Description of Work: Mold remediation. They found all the mold and removed it completely. They also gave me a written report that said what they did and that the home was mold free. I was very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism and how well everything was explained.

Description of Work: Cleaned air ducts and dryer vent. Did a good job and left no mess behind. My only complaint is if I lived in San Antonio the price would have been $17.99 per vent but because I was in Pleasanton the price was $25.00 per vent. I had 11 vents so the extra charge amounted to $77.11-seems excessive. I would much prefer what seems to be a standard trip charge-once they are here a charge for each vent seems wrong. I would definitely use them again, I've used them for mold remediation and for the duct cleaning.

Description of Work: After a groupon experience for duct cleaning left us with no work and statements that mold was growing throughout our system, we used Angie's list to find Fresh Air. Not only was the quote by the company $400 less than quoted by the groupon company for services, Fresh Air was more thorough with the work provided. They corrected the prior claim stating there was mold on our unit, but not in our system. They cleaned the A/C unit, coils, drip pan, drain line and interior; they cleaned our vents thoroughly, and they removed a toilet and a large portion of molded drywall in one of our bathrooms to boot so that I could get a drywall professional to replace it. Very satisfied with the professionalism and courtesy of the workers.

Description of Work: It went fine. Overall I didn't feel that having the ducts cleaned was worth the $350 I spent, much less $500 (that it would have been without the deal). The guys were very nice and professional, but I'm left wondering what makes that a $500 job??

That is a very good question. Unfortunately cleaning air ducts is not like cleaning carpets or polishing wood floors due to the fact that you can not see the results as you can in other types of cleaning. There are some bait and switch companies that put on a horse and pony show but do not really clean your air ducts. The price you pay for Fresh Air to do the job is professional industry standard pricing. This encompasses have a State Licensed company with trained employees ( not sub contractors), using the proper equipment that does not damage your air ducts, using the proper EPA registered chemicals and being fully insured and bonded for peace of mind while on your property.
