Description of Work: Had a very large deck built. Charles was easy to work with, very professional and respectful. Left the yard very clean and hauled off all the trash and scraps. The deck is beautiful! I was amazed, didn't expect it to look so good. We will be enjoying it for years to come, in fact we had dinner I on the deck last night. Thank you so much for such a great job.

+ -1 moreCharles and Lee are the most professional contractors we have worked with in a very long time. This job couldn't have gone better. Charles submitted estimates quickly and also included pictures of other jobs he had done. They showed up when they said they would and Charles would call when needed. We live out in the hill country which was a distance for them to travel. Great communication. They removed all the debris. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The deck is straight, solid and very beautiful. It is exactly what we wanted and more. We are extremely happy.
Description of Work: We had a very, very large deck that was not built properly. We originally contacted Charles to get an estimate on re-doing the railing. We ultimately decided to replace the entire deck. Charles, Lee and crew had to tear down the old deck and totally replace with a new one. He estimated it would take a week and it took six days. His cost estimate was more than reasonable. Charles is extremely knowlegeable about decks and the right materials to use. He gave us great advice and information regardless of whether or not we did the job. He did not pressure us at all about the decision to replace the entire deck. We are so happy with the new deck. It has added so much to the value of our house.

Member Comments: Day one - removed the old deck which was no small task - day one & two start to frame in deck top landing - day two and three build stairs and landing and steps.....It all came out excellent it just could have been any better working with the Deck the House team! Great Job!!
Description of Work: Description of Work: Had an aging front porch deck with stairs that Deck the House totally rebuilt to my specifications. Member Comments: Charlie was very responsive from the get-go...he came out took a look at what I wanted done and later that evening he sent a proposal with a layout/drawing. We agreed on a start date for the following week and while Charlie was not able to do the work himself his partner Lee was and was just as professional. Lee personally called me to make contact shortly after Charlie advise me that he would not be on the job, as I was in hurry to get the job done quickly. Lee advised me every step of the way that the lumber would be delivered and when on site went over the plan in detail to make sure we were on the same page. Lee worked on the project for 3 solid days with an associate and did an incredible job!!! The finished deck looks amazing.... my kids and neighbors have all said what a beautiful job and its so solid...I am so glad to have found the Deck the House team and would recommended Charlie and Lee to anyone at anytime....they are true professionals!!!

+ -1 moreWe love our new deck! Deck the House removed my old my rotting old deck and broken hot tub and replaced it with a solid, well-crafted one. Charlie Wells and company did an excellent job, in a timely manner, for a terrific price. He surveyed my yard, gave me several suggestions, and then drew up three different proposals based on my input. He even put me in touch with a great and affordable staining and sealing company. Charlie made sure I was pleased with the workmanship, and in the one instance where there was miscomunication between us, he made sure I was happy with the end result. Since then we've hosted several barbeques on the deck and are planning more when the crazy Texas heat subsides.
Description of Work: Tore out an existing deck and hot tub, and replaced with new deck.
