Fresh Air Restoration & Cleaning

I called Fresh Air on 1/5/15 due to mold in my laundry room. I was able to get an appointment for an estimate on 6 Jan. They arrive on time and provided an estimate based on the visible damage; additionally, they also went out of their way to make sure the mold had not moved to other areas of the house. Further, they were able to have a team of technicians conduct the work that afternoon. Mike, Anthony and Fernando did a great job identifying the problem and making the repair on the spot. In fact, Anthony and Fernando recognized that the dryer exhaust could be clogged. The clog was so bad they found a birds nest and dead birds in the line ? they saved me from have a dyer fire!!! Great customer service and expert workmanship - 100% recommend this company!

Fresh Air removed rotten wood, shower tiles, shower pan, drywall, patches of carpet. They identified all areas where mold had traveled and treated all the wood. They sealed the bathroom area and left equipment overnight to ensure the drying process was complete. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the care they took in the removal of materials. They took extra precautions to ensure other areas of the bathroom would not get damaged. They left the area EXTREMELY neat, even the sealing of the area was so professional and neat. I have to say that I expected the price to be sky high...and after seeing the service we received for $1,200, I am surprised my bill wasn't higher. I found Fresh Air on Angie's List as I was clueless as who to call and/or where to go. (I'm still waiting for a call back from my insurance contact.. ha!) I would highly recommend Fresh Air to anyone that goes through a similar situation!!

Did not go at all. No services were performed.

I noticed mold on a wall outside an understairs closet where the hot water heater is located. I then went to Angies List to find a mold remediator. Fresh Air had stellar reviews and I called them on a Tuesday and they started the job on a Thursday. I don't know if you've ever had mold removed, but it is an interesting process. Fresh Air was able to put up the containment plastic is such a way that we were still able to access the upstairs and our kitchen- meaning we didn't have to move out :) The first day the areas were contained (family room side and the hall side -stairs are in the middle), the air scrubber started, and they started removing the mold (i.e. my walls), the water heater, and the commode in the adjacent bathroom. This bath shared a wall with the understairs closet and the mold came in there as well. Second day they cleaned with moldicide and set up the dehumidifiers which needed to run for three days to completely dry out everything-especially the studs. Next, with the air scrubber running agin, they lightly sanded the studs and encapsulated all the exposed wood. After this was finished, all the surfaces were wiped down with a disinfectant solution-three times. Then the plastic came down and our home was ours again. Chris Moreno was the operations manager who came to the house to a**** the situation and provided a line item itemized bid. Chris led the crew (Sonny and Fernando) and they all did a great job. They answered all my questions and concerns and were very patient with me (I'm a worrier). The mold is gone, the cleanup was remarkable-when the plastic came down the areas were spotless! They did exactly what they said they would and when they said they would. They made an upsetting situation better and I always felt confident that they would be able to fix my home for me. They even found the leak! I would heartily recommend Fresh Air. They are professional, skilled, and do exactly what they say they will.

It went very well. They were professional and timely. The quality of work was good.

2 Air conditioning systems. We have an older home. They gave some good advice for upgrading the system. Would have liked a better cleaning of the basic system. |They emailed that they would contact us between Tues -Thurs. and still had not contacted us by Thurs. afternoon. I called them to set up the appt. They did not ask for directions and were 1 1/2 hours late showing up.

Everything was great! Chris had been to my house prior to my purchase of the Big Deal and demonstrated why the air ducts needed to be cleaned. The two men who came to do the work, Anthony and Raymond, both did quality and thorough jobs, and I appreciated that they showed me the results of the cleaning. Ultimately, they did a great job, and I would recommend them to others.

Problem resolved, very efficient would use again

They were good. I would give them an A. They did their job very quickly. They were quick and efficient and they did what that are going to do. I did not need anything extra from them so they just came and did their job well and they left. It was great.

Service went well. They took there time. Preped cleaning areas to keep them from getting dirty.

The only problem we had was that the technician that came out didn't know about the Big Deal coupon that I paid for. He called the company and got it straightened out quickly. They did a good job and were quick.

Okay, however, I expected to have less dust when the job was completed. Also the price kept going higher.

They arrived on time and everything went well. I forgot to have the dryer vent cleaned. I think that was included in the deal. Service performed was good.

The provider arrived on time. They dropped covers on all areas that might catch excess dust from the cleaning process. The proceeded to remove all covers and clean them. Within about one hour they were done with the cleaning. Wonderful! (My house is only approx. 1500 sq. ft.) No excess dust could be seen on any furniture or walls. All covers were re-installed correctly, with exception of one that was upside down. No big deal, took me less than 5 minutes to rotate it. Sanitizing went well, left for one hour as prescribed by the provider. Came back to a cleaner/fresher home! They also gave me some good tips regarding my carpeting and its relation to excessive dust.

Two men came to the house within 15 minutes of the appointment time. They used an oversize vacuum machine and a long flexible hose to clean 14 of 15 vents in the house and the clothes dryer vent (for an additional charge). The cleaning went quickly, but the dust/debris removal from the vents seemed to be haphazard and after they were finished I could still see dust inside the runs in 2 of the vents. There was also debris and dust dropped on surfaces under the vent locations which was not cleaned up. There were six 1" streaks of an oil based product on the carpet in a bedroom where the men had walked and rolled the machine. The next day I noticed dust on serveral pieces of wood furniture that had been cleaned by my cleaning service the day before the vent cleaning. Overall, I would give this cleaning a B rating, especially compared to the truck mounted services I have used in other parts of the country. It was my mistake to not ask the company about the type of vacuum system they used.

They didn't just sweep the ducts - they addressed the components over which air passes. Very professional people!

We bought the big deal for air duct and vent cleaning. When we purchased our house, the air ducts were replaced, so we did not need the deal we had purchased. Fresh Air allowed us to apply the big deal to carpet cleaning. They cleaned all of the carpet, arrived on time and performed their work in a professional manner.

Scheduled Saturday (!) appointment with Alex Nero ((210) 349-1500, alex@freshairsa.com) Fresh Air technicians arrived right on time & went straight to work. I pointed out all the ducts throughout bedroom, two bathrooms, office, dining room, living room, kitchen & laundry room. While one tech removed the grates, the other set up the cleaning gear. They covered all 'at risk' areas with plastic sheeting & did the job. After the cleaning they put everything back in place & cleaned up the small mess they made. Both efficient & professional. A job well done.

I was very happy with the service provided. I took two small rugs to their offices. They finished the work within the time estimated.

The two men who showed up were very polite and professional. However, they forgot a piece of equipment which delayed the service from being completed in a timely manner. The cost of the service was $239.00 not $279.00 as I originally reported.

Very pleased. Professional service. On time for appointments and communicated well. It is an expensive service but worthwhile to assure that your remediation is completed properly.

I was very satisfied with Alex, who did the estimate and all of the genetlemen who actually did the work. Very professional and helpful with providing understanding about mold and what should be done. Could not be happier. Will be calling again when necessary.

The service was excellent. I saw the coupon on Angie's List for $239 dollars valued at $600 I jump on that bargain right away. Paid for the service and phoned the company to set up an appointment. Spoke to someone at the company who explained the process and when the service people arrived they did just what was explained.
