Everlast Pro Painting

Mr. Overby was on time every time he said he would arrive at a given time. He was very thorough and he and his workers started work on a Saturday and worked 5 straight days, many days working past 5pm to get it done. They had to cover some fairly horrible colors, but my house now looks fantastic and I'm extremely pleased with their work. They made repairs to the wall where necessary. I'd definitely use Everlast again. I'm very impressed with their work ethic and their attention to quality.

Everlast Pro Painting was one of three companies I found through Angie's list and contacted to bid on the work I needed done. Beginning with that first phone call Patrick was friendly and professional. He arrived on time for the estimate appointment, asked appropriate questions and followed up with the written proposal within the time frame he specified. From a price perspective, Everlast's price quote fell right in the middle of the others, which to me, was fair for the amount of work I needed done. More importantly, I trusted Patrick over the others to do what he said he would. I could not be more pleased with the decision. On day one Patrick and his team arrived on time, as promised, and promptly began working. They took excellent care of our home during a very messy project (popcorn ceiling scraping is no joke in the dust department) making sure everything was properly covered and sealed off. Patrick was consistently checking in with me to ensure I was happy with the work so far, which was very reassuring to a first time home owner and first time home improvement project undertaker. Any concern I raised, no matter how small was promptly acknowledged and addressed. The project was completed exactly on time and the quality of the work is excellent. I tend to be a knit picker and notice even the smallest details, but Patrick and his team took care of every last detail. I conducted a final walk through and was left with the remaining paint from the project. I cannot say enough positive things about this company and look forward to working with them again on our next project.

The outside of our home was in desperate need of painting as this had not been done in 11 years. We purchased this home in late 2013 and knew this would be one of the projects that needed doing. I contacted 2 local painting firms and got quotes from both. My first quote was around the same price as Everlast Pro Painting, however, the quote from Everlast was with a much better quality of paint and included 2 coats of paint rather than one coat. Patrick Overby (the owner) sent us a 2 man team, Shelby and Mike, and we could not have asked for more professional painters. They showed up on time (usually around 8:00 am) and worked the whole day each time they were here. They first pressure-washed the outside of the house and then came back the next day to start the caulking work that was needed on the hardy board, door areas and around all the windows. I have a 2 story home with lots of windows so this took quite a bit of time. Also, all lot of caulking was needed on the hardy board. Plus they applied 2 coats of paint to every area that was painted. We truly appreciate their time and efforts as it was pretty cold outside. Shelby and Mike did a great job and we would highly recommend Everlast Pro Painting

Overall my wife and I were very please with Patrick, Shelby and Mike from Everlast Pro Painting. They arrived every morning about 7:30 and went immediately to work. They were professional, courteous, polite and trustworthy. I felt very comfortable having them working in the house when no one was there. The cabinets turned out very well meaning no drips or runs like paint can do. Patrick sprays the cabinet doors at his shop whereas some painters wanted to use my garage. Normally I wouldn't mind but I have some items stored in the garage and I didn't want to chance getting overspray on them. I will use them again.

This was a pretty straight forward paint job and all went well, from the estimate through completion. The crew came the first day to do the pressure wash and prep work, let it dry over night, and then completed the painting in two days. They did a very nice job, smooth coats, clean lines, no paint where it shouldn't be (ie the windows, brick, concrete), needed very few touch ups at the end of the job, etc. I did just a few days ago notice a spot under the eves where it looks like it got only one coat, but I haven't called them yet to see if they'll come touch it up since I just noticed it. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. The final price was exactly what I expected based on the estimate, and I didn't have to pay anything up front.

Given the lofty expectations of an unblemished rating from Angie's List, we were very disappointed with the quality of work performed. The owner never wrote up a contract for services to approve which led to a misunderstand of the actual job requirements. In short, we did not receive the work that we asked paid for. Painters were unapologeticaly late 2 out of 3 days. Work areas were not properly cleaned afterwards requiring us to undertake a cleanup that took days due to sloppy work. Additionally, a countertop was damaged by a negligent worker. The contractor only offered to glue the damage to the formica which still left an unsightly blemish. The damage remains uncorrected and is a constant reminder that this contractor is highly overrated as well as overpriced. We have a sizeable amount other work in other areas of the house but Everlast will not be welcomed back under any circumstances.

Patrick helped me pick paint colors and walked me through my entire home pointing out things he could do while painting to improve the overall look of my home. He was on sight to oversee the work and his crew was wonderful. They were professional and did a great job. They made sure everything was perfect. We had a rain storm that broke a bolt on an awning and they repaired that while painting the outside. I was very pleased

Patrick was professional in his bidding, overseeing his crew and follow-up inspection. The crew pressure-washed through a blustery northern that came through, and stayed on the job until completed. They finished sooner than anticipated, and the job was even better than I expected. They removed all the nails and hooks that had been hammered and screwed in over the years. They repaired all the holes, cracks and other imperfections. Both Patrick and the crew were very professional and exceeded expectations. I would use them again and certainly recommend Everlast if you really want a professional paint job done the right way!

Patrick, the owner, and his crew were very responsive and did a really good job. We got new carpet about a month before havcing the house painted and , because of the color of the new carpet, we had to change wall paint color and have the ceilings painted. Partrick was always there to help us make the changes and get it the way we wanted it. His crew leader Adrian was very attentive through all the mess and moving of furniture. He and the others on his crew were always polite and careful to make the job as easy on us as possible. They also worked hard to get it done in a timely manner. There have been a few very small areas that need to be touched up. When I called to ask Patrick to come look at them with me, he came quickly and took care of the few touch up areas. The ceiling in my living room needs some work on the tape and float in one area. It didn't show up with the old paint. I asked Patrick to wait and do that after the Christmas holidays as it is right above my tree! He will be here to do it as soon as I call - I have no doubt.. I trust him and his company completely, which is a very improtant part of hiring a contractor!

Patrick and the Everlast Pro Painting team did a fantastic job repainting our kitchen cabinets! We have oak cabinets which were very grainy and had a dark brown finish and asked Patrick to paint these white which is very difficult to do if you want it done right. After speaking with multiple painters, contractors, and refinishers, it was clear that Everlast was by far the most knowledgeable about refinishing these types of cabinets to a white enamel finish. Everlasting came in masked off the entire kitchen, including putting up plastic to keep the house perfectly clean, and from start to finish completed the job in less than one week. Patrick and his team were always punctual, courteous, and reliable and the finished product is remarkable. the cabinet doors are a smooth white which is amazing considering that they are oak. Patrick and his team are both extremely knowledgeable and professional and we are going to have them back to paint the entire house soon, since they did such a great job! I would recommend Everlasting 100% without any hesitation!

Because this was a fairly large job, I received estimates from 3 painting companies. Two of the quotes were very close in price so I ultimately chose Everlast Pro Painting because the owner, Patrick, was knowledgeable and professional. My project started when he said it would, October 15th, and finished when he said it would, October 25th. Adrian and Hector were the crew members who performed the work on our home. Adrian was very experienced, easy to work with, and willing to meet or exceed our expectations. Hector was a very skilled painter and did an an excellent job staining our front doors. They also replaced some wood trims and repaired some stucco cracks prior to painting the exterior stucco and trim on our home. Everything turned out beautifully. Once the exterior painting was complete, the crew began working on the interior of our home - repairing some sheetrock, matching the drywall texture, and painting the repairs. We were concerned about matching the existing paint and trim colors as they are eight years old. However, Sherwin Williams was able to do an excellent job of color matching and the repairs are very well done and would not be noticed unless they were pointed out. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the work performed by Everlast Pro Painters. The entire project went as smoothly as I could have hoped it would. I am very happy I chose them and would quickly and confidently recommend them to anyone seeking a recommendation for a painter.

The owner, Patrick Overby, stayed in contact, provided information in a timely manner, and over the 5 day period was on sight 4 of those days. On the final day he went through all areas to make certain all areas were completed as quoted and the areas were cleaned. The painters arrived on time ever day, completed all work with meticulous care. They cleaned work areas at the end of each day. I would hire Everlast Pro Painting again.

From start to finish (the entire job took several days), Patrick Overby and his lead painter, Adrian, had a firm grip on every detail of the work as it progressed. Having the interior of a home painted while living in it can be a trying idea unless the contractor has a strong sense of the needs of the homeowner and works closely with that homeowner. Everlast is that kind of contractor. What small things could not be moved to the garage were meticulously taped and covered. In the end I very much appreciated the benefit. Adrian and his crew worked from room to room so I would not feel banished from my home. Each morning I was briefed on that day's work schedule, asked if I had any input or questions, and how I felt about the progress. The repairs and the final paint application, I feel, came out perfectly. The house feels brighter and warmer. Watching a professional painter work still amazes me -- the ease they have to cut a perfect line. Patrick's Everlast pros do just that and Everlast uses quality materials. I will be using their services again.

Patrick Overby was quick to respond to my invitation to bid the job of painting my 2 story house. He was informative and polite. He had bid ready in a timely manner, and I thought his price was very reasonable. Mike and Shelby were excellent workers and painters. They were pleasant to have around and cleaned up every afternoon before they left the house. They always checked in with me as they left, and told me their plan for the next day. They took every care with my house as they worked on it and I am completely happy with the result. I will definitely use them again.

The job went well. All of the work specified was done in a highly competent manner. Patrick, and his crew were on time, worked carefully, and cleaned up at the end of each day. When the job was complete we did a walk around to ensure the job was complete. Patrick provides a warranty on the job if there are any problems. We were very satisfied with the work done.

I am so grateful for Angie's List. This was my 2nd time to use your referral service and I appreciated the candid feedback from previous customers. Everlast Pro Painting recommended a better quality paint ( I hadn't thought of this..), completed every detail, and did a very thorough job! I usually don't do reviews so I want this one to count!

Everlast Pro Painting was simply outstanding. Their quote was competitive with others -- and included the door staining at no extra charge -- and was prompt in delivery. Scheduling was very simple. The biggest impression from my experience with them was their punctuality. Every time they said they would be at the house, they were there. For 4 days we had two painters -- Mike and Shelby -- who were kind, thoughtful, and flexible in the work schedule. They showed up promptly at 7am every morning. The detail work was excellent. I would hire Everlast again in a heartbeat. Patrick and his crew simply set the standard for what all contractors should be. I can not give them high enough ratings for the quality work, scheduling, and ease they provided.

Did an excellent job prepping which is very important! (photos attached).....took all cabinet doors off and took all drawers out, spray painted at shop. They came back looking like brand new cabinets!! Finish was like glass.....painted and caulked and repaired cracks in wall etc Patrick, Shelby and Mike were great to work with, very punctual, like to start early. I highly recommend this company, you won't be disappointed!!

Both resources who were painting were very professional and communicated well. The rooms are done very well, with plenty of paint to cover the old color. Patrick was very professional and prompt to stay in touch and follow up. He takes his work seriously. I'm in the process of contracting with him again to finish the remaining rooms.

Shelby & Mike spent 2 days taping plastic on the inside of each cabinet, covering over spray areas in paper or plastic and hanging plastic from the ceiling to make tents to hold in the dust. I left the majority of the items in my cabinets which was very helpful. After 2 days of taping, they sanded the cabinet shells. The doors and drawers were removed and taken to the shop to be sanded and painted first day. On the third day after sanding and wiping down the cabinets to remove dust, they sprayed a coat of primer. The 4th and 5th days, they sprayed coats of the enamel sanding after each coat of spray. They took down the plastic and tape of the 6th day. I am very pleased with the end product. Shelby & Mike were meticulous, conscientious, extremely punctual, efficient and pleasant. It was a great experience after two previous flops with other painters. Hire these guys - they do it right the first time!

The workers arrived on time, the work was completed as requested, and the Angie's List customer discount was given.

Many different colors used. Workers were very nice, honest and considerate. Work completed quickly. Large home with very high ceilings very careful workers. I did find about 3 drops of paint on carpet and 1 scratch on floor (that Patrick quickly repaired) but with this amount of painting it is to be expected. Got one other estimated from other angies a list provider but Patrick came in a good bit lower. Very pleased. Will need my office painted soon and I will call only Patrick. No need to get other estimates.

The job was compiled on time and within the amount estimated.

Patrick and his crew were a delight with which to work. They were very conscientious and proficient. The clean-up after the job was complete and their service was courteous yet professional. We did however manage to pick the only three days in July when it rained in San Antonio, so when we found one very small area where the paint split, Patrick personally stopped by the very next day to redo the area. I strongly recommend Everlast Pro-Painting and have in fact already made a personal recommendation to a coworker.
