I have had this company protect this home for over 20 years.

I chose this company because they had great reviews on Angie's List. Ruben has come out to our house twice to do the quarterly treatments and has been just great!! He never gets annoyed when I ask him a ton of questions. He has been very knowledgeable in taking care of the things I cant stand (BUGS!!) They also give me advance notice by email AND a phone call for when my treatment is due. The people I have spoken to on the phone to make appointments have been so friendly. Every time an appointment was made, they were on time. When I purchased my home, the inspector found carpenter ants. Part of the agreement to buy the home was for the homeowner to take care of the ants. She DID do so (with another company) and within 2 months the ants were back. I have a feeling they charged her for "saying" they were taking care of the ants. Anyway, I called Family Pest Control because the ants were back. In full force. Family Pest Control originally told me to wait until the rainy season was over in Texas to treat the ants. I just couldn't wait that long. I had about 60 active ants (that I could see!!) Sam came out in February 2015 to treat the ants. He was just as amazing as Ruben. It is currently April and I have seen only ONE carpenter ant (which passed away shortly!) He sprayed the crap out of our house!! Excuse my French!! They also offer a 6 month guarantee for their Carpenter Ant treatment. Excellent service all around with this company!!

This company was less than satisfactory. I contacted them to remove raccoons on my property. I asked them if there were raccoons in the trees and they told me it wasn't their job to look. They put traps on the roof and that was it. I had another company come out and that company found a dead raccoon on my roof.

They were awesome. They were excellent.

Went well, showed up on time and did a complete good job. Not too talkative, instead went straight to work and completed quite quickly.

The spray used inside is odorfree but both my wife and I noted issues with after effects. Taste in throat and my wife is allergic to several pesticides, so we have adjusted to an outdoor only service every three months. The service was very cordial and timely.

Family Pest Control came and sprayed the yard for fire ant prevention.

It I didn't have any termites so I guess it went OK. I'm supposed to call them back in April to come and check it again. They did what they were supposed to and they showed up on time. The young man that came was real informative. I have no complaints.

Always courteous and prompt, and willing to re-visit during the quarter if a second treatment is needed.

When I bought my 40 YO house, one of the first things I did was get termite treatment...No signs of termites, but also no 'signs of termite treatments' to quote my home inspector. After looking on Angie's list, they came up, and after talking to them, and researching their termite treatment, I went with them. They also do my quarterly treatments (and do a GREAT job)... they are fair, professional, and prompt! I always know when they are coming, and who is coming...Will continue to use them!

Both company, owner, who performed accurate estimates, and staffer, who performed extermination services were punctual, proficient, thorough and professional. Termidor treatment was provided for the discounted price per Angie's List promotion.

These people are great. We now use them for our quarterly pest control service. If need be, they come out between quarterly services to spray for insects if we see them. They haven't charged me for an extra trip which is great. A reminder notice is sent with a picture of their technician in case there is any worry about security. I would recommend this company.

Excellent service!! Rep showed up on time and quickly took care of the job. Phone reps were friendly. I would definitely recommend to those needing their services.

I have been using them for fifteen years and I have been very pleased with them. They have been very reliable, very punctual and I get the same guy every time and so he knows my house. $65 is for the quarter.

We purchased the annual plan for quarterly visits/maintenance. A great purchase. Sam showed up on time, was very professional, thorough, and explained everything as he was going along. The final item of the visit was spraying outside. Completed on 3 Nov 14, it proceeded to rain the next two days. I called Family Pest Control and they set up a time to come back out on 7 Nov 14, after the rains had stopped and re-sprayed the outside. I would highly recommend their service.

I am a very conscientious property keeper and I needed to get rid of the weeds in my front yard and so far nothing had worked. Tru-Green never was able to even partially remove them. Family Pest Control does the pest control spraying in my house every 90 days and I have only seen a couple of bugs in 2 years of doing business with them. So when I was distressed about my yard, Bob came out, looked at the front Bermuda which was thin and had weeds. He also looked at the new St. Augustine in the back and made suggestions for both. The first application of herbicide did not kill the weeds in the front, so a few weeks later, Bob came back and at no expense to me put a stronger solution on the front Bermuda weeds, applied a wetting agent again to front and back, and the winter fertilizer for front and back. That did the trick and for the first time since I have lived here, I have no weeds in my front yard and it is really looking nice. My new grass in the back is also beautiful. Thanks to Bob who explained every process to me, what it would do, what it would cost and how he would keep a watch on it to be sure everything was working as it should. Very, very nice man to work with and knows as much about grass and yards as anyone I have met so far!

SAM IS THE BEST!!!!! We noticed indications of termite activity in our master bathroom. I found Family Pest Control on Angie's List with a deal they were running on termite treatment service and thought I would give them a try. I spoke with Bob on a Friday and he had Sam out at the house the following Monday. Sam did a thorough inspection of the house and determined the likely location the termites were getting into the house. He then spent hours making sure the house was protected inside and out. The service came with a one year warranty, that was transferable, and extendable annually for an extremely reasonable cost. Sam is a wealth of information and clearly has been doing pest control for many years. He answered all my questions and the job could not have been more professional. His work was meticulous and very clean. Family Pest Control was a great deal, excellent service, and so far completely cleared up are termite issue. I recommend anyone to call other pest control companies to get quotes. When you want it done right and at the best price, call Family Pest Control.

For 3 years, we suffered with a major problem with a variety of bugs - especially sugar ants. We had tried 3 other companies (one-year contracts with each company) who could not get rid of them, despite various remedies and treatments. The ants were taking over our whole house. Based on excellent reviews that we read on Angie's List, we decided to give Family Pest Control a calI. From the very beginning, I was greeted with friendly, helpful & honest care from the very first phone call, when I called to find out more about their different services, and to schedule an appointment. The technician who came out was very knowledgeable about his profession, and very polite and conscientious on the job. He explained to me why some of the previously-tried procedures would not work, based on the ant's behaviors and habits. I was impressed with his knowledge, but skeptical that anything would work to get rid of the ants, based on the failure rate with 3 other companies. Still, we were willing to do anything to stay in our house, as we were ready to "abandon ship" and let the ants have it! Family Pest Control stands by their work, and agreed to come back, anytime, to re-treat (at no additional charge) if the first treatment was not successful. By the next morning, we began to see spiders, beetles and pill bugs dying off. To my amazement, the ants seemed to be under control after just one treatment; however, two weeks after the first treatment, I started to see a sparse population of ants trying to emerge again. I called the company, and they sent the technician out again. He carefully evaluated the situation: All other kinds of bugs had been eliminated, and the ants were almost eliminated - at least they appeared to have been hit hard, and a very few were trying to re-colonize. He said that he would use the "big cannons" this time, and "finish them off!" And, BOY! Did it ever work!!! After 3 years of watching these critters take over our house, we have finally re-claimed victory - thanks to Family Pest Control. We highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone needing pest control service. I wouldn't waste another minute or another dollar looking anywhere else! The knowledge, integrity and professionalism of this company cannot be matched! They stand by their work, and, unlike some others, these folks are experts in their profession! They were fantastic. We used to live in Florida and we had trees that were dying out. They had like black suit underneath the leaves and I tried everything but couldn't get it done. Then I finally hired somebody in Florida and they told me what it was. We had the same experience when we moved here to Texas and this gentleman took one look at it and said exactly what it was. I said anybody who knows that, knows his business. I had all the bug control agency over the last couple of years and they didn't know what they were talking about. They are the ones who know what they are talking; his name is Bob; he is tremendous and professional.

The technicians were very professional and detailed. They explained the process thoroughly and provided advice on steps to take to minimize problems in the future.
