Floor Source

Our main issue with them was communication. They never returned phone calls and would set up appointments and just not show up. They would literally tell us they were on their way and on a certain road and then never come. When we would call them back they wouldn't answer. Then, they would just show up unannounced. They would put the blame on each other and no one would ever take responsibility or ownership. We had a problem with part of the kitchen tile and of course they would give us the same run around again and again. Our corner kitchen problem has still not been fixed.

Salespeople were great, excellent price, materials. Hardwood floor went in perfectly, looks great. Carpet guy was unavailable so they sent a backup carpet installer. I had paid for the highest quality vrgin material pad with moisture barrier and the installer showed up with the cheapest 3/8" mixed material pad. He argued with me that the pad was fine and went about installing it. I let the store know what was going on and by the time they convinced him to stop, he had laid all 4 bedrooms with the cheap pad. He returned the next day with 1/2" mixed pad and I sent him away. Had to send him away two more times with cheap pad before he brought the right stuff. I suspect he was ripping off Floor Source and would have pocketed the difference if I had not caught him. The store was great, but if they employ crooks, I won't do business with them again. The floors look great. They do a beautiful job. The biggest problem is that they are a small company and one of the men left suddenly. The other guy was overloaded. One guy had to come late because he had an appointment. However, he asked me the day before for the same and worked till eight in the night and made up to it. They moved the big furniture and put them back.

The price included everything from removing old floor and carpet and then installing the new one. The carpet runner has still not arrived though. They had to come on different days and half the time I was informed when they were coming and half the time there was a delay. I would use them in future because they offered the best bargain and the best floor.
