+ -1 moreHe was professional and courteous. He listed to what we had to say and tweaked and re-tweaked the design. He didn't even scold us for repeatedly changing our minds (as people often do) once they see something on tv that looks better than what we were doing on paper. It all worded out. We got the plans, we spent more than we originally wanted, but I believe it is all worth it for the amount of detail and time he put into it. YES YES YES I would recommend and hire him again.
Description of Work: we hired him to design our new house on an extreme budget. we were building on our own lot. The lot was paid for but as a result it limited our funds as to how much we can spend on the house. He just finished with the design which took several weeks as we ironed out the finer details. We came to Paul Franklin from a designer that didn't listed and only wanted to draw what he wanted us to have. we said no to that and wanted the next level of expertise that is why we decided to play it safe and go with an actual architect. So we did.

+ -1 morePaul met with us several times to complete the plans. He had some really great ideas that were much more innovative than we could have thought of. We are not designers! Ideas for where to place outlets, doors and considered we have grandchildren and pets that would use the patio, too. We saved the plans and chose not to build it at this time.
Description of Work: Drew detailed plans for a screened-in patio. Beautiful attention to OUR wants to make it both functional and attractive.
