 + -1 moreWhen you look at fixtures---there is one price a customer is quoted at the Ferguson showroom; there is a separate lower discount price the plumber pays for the same item. The plumber invoices the customer at the higher showroom price and pockets the difference. I understand that this is the way most business is done - the trick is to find a plumber who will do the work for you and not play the game of "I won't guarantee my work unless I buy the toilet". I could have purchased most of the items at a discounted price at Lowe's or Home Depot, but I could not be sure of the quality of work performed by their contractors. Similar items could have been purchased at Allen and Allen, which offers all customers the "builder's price", but again, most plumbers don't want to do the work unless they are also getting a piece of the pie, i.e., the showroom mark-up price.
Description of Work: Visited the Ferguson Showroom multiple times to get ideas, price bathroom fixtures and discuss necessary plumbing work to be done in advance of a bathroom repair job. At the time, I planned to do all the purchases on my own and then hire independent workers to perform the plumbing, tiling etc. The young woman who helped me in the Ferguson showroom was extremely professional and answered all my questions, then sent me a detailed price list and project sheet. However, when I received bids from 3 plumbers and plumbing companies to perform the labor, all three explicitly stated that they would not guarantee or warranty any fixtures and their work unless THEY themselves purchased and/or provided all materials. I ultimately chose a plumbing company to do the work, which included their providing the toilet and bathtub and all faucets, etc. just so the work could be guaranteed. I do not know if they purchased those items at Ferguson or not, but they were the same fixtures I had looked at and priced there.

Description of Work: I enjoyed my experience at ferguson's. Their prices and quality are high but worth it if you can afford it. I did not buy there because we could not afford what they offered. Their service is amazing and they make you feel like a queen.

Description of Work: I am remodeling my master bathroom and had searched the internet for ideas. With the ideas, I went to Ferguson and spoke to Linda Leroux. Although the items on the internet were cheaper, I left Ferguson confident that I had absolutely everything I needed: fixtures, valves, trim, toilet, shower/tub systems-and they matched. The service and confidence were worth the extra money. The even shipped the valves directly to my house to ensure I kept my construction schedule. Linda knows her stuff!

 + -1 moreThe lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and very professional. The down side, the long wait to get assistance and the high prices. Had their prices been a little better I would have ordered all from them.
Description of Work: I am remodeling my bathroom. I went to their showroom, which is first class. I did have to wait a very long time before someone could help me. When I did get someone to help me they were very professional. Their prices were high. I did order one item from them, but the majority I ordered on the internet and saved about 33%.

 + -1 moreThe woman I worked with was really great. She helped me pick out what I wanted, priced it for me, and then ordered it. However, three weeks later, and we are still missing parts so we can finish up this work. Not to mention, you are paying heavily for their nice showroom.

 + -1 moreWe were amazed by their prices as they are almost as good as Direct Buy which is a wholesale to the public service. Also, the hardware and sinks we bought are much better quality and price than what we found at another home improvement store.
