Well. The only disappointment was that repair of the sheet rock was not included in the job. I have had to find another contractor to do that work. It would have been much better if the entire job could have been completed at the same time.

I am listing bullet points for my review and also including a copy of the email I sent to the business. ANGIE'S LIST FEEDBACK • Called Fresh Air, based on Angie’s List reviews on August 17, 2016. Rep on phone advised Alex would call back later to schedule an appointment. • Alex called back, asked what I needed, we discussed and he inquired how I heard about them. He asked that I purchase the special they had on Angie’s list. He said once he received this, he would move forward with my appointment. The special was $134.99 for Water Damage and Mold Inspection Service. The service included visual inspection of customer indicated water damaged and/or mold odor areas using FLIR Thermographic scan and moisture meter to identify areas of high moisture. **I never saw the scan or meter used. • We scheduled an appointment for Thursday, August 18, 2016 between 10am-11am. • Called Fresh Air at 12pm on Thursday and there was no answer. Alex was a no show and no call. • Received call from Alex on Friday, August 19, 2016 and was very apologetic for missing appointment. Advised there was an unexpected situation and the office did not open. We rescheduled for Monday, August 22, 2016 between 12pm-1pm. • Chris arrived on Monday, I reviewed my concerns and he looked at my main AC vent and return, looked inside the AC closet and stated he did not see any mold, rather mildew. He stated he could clean all of the duct work, vents, return vent for $179.99. He stated there was a hole in one of the AC ducts and he would fix this along with fixing any additional silver tape that needed to be replaced at no additional charge. He took pictures of the AC and main AC vent. He advised he would also spray the liner of the AC with a sealant (Fosters 40/20) to prevent future mildew. This would cost $75. I asked if all of the visible mildew would be cleaned from the vents and the openings on the wall/edges and he said this was part of the process of cleaning the ducts/vents. I agreed on the prices/services stated and we scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2016 at 9am. • Brandon and Mike arrived on Friday, August 26, 2016 a little after 9am. They came in, looked at the vents, advised they would be removing all of the vents and cleaning them. They would bring in their Hepa Vac and cleaning wand and vacuum all of the duct work as well as clean all of the debris. • I asked if they were going to fix the hole in the duct by the AC and if they were going to use the sealant on the AC (Fosters 40/20) and they stated they were not aware of either. I told them Chris had taken pictures and said this would be done. I also asked if they were going to clean the return vent as this had not been removed originally. They said yes and removed it. **Mike stated he was going to add some silver tape inside the AC closet and stated he was not going to charge me because this is usually an additional charge. ***Per Chris, this was supposed to be part of the cleaning they were going to do. • Once they were almost done vacuuming the vents, they asked me to look into the vent in my bedroom. I looked at it and it appeared to look much better; however, they were not done. • They did not have any type of covering on the Hepa Vac. They held it in place over the vent opening while using the suction wand with the other. There were no coverings on the floor or furniture to protect them from the debris flying everywhere. It was a mess. I also did not notice or see them using anything to clean the wall/edges of any visible mildew/debris. • They brought in a Shop Vac and somewhat used this inside the return vent. Mike was going to pack up the Shop Vac and take it back out; however, Brandon stopped him and advised he still needed it to vacuum up the debris on the floor. He somewhat vacuumed up. • In the interim, Mike brought in a 5-gallon bucket of “paint” and proceeded to “paint” a few areas inside of the AC closet. I asked if he was going to seal the AC liner, inside the main AC vent and he reopened the paint gallon and appeared to add some inside the vent. I’m assuming this paint was the Fosters 40/20 sealant Chris had discussed; however, he said it was a spray and this was paint. • By the time they were “done”, I was so irritated and frustrated with the mess on my floors, paint in my kitchen sink, specs on my carpet and debris all over my beds, furniture and floor, I paid them and said thank you. • I spent the rest of the day washing all of the linens and towels and cleaning up everything else. • Friday night, I noticed a rattling in the AC vents in both bedrooms. I was too tired to determine the cause so I let it go for the night. • I remembered on Saturday night, when I heard the noises again and I removed the 2 vents to check for the cause. The outcome of what I saw is detailed in the email I sent to Alex on Saturday night, August 27, 2016 which I am also including. I also took pictures of what I saw when I removed the vents. • I decided I would give his business the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to rectify the issues before I posted my review. • As of today, Friday September 2, 2016 I have not heard from him. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with this service and the money I paid for services that were not rendered as stated. I paid a total of $411.01. COPY OF EMAIL SENT TO OWNER Alex- I received service from your business on Friday, August 26, 2016. I am about to post my service comments on Angie's list; however I decided to give your business an opportunity to review the work of your employees. Because of rattling noises coming from 2 vents last night, I had to remove the vents to determine where the noise was coming from. To my dismay, not only did I find the cause of the noise I also saw the incompleteness of the work. I have paid your business a total of $411.01 for which I am at a loss as to what I paid for. Chris advised I would get the ducts cleaned, including the return vent, he would fix a hole in the duct work on my AC, would replace any torn or missing silver tape, and spray the liner with a sealer he called Fosters 40/20. Your employees were not aware of any of this information outside of the vent cleaning. They did not use anything to cover the floor or furniture to prevent debris from covering them. They barely used a shop vac at the end of it all. The hepa vac hose or whatever it's called was held in place with their hands while they used the wand with the other. No overall cover over the vent opening or anything to prevent a mess. They left a mess and I was to upset to tell them anything other than thank you. Meanwhile, I spent the rest of the day washing all linens, towels, etc. from each room. I am extremely disappointed with the "cleaning". It is definitely not worth $400 and I have pictures of the 2 vents I removed. I'm afraid to remove the others for fear of the same. I will wait to hear from you before I post my review. Thank you,

Recently I called Fresh Air back. It has been about 8 months since they were here. I had another mold issue. Chris arrived promptly and surveyed the problem. He personally took two vents home with him to repair them. over the weekend That is personal service. The technicians arrived when scheduled, and the work was done promptly and well. I highly recommend Fresh Air and will definitely use them for any related problem.

On 1-30-15 the ducts were all cleaned,and on 2-10-15 UV lights were installed, all in the attic, at a TOTAL (reasonable, I thought)I price for both services of $2038.98: $838.98 for ducts, 1299.00 for UV lights and installation. In Feb. 2016 I discovered signs of a return of mold, called Fresh Air. Chris Moreno, operations mgr., came out, went all through the attic, said it needed to be done again, wasn't done right at beginning, and would do not only what had been done before, but also the master bedroom and bath side of the house, which I didn't know needed cleaning and wasn't done last year. I said I would pay for the master bedroom suite, but Mr. Moreno said absolutely not. They returned on 3-11-16 and cleaned a lot more thoroughly, putting solutions to kill the mold on the ducts, a much better job than before. I found the whole experience with Mr. Moreno refreshing: He readily said that it was not done right to begin with, redid what had not been done to his satisfaction and additionally did the rest of the house, NO CHARGE. And I might add that he was very cheerful about doing so. He profoundly apologized. 9. Overall experience was excellent. 10. See above. 11. Quality the 2nd time was excellent. 12. Responsiveness was excellent. 13. Punctuality was right-on. 14. Professionalism was excellent. 15. Will use them in the future without a second thought. 16. They showed up on time and explained to us what was wrong with the a/c and what needed to be done to bring up to standards. We received a written report so we could forward that on to the seller. The repair price was reasonable and the repairs were done by them, because the seller hired them.

It went good they were quick and professional. They did forget to put one of the vent covers back on. Still that is not so bad.

Chris came out punctually and gave us a quote to cut out two panels that mold (not black mold, but still mold) had grown on near our water heater and water softener. He explained that he'd have to move the water heater and softener out of the way, cut the panels out and replace them with sheetrock. He also explained that he'd put a plastic barrier up and filter the air w/ a machine with a HEPA filter. As promised, he and two assistants arrived a few days later as scheduled and performed the work. Chris also noticed that the door frame (there's a door to the water heater closet) had mold on it and with my wife's permission (I wasn't there), removed the frame. The work looks good and now I have peace of mind the mold is gone.

superb job -- fast and professional -- clear information, quick return, only problem was the workers had not be informed about the payment to Angie's List -- communication problem, I believe -- company and Angie's List need to get the problem corrected, but the work done was excellent

Chris came out the same day we called. Not only did he do a thorough evaluation of our situation (which does not call for any service from his company), but he also spent a good amount of time advising us on a totally unrelated problem with our floors. And accepted no payment for any of it! What a great guy and great experience!

I was out of town. I spoke to Chris several times on the phone. He always seeed really nice, so I don't know what happened.

Air duct cleaning great. Dry wall removal great. Not sure about treatment of wood, some dark areas now appearing. Clean up ok.

On Friday the 19th of June, I called in the morning to get the price of this service because we want to buy a house with a questionable mold growth in the garage. The secretary (or whatever she was) took my information and transferred me to one of their workers (should have taken names but I wasn't sure I was still going to be using their service). The guy she transferred me to gave me the prices but I did not have a pen and asked him to email me the information. He said he would but they were busy and would do it by the end of the day. He didn't. I have a lot of patience and didn't worry about it. It could have slipped his mind. I don't have a problem with that. It happens. My wife and I decided we were going to hire someone by Saturday the 20th and decided to use their services. I called and spoke to the same secretary who seemed, preoccupied, for lack of better words. Considering the first and second day she lacks friendly phone skills. In any event, she said she was going to have to call back and made sure they still had my information (When I called I mentioned I called the day before; I was NOT being rude; and asked if I could set up the inspection). They never called back. Now, I understand businesses get busy and they may do an excellent job when they do remediation and inspections, but when a money making business fails to respond to a potential customer twice, I just have to say they need to do some business remediation and get back on track with their customers.

Fresh Air in San Antonio is without a doubt the most responsive business it has been my pleasure to deal with through some difficulties with my new home build. Unlike other trades they show up when they say they will do the job they say they will do, then clean up after themselves before they leave. Aren't we all sick of being tied to one spot between the hours of 8-12 or 1-5? Fresh Air actually sets appointments for a specific time, then keeps them! When I had water dripping from my ceiling due to a broken A/C line, they came right away, and showed me the extent of the damage using an infrared camera!. They made accurate predictions of the time involved to do the repair, then followed through with the entire process start to final clean up. Of particular note was Mike Fraley, who came to do the final cleanup of my carpets, and made sure I could contact them again with any issues.

Mike and Fernando were great workers, explaining the process and answering all the questions I had. Very considerate, they covered all the furniture with plastic and afterward vacuumed for any stray dirt or dust. I joked that I got a free vacuum cleaning out of the deal. I felt very confident, and relieved, that I had a clean air system after they finished. I would certainly use Fresh Air again. Susana MacCormack

Great service. Friendly, helpful. On time, very pleased. Inspected for mold in bathroom and walls. Didn't get it removed since bathroom is being remodeled anyways. Free estimate. Will use again if needed

They were good. We had a leak and developed mold. They had to cut sheetrock out as we had a lot of mold. They did their job well.
