DJ and his team arrived on time and hit the ground running. When they were done the fascia on my home looked great. Would definitely call them again

While I know home repairs are expensive you get what what you pay for. I received quality workmanship at what I deemed as a fair price. When you account for quality work and quality materials you can't go wrong. Don't forget about the time I saved. These guys were fast and great. All concerns are addressed and professionalism was outstanding. Will I use them again? They are giving me a bid on the next project tomorrow. If you want it done right use this company.

DJ and crew did a great job replacing siding on my home.

We had a roof installed 5 years ago it begin leaking a few month later it was repaired by the company that installed the roof but leak continued causing ceiling damage twice now the company is out of business DJ returned my request within minutes he was there when he said on time and he showed us that sector the roof that was leaking should have been handled and different type of roofing installed there , work was done promptly, his crew was professional efficient they did a great job I would recommend them for any type of work I just wish I knew about DJ and services he provides sooner I have a peace of mind now. DJ owner is awesome - he is a great listener and commits to what we agreed on. I had 4 fascia boards replaced on the arches of my roof which is not an easy job - but DJ's crew were on time and finished the project making my house look great again. I am going to hire them again for 3 other projects.

DJ did some work on our roof and I asked him about the possibility of deck work. He said his business could also do deck replacement. I described to him what I wanted via email and in conversations over a period of several weeks. He created a contract with a price, but he had left off some of the items that we had discussed. He amended the contract to include the items and we paid a downpayment, approximately one-third of the total cost. Before DJs workers began work, I had the sprinkler system company that we use come out to do an annual check-up and asked them to place flags where the sprinkler heads were located. When DJ came by for the last time on the day before the work was to begin, I pointed the flags out to him so that he could share the information with his workers. He said he would probably put some buckets over the heads as the guys were sometimes rough as they worked. That was the end of the conversation. I had done my due diligence...the ball was in his court. As the workers progressed on the deck, there were some issues. The railings were not placed where I had asked them to be placed, some work had to be redone. DJ was on the job site no more than 10-15% of the time, so the workers were on their own. The job took six days. On the sixth day, my husband and I looked around and we liked the end product. The balance was paid. Our sprinkler system comes on at five sharp in the morning. I had noticed that the stairs were always wet after the sprinklers ran. My husband and I did a zone test to determine the zone so I could get the sprinkler company out to adjust the direction of the heads. It turns out that the stairs had been built over one of the sprinkler heads. I was unhappy about this and contacted the DJ via email. He told me that it was my fault for not pointing out the problem before the stairs went in. I reminded him that I had marked the sprinkler heads and he had said he would handle it...even going to the trouble of placing buckets over the heads which he did not do. The ground was very churned up because of all the removal of the original deck supports and installation of new deck supports. I had asked that the stairs be placed in the center of the short side, but I did not know exactly how far the stairs would extend beyond the deck, nor did I spend a lot of time out there. DJ is the contractor, not me. He never asked me again about the sprinkler heads after I pointed the flag markers out to him the day before construction began. In addition to the sprinkler head having to be moved, I have since discovered some other issues that should not be happening in such a short time after the completion of a job. Several of the railings are lifting at the corners and are no longer horizontal. There is one corner where two railing boards meet. The boards were cut at an angle to make the ninety-degree turn. There is now a half-inch gap between the two angled cuts. It looks awful and one of the angled boards is angled upwards. The stair treads are lifting at the corners and will need to be screwed down. The whole job was done with ribbed nails and a nail gun. The board ends at each side of the deck and is not cut evenly. Some stick out a half-inch creating a jagged appearance. I would like DJ Everyday Construction to pay for the repair to the sprinkler system and come up with a solution for the raised corners of the stair treads, the railing corners, and the jagged edges of the deck boards.

This is the second time I have had this business do some work on my home. I found DJ to be extremely trust-worthy and honest. He showed up for work when promised. I was not surprised by any unexpected costs. As a matter of fact, DJ noticed I had a few missing shingles on my roof and offered to replace them for me, which he did without charge. I will be calling him again should I need other work done in the future.
