Door frames in my workshop had sustained carpenter ant damage. One was a single-hung door; the other was a double door with center T-Astragal holding the Flush Bolts. I purchased new, composite-material (insect proof) doorframes and sills, and asked E&H to do the install, on the recommendation of the lumber company. Eddie Cruz, the proprietor, made two 86-mile round trips to my property, to measure and to correct the order until it was delivered in correct dimensions. Then in one day he traveled the 86 miles again, demo'ing out the compromised doorframes and sills, truing up the new replacements, and installing them flawlessly to work with the existing doors which he rehung. He saved all the decorative millwork framing the loadbearing members, and reinstalled it all back as though it had never been removed. He as well fixed an endemic leakage problem because of earlier incorrect installs of the sills. He further indicated that he backs his work with a full year's warranty, requiring only a phone call to have him respond. But the work was so well performed, I don't think he'll have to travel the 86 miles a fourth time on this project.
