Everlast Pro Painting

This was a whole-house paint job. Everlast Pro Painting has been painting houses in San Antonio for over 21 years and their painters are skilled and professional. The painters who did my house were with Everlast for 14 years. Mr Patrick Overby uses Sherwin-Williams Duration paint and covers the house trim with two coats. The owner of the company is Mr Overby and he does the job right the first time. If you are looking for exterior or interior painting select Everest Pro Painting and enjoy the results. Patrick was prompt to respond to quote, questions, and post painting concerns. He was able to perform the work within 3 days w/ 4th day for touch ups. The house was still empty and he worked with different family members to allow his workers in the house to paint. He also came on the 4th day to inspect and see where the touch ups were needed. Our house has a lot of crown molding and wainscoting, the paint is perfect around the edges. It's clean and precise. We also did two accent walls for a total of 5 paint colors. He was also open to using paint left from sellers to touch up front door and pantry.

Patrick, from Everlast Pro Painting responded within two hours to our request for a bid. He came out the next day, walked the perimeter with us, asked questions, said he would Email us an estimate that day, which he did. Once we collected bids and notified Everlast, the same day they scheduled our job for 3 weeks out. A week before the scheduled start date, Patrick called to see if we would be interested in an immediate start date. When I agreed, they were there to power wash the house the next day. The following day they began paining, finishing the third day. The crew arrived, as promised, by 8:30 each morning, were respectful of us and our property, and finished early on that third day. Patrick actually came out to inspect about 2 hours before they were finished, wasn't completely satisfied with the way the garage trim looked, had them putty some cracks in the wood, and repaint. We are preparing our home for retirement, and have had a LOT of work done in the past year. This was, by far, our easiest and best experience to date. Everything went according to schedule and quality of work. The siding of the house was power washed at the end of one week. It rained the following monday but it was given a full day of sunshine to dry out and painting began on Wednesday and they had the job completed by Friday. Considering the size of the house, a two story, it was done very quickly. We had a minor issue with sheen on the clear finish of the front door but Patrick was completely understanding and willing to do whatever was necessary to satisfy our desired appearance, including removal of finish and redo of the door. Patrick stayed in touch to make sure the job was going as expected and came over each day to inspect the work and discuss any issues we had. I was fully satisfied with the whole process and it was reasonably priced.

Patrick quickly showed he was a professional painter. He was the only estimate that told me he should spray wash first. He also recommended caulk areas as well a hidden trim areas. I received multiple bids, and his product and price was the best of all. I'm getting ready to call him back to do some interior painting. I highly recommend Patrick and his team. They are all professionals.

Patrick did return my initial call on a Friday afternoon and we set an estimate for the following Monday morning at 9:30am. He called that morning at 8:40am and said that due to weather (heavy rain) he would need to reschedule. We rescheduled for Thursday (3 days later) at 9:30am. I then called him right back to see if we could schedule it for any earlier as I had forgotten I had a conflict that day. He said he would be able to meet with us the next day (Tuesday) at 11 or 12 and that he would call me with an exact time that morning. That was the last time I heard from him. I called him at 12:30 to confirm he was still coming and left a message. It is now Thursday at 4pm and I still have not heard from him. I hope he's okay. I'm glad we didn't hire him as I would hate to be in the middle of the job and have these responsiveness issues. The company we hired has already provided a bid and is starting this weekend. I understand he has many high ratings and happy customers per this web site, maybe we just fell through the cracks.

Work was completed by scheduled date. Job was done in 4 days. They missed painting the window surrounds, but returned the next business day to complete them & do some touch up work. Excellent in all categories. Patrick Overby, the owner, and his crew of three, were highly professional and knowledgeable, listened carefully to all of our requests, and even made suggestions when they observed areas requiring attention that we had not noticed. They began power washing on a Friday, worked the next day, Saturday, and completed the project on Tuesday. They required no payment until the project was completed to our full satisfaction, and even warned us to beware of companies that require partial down payments, noting that all reputable firms use credit cards and/or have accounts with suppliers of material to pay for their paint and other materials. They were very professional and took care to caulk, tape, etc., as needed, and cleaned up their work area as they went along. Not so much as a drop of paint was spilled in any location where it was not supposed to be! They were punctual and courteous at all times and patiently accommodated our requests for additional paint samples when we were somewhat indecisive about our final color selections. They also applied samples to our walls in various areas so that we could see what the finished work would look like under different light conditions. At our request, they used top-of-the-line Behr paint and the owner told us that he used Behr for his own home (a sterling endorsement and, for those who may not be aware, Consumer Reports rates Behr the best of the best). The finished work is simply beautiful and certainly exceeded our expectations by any measure. We plan to have the interior of our home, including our kitchen, painted in a few months and will definitely be using Everlast Painting and Patrick Overby's team for the work. Based on other estimates we received, as well as feedback from friends, we also consider their work very reasonably priced. We should also note that we have been a member of Angie's List for several years and have never been disappointed with her recommendations.

This was the second time in the past decade that I used Patrick Overby's painters. They are meticulous and very careful. They spent a day prepping all exterior surfaces (power wash, filled holes where gutters had been removed, etc.). They painted all surfaces twice with the high quality Sherwin-Williams paint that I specified in the contract. Cleanup was perfect. They are a top notch group that can be counted on to perform reliably - and beyond expectations. I highly recommend them and will use them again when the need arises. Their bid for the work was very fair - and beat out two other bidders for the same scope of work.

The owner arrived on time to give me a free estimate. He took his time to walk around the house with me, answer my questions about the prep work, and discuss options for the type of paint used. He was great about promptly answering some follow up questions I had by e-mail and amending the contract to include some specifics I wanted. He placed more emphasis on taking the time to do the prep work right than some of the other painters I got bids from and still had a better price. His crew did a great job on the house, even reaching some tricky areas behind gutters, and did very neat work. They also cleaned up after themselves each day as promised. The owner was able to meet me before I left for work to do a final walk around and collect payment and I have a 3-yr. warranty on the work. My house looks so much better now! I'm definitely glad I hired Everlast.

It went great!! Shelby and Mike are great. They are very particular and pay attention to detail. I used them in the past to paint the outside of the house and they did great on that too.

I was very satisfied with the work performed. Previously had the exterior of my house painted by Everlast Pro Painting and was very pleased with the outcome so I rehired for the interior painting. The same crew, lead by Javier Isaias, performed both the exterior and interior painting. It is apparent the crew enjoys what they do and takes pride in the work performed. I had a kitchen, dining room, great room, master bedroom and walk-in closets, and guest bath painted. The main rooms and master bedroom included vaulted ceilings. The painting crew was in and out in 3 days. Good quality and fast.

Wonderful! The crew was professional, on time and respected our home by not leaving trash around or playing loud music as the worked. Our house is a large two story and has quite a few challenging peaks that required an experienced painter to complete. The did a great job. They took their time and did it right. No short cuts or sloppy work. I am extremely picky and have high expectations when I spend my hard earned money. Patrick and his crew met my expectations. I would highly recommend.

The crew did exactly as I asked, and the work looks great. Patrick has promised to come back out and take care of anything himself if it is not to my liking. While he is a little more expensive than other painters, his higher price is worth the quality, guarantee, and professionalism.

I was so impressed with the work and the quality of the painted cabinets that we hired them to come back and do additional work. As a result of the quality of work my father in law has also hired Everlast Pro Painting for their repairs and exterior paint. I highly recommend this company.

Patrick Overby and his team were very professional throughout the entire process starting with the initial on-site assessment and quote through completion of the project. I did not have to worry about moving anything out of the way and back again - the painting crew took care of this for me. Quality of work performed was excellent. The crew shows up when they say they will, putting in a full days work completing the project ahead of schedule. The company genuinely cares that the customer is satisfied with the work performed. I will be using Everlast Pro Painting to paint my house interior as soon as some remodeling is complete.

Short answer is outstanding. Long answer.. House new in 2006, we purchased in 2012. At 10 years had a few cracks and time for new paint. Knew nothing about painting stucco. Googled and researched and then went to Angie's List. And found Patrick Overby and Everlast Pro Painting, and boy am I glad I did. But I did get other estimates from other Angie providers with good ratings. This is where it gets interesting. First estimate was not from Patrick, but price was within $200. However Provider "B" estimate included only one coat of paint and that paint was with Sherwin-Williams 5-7 year paint. Whereas Patrick's estimate included two coats with back rolling, using Sherwn-Williams premium 10-12 year paint. Ergo it pays to be patient and shop around, even among Angie's LIst providers with good ratings. My house is one story, 1700 square feet, with a high rear elevation and the job took 5 full 8 hour days to complete. Two man crew were very polite and professional and took pains to clean up and discuss any issues. I allowed them to use our restroom and they were always considerate and tracked nothing in (which made my wife very happy). Job included power washing the entire outside, caulking all fascia, doors, eaves, garage etc., as well as repairing all cracks. And two colors were used, one for fascia and other for walls. And left over paint was left for me. I did prep he outside, that is had all vegetation and trees trimmed back. With caveat that each house has different condition issues, site considerations etc my cost was $4,140 after $460 Angies List discount. And I was so pleased with job I gave each of the painting crew $100 as a thank you. I sing the praises and recommend Patrick and Everlast Pro Painting to everyone with an interest in painting. Also in the future when it is time to paint the interior Patrick will be my first and last stop. I really depend on reviews, with verification.. and want to pass along.. hope this helps.

The prep work was extensive and overall, they did a good job prepping the house and attending to minor repairs. His crew worked hard and on a couple of occasions stayed until almost dark. I found Patrick to be honest and pleasant to deal with. The house looks beautiful and I'm pleased with the workmanship.
