Description of Work: On May 8th they diagnosed and did emergency repair for a cracked radiator. At the same visit they addressed the on going problem of a leaking valve gasket. Two days later I was back for an oxygen sensor replacement. They were very prompt, efficient and courteous. I will be returning to their shop for future repairs on my Infiniti I35 instead of the dealer. I like the fact that they use OEM factory parts and not third party replacement parts and they cost less than the dealer.

Description of Work: I have taken my 2010 VW GTI to Eurasian after several miserable experiences at Ancira VW. I went here for my 50K oil change and routine maintenance. I consider Eurasian to be fairly expensive, but worth the money. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They don't try to sell you any gimmicks or unnecessary extras. At the same time, I don't feel like they do any more then you ask them to do. There are several minor issues I know needed to be fixed with my GTI, but I didn't mention them. They didn't either. Which is fine, because, they're minor and probably not worth mentioning. Typically my car stays overnight because they do get booked and swarmed with service calls. But they have a good deal with Budget and I get a car/shuttle if I need it. Overall, excellent experiences here.

Description of Work: Because EURASIAN AUTO REPAIR is an Angie's List company, I called to find out if another quote I was given for car repair was reasonable. I spoke with Tim. I told him right up front I was "shopping" and just needed a quote to make sure I wasn't getting screwed from the mechanic where I had taken my car. Tim was very courteous but a bit busy. He told me he'd call back in 30 minutes with an estimate for the repairs I needed. After about 15 minutes, I realized I'd given Tim my phone number, but failed to give him my name. I called right back and he already had the estimate for me. I told him of an opportunity I'd found to have the car repaired for several hundred dollars less (because of some inexpensive online parts) and he suggested that if they were of good quality that I go that route. His comment was, "Hey, a couple hundred dollars is a couple hundred dollars." Now seriously! Someone who is going to give you free advice and then suggest that if you can find a substantially less expensive way to achieve the same result, you should go that route! That is authentic customer service and integrity. Because of Tim's honesty and advice, I will make it a point to do business with this auto garage in the future...even though I have a garage I've used for years. I want places like EURASIAN AUTO REPAIR to be successful and around for years!

Description of Work: The guys at Eurasian Auto Repair are the best in San Antonio for car repairs and maintenance. I've been taking my cars to Eurasian for years, and my son also only lets the mechanics at Eurasioan touch his car. Over the course of the years, we've probably spent over $8,000. on various repairs, maintenance jobs and body work.... all money well spent! They have great customer service.. Integrity is KEY! As a female... it's very intimidating when it comes to auto work. They've taken that intimidation away... it feels 'safe' doing business with them. They're the only company that will ever touch my car!

Description of Work: This was the second time I have had service from this excellent company. Specifically, they replaced the battery in a Porsche very efficiently and at half of the cost charged by the Porsche dealership. In addition, the warranty on the new battery was twice as long as that offered by Porsche.

Description of Work: Routine scheduled interval service on 2003 BMW 330ci Convertible. Synthetic oil service and filter and general inspection. Done on service appointment basis.

Description of Work: We had a company vehicle (a small Toyota sedan) that required engine work, body work, and paint. The car has been running well since and the body work looks beautiful. They even worked on the paint of the hood though it wasn't damaged so it would better blend with the paint of the repaired fender.

Description of Work: : I took my 2001 Subaru Forester in to find out why it was emitting excessive smoke. I also had oil change performed.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with this Body Shop, they were prompt, gave me an estimate, got on the job, arranged a rent car for a nominal charge, and had my car ready in 24 hours. I would use them again and recommend them. They had the Rent car Agency pick me up at their shop.

Description of Work: My son's Lexus totally broke down while on a trip from Houston to San Antonio. Since I had already had an excellent experience with Eurasian Auto Repair, I called them, explained the situation, and Robert arranged to have the car towed to his shop. After Robert had looked at the car, he had to tell me that the engine was a total disaster, needing extensive repairs. However, I had purchased a warranty when I bought the car so I showed it to Robert, and Robert and John were able to work with the warranty company (their persistance was beyond belief) to get them to pay for much of the repair labor cost and cost of the parts that went into getting the car running again. I know it wasn't easy working with the warranty company, and it took some time to finalize the repair, but the outcome was better than I could have hoped for. Robert even took the time to talk with me and my son about how to keep this car running for a long time, and showing us the proper way to do things.

Description of Work: On this visit, I used Eurasian Auto Repair for bodywork to my Saab. I'm a repeat customer for auto repairs because I find them trustworthy and they provide such quality work at a reasonable cost. In this case, I had been in a minor accident that caused only cosmetic damages to my car. Not only did they do EXCELLENT repairs and make my 2003 Saab look like new, they reccomended an added service of headlight restoration to really make my car look really sharp. At only $150, it was well worth what it did for the car, so I agreed. When the technician began looking at the car, he realized the repair was a little more difficult than it first looked. They shared the information with me before authorizing any work to make sure I was okay with the change, which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, they ended up giving me the headlight restoration for free because they wanted to keep the cost as close to the orginal estimate as possible. Again, this is a sign of true integrity and customer service to me. They did the best work possible, kept me well informed, and even went above and beyond in the repair. I'll be a customer for life!
