to the shop for repair was gone for two weeks, but when it was returned, my wife and I were amazed. Not only could we not find ANY sign of the scratches, but we also did not lose the expected 1/4" off the top. There was no noticeable loss from any sanding or anything. I would recommend this place again to anyone and was surprised to see the negative feedbacks on this company.
Description of Work: During a move, several of our antique pieces were damaged by the moving company. We had 8 pieces in various states of major scratches and chips and such. Our pride and joy, an early 1800's grand table measuring 4' x 12' had two deep scratches on the top that we were worried could not be repaired without sanding off close to a full 1/4" off the whole top of the table. Once called, Furniture Medic responded within a couple days and took only the table with them.

 + -1 moreTerrible! Most of the story is told above. I ended up paying for a product I was less than satisfied in just to get the men out of my house. I was alone with my daughters and was told that if I didn't pay them, they would take the furniture. I felt threatened and should have called the police, but just wrote the check to get them to leave.
Description of Work: I sent three pieces of antique furniture to be repaired. The crown off the top of a wardrobe...in pieces and the pieces were returned with dried wood glue showing in all joints. A china cabinet that was to have it's legs replaced was returned and now stands crooked..leans left..a quarter bubble off level. Another china cabinet was returned with only one of the three repairs completed. When I pointed out the error, the owner said I could return it to them for further repair. Mind you, the furniture had been with this company for two months already. I refused to send it back and one of the deliverymen fixed one repair on the spot. It took another week before the hardware for the china cabinet..also in the original estimate, to be delivered. Also, the furniture was filthy. It was covered in dirt and fingerprints. The owner offered to take $50 off my estimated cost. If I didn't pay, he said he would take the furniture from my house!

 + -1 morehad a generational antique rocker repaired and a new cushion put on the rocker. The wood repair work was not completed and had to be touched up when I picked it up. It is still not completed as promised. The screws were not countersunk and are the wrong color. The cushion is also too high and the rocker was full of glue. I would not use this place again.

 + -1 moreOver two months ago I took my mom's 45 year old sofa to be repaired. The owner told me it would take two weeks to get it fixed. After one month I called and they had not started on it. After 2 months, I called again and it still had not been fixed. The receptionist told me that it would definitely be ready in a week. I called again on 11/18 and they had not started it. I told the receptionist to forget about it and throw it away. Today I called to confirm and I told them that I belonged to Angies List.
Description of Work: I cancelled and told Cindy the receptionist to throw the sofa away.
