 + -1 moreCarol picked up the furniture and did the restoration in her shop. I "visite" the chairs once to ensure that I liked the fabric after it had been put on one of the chairs. The work was done in a timely fashion. The chairs were rickety when Carol got them but were made whole - we have used them on an almost daily basis since. The cabinet was somewhat complex, with drawers that needed to be made functional, new, appropriate pulls added, etc. the top was badly damaged and made to look like new.
Description of Work: Restored antique dining cabinet; reupholstered and restored six antique chairs

 + -1 moreCarol originally came to our house because the piano that we had bought new had a noticeable scratch on it. This repair work was covered by the piano store. While she was there, we asked her to do some additional touch-up work on a couple of other pieces of furniture. She did a marvelous job covering up the imperfections. She polished up the wood and made them look almost new.
Description of Work: Repaired scratch on cherry-finish piano. Also covered up deep scratches, chips, and water marks on breakfast table and coffee table.
