I had an appt for 10AM and at 9:30 I was called to say that the maid would be late and to anticipate her at 11:30. The reason was not clear, something about a late night cleaning another house (??). I did however, appreciate the call. The maid was dropped off at 11:30, and she did not speak any english. I, fortunately, spoke some spanish so I was able to communicate a bit with her. I initially chose Freddy's because they had a very thorough checklist of things that were included in the deep clean and the owner additionally asked me what my focus areas were in the house. Unfortunately the maid was not nearly as thorough...I spent the entire time going behind the maid in each room and asking her to clean again. She left tables unwiped, the master shower unscrubbed and floors unvacuumed initially. She did clean them, but only after I asked her (in my broken spanish) to do so. Additionally, she did not do any of the "deep cleaning" items that were on the checklist (i.e. clean out refrigerator, wipe down base boards, dust fan blades, mop all tile floors). At the end of the 6 hours, my house was no cleaner than I could have done myself. I was also tired of persistently asking the maid to redo areas that I just wanted her out of my house so I could do it myself. The experience was a complete waste of $160. I will not be calling again.
Description of Work: I hired Freddy's for an initial "Deep Cleaning Package" with plans to do a maintenace cleaning every 2 weeks. 1 maid came over for a full house deep clean.

I was running late and she kindly waited. I purchased their Complete Clean package for $130. When I came home, the house smelled wonderful and looked spotless. This young lady had worked for 5 hours without stopping. I checked everything and paid her. My house was so beautiful, I wanted to cry. Although it is a neat house and we keep it picked up, it hasn't been this clean since we moved in. Sarah had even moved all the furniture in Mother's front room and vacuumed under it. Blinds and window sills and baseboards were shining. Bathrooms looked great. They did everything they told me they would do and I was very, very pleased, and grateful. I cleaned houses while in college and I know how hard it is. Since the entry above, I have used Freddy's several more times. They are very polite on the phone and still write down your preferences. They try very hard to please. However, each time they've come I find that something has been left out. Once, it was my entire kitchen floor--I looked under a rug when I got home, and "stuff" fell out of it. Another time, they didn't clean the office. The glass doors were closed so I'm thinking that was the reason. However, they are very nice people. One time, they came to clean and I hadn't left he money. So they drove out to my house and picked it up. I appreciated that. But since so many areas had been skipped, they DID offer to do a free cleaning for me which I really appreciated. They were scheduled to come last Friday, Nov. 19, but didn't show up. I called the office and was told they had me down for Saturday. I've never had them come on Saturday. Nevertheless,I tried to accommodate a Saturday cleaning but ended up calling and canceling because of family events. I rescheduled for 1:00 today, Monday, Nov. 22. No no one ever showed up. When I called at 1:15 to verify that someone was coming (I had picked up all the rugs, changed sheets, and gotten everything ready) I was told that someone would be here any minute. At 2:00 I called again and the message said the "customer was not available." I called and called and called all afternoon. Same message. I'm thinking they must have turned their phone off. I am forced to use someone else at this time.
Description of Work: I contacted Freddy's about cleaning my house. They took down all of my information over the phone, including preferences. She said they will bring their own supplies and equipment. A young lady named Sarah came to my house at 11:40 today and worked until almost 5:00 cleaning my house. She did a beautiful job.
