Diamond Decks

Had this deck done a year ago. Three problems; 1) Painter failed to follow manufacturer instructions on stain and now it's peeling; 2) Deck was not installed sloping away from house, and; 3) deck boards were installed touching so it doesn't drain and we end up with standing water on the deck after a rain. Not thrilled.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Kyle and Donnie throughout the the entire process. The people they sent out to do the actual building were some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. A special kudos to Johnnie and his team. The deck and arbor left me speechless, in a good way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to build a deck.

I was very happy with the entire process! They worked around different issues I had and finished everything without me having to hire additional people to fix stucco, gutters, paint. Nothing was left unfinished. Their crews were hard workers and everyone was very pleasant to work with. I have my next job already scheduled with them.

From start to finish, the company did what they promised and completed the job to satisfaction.

They bring in a design team! which was very helpful. you get to see an image of the plan of the work so you can make sure you are getting what you want, Also had a lot of people on staff to help us.

Our project was challenging as we wanted a rather large deck built up 20+' off the ground and then we wanted our swim spa built into the deck. This caused the crew to build the deck on timber poles and the swim spa caused them to put the posts only 12" apart due to weight issues. Diamond decks did a fabulous job on the deck and it looks far nicer than we could have hoped.

The guys that work for Diamond Decks are very professional. Starting from the owner Donnie, designer Kyle and the carpenter crew were excellent in their approach and the most important thing is that the project was completed on time and to our satisfaction. Its been only a couple of weeks but so far so good. I will give more reviews/comments/updates after a couple of months on their materials quality and the build quality. Donnie and Kyle, owners, are extremely knowledgable of design and construction of decks, arbors, pergolas, and other related structures. We recently moved to San Antonio from Houston and bought new construction. We had a deck added to our existing balcony and we could not be any happier with the finished product. Donnie is very well organized and very particular as to who can be part of the work crews. They are true craftsmen and it is well reflected in the construction. The finished deck speaks for itself.
