Description of Work: The proprietor of Emo's Electric is a bit laxadaisical about communication and with the other reviews I was aware of this going in. I was curious how he would respond in my case, and he was a bit slow in response time. But I did communicate via message on his voice machine I definitely wanted the service, but we needed to communicate for that to happen. The phone call was returned and he did show up on the very first appointment we scheduled. He did a great job installing the recessed lighting, having to do a bit of extra work because of the way the beams were placed in my house. We absolutely love, love, love the extra lighting in the house. It changes the whole atmosphere of the room and makes it much more "liveable." This is tough work, crawling in the attic in insulation, and we appreciate the efforts of the proprietor and his assistant. The B on professionalism is because of the delay in communication. He got along great with the missus.

Description of Work: The electrician was pleasant but I think that he could have done a more thorough job. One of the lights was shorting, I asked him about it, and he said the circuit was fine. It was. The fixture was bad. Not his fault but I wish that he had at least suggested some possibilities.

Description of Work: They labeled my breaker box. I believe they were supposed to do a safety inspection but since I was not present and they did not leave any paperwork I'm not sure if this was done. Other than this lack of communication, I'd recommend this company.

As soon as the air conditioning condenser units were disconnected, Eddie Overstreet jumped in and started to move the electrical. He knocked the job out in about 3 hours. As usual, I was very happy with his price, the quality of his work, and the value I got for my money. EMO's is the only company I'll call for my electrical needs.
Description of Work: Moved the electrical connections for two air conditioning condenser units from the west side of the house to the south side of the house.

 + -1 moreI've used Eddie Overstreet to rewire a kitchen remodel a couple of years ago and he did an excellent job. Got three estimates to do this work in the back of the house that came in outrageous! The estimate from Eddie was extremely reasonable compared to the others. It was a two day job. He and his helper showed up both days and we could not be happier. Eddie is very pleasant to work with. He doesn't try to up sell you or try to make you pay for work you don't need. I trust him and I HIGHLY recommend EMO's Electric for your electrical needs. He will always be the first person I call for my electrical work.
Description of Work: Ran two circuits from an internal panel and replaced the existing breaker with two new breakers. Ran conduit along the fence line to the rear of the house and installed a total of 12 weather proof receptacles; installed a box for a ceiling fan and an external motion detection light. Also, replaced an aging outside GFI and added a new receptacle near the back door.
