Have used these folks for several years. They clean the deck with a pressure wash and then seal it with their product. Our deck looks great and weathers very well given the multiple treatments they've performed over the years. Recommend them if you want your deck to last.

Excellent result, clean up excellent, used them many years ago and the work performed then and now have kept the arbor in excellent condition.

Barry's crew was prompt and courteous Informed us about each step of job and time required between each ie. Drying time They did not waste time or motion. ..Cleaned and refinished deck looks new. Second time to use Barry finish is better looking than original finish 6 years ago.

I have a wooden fence and part of it was leaning into my neighbor's yard. Hector dug a deeper hole and put more cement in it. He stabilized the fence by putting a cable in the ground. They are excellent. I highly recommend this company.

Deck looks better than original stain applied by builder

The crews sent to sand and clean then stain deck were very professional.

Owner came and gave us an estimate. He also schedules all the work. Due to his heavy schedule, we weren't set to have work done for another month out. Got delayed about a week from this date due to rain delays. Had a different crew to fix our deck posts (one guy), a crew to power wash deck that was to be re-sealed (two guys) and two final guys to seal the deck. They don't start early, probably around 10:00-11:00 am but work late. Or course, with any outside work Mother Nature plays a huge factor when talking about sealing wood. Only struggle I had was coordinating their time at the house with my work schedule as we have dogs that needed to be kenneled during the time of their working on the deck..

It is beautiful. Services were performed as promised.

Went well, the work was completed in a couple of hours. Since then I've not had any standing water on the deck, it drains off just like I wanted.

Barry is a true professional and his people are all very good at their jobs. They did some carpentry work to improve an existing deck, and cleaned and sealed lots of other deck areas. The old wood looks like new! A very good experience for us.

Barry and his guys did a wonderful job of restoring our IPE wood deck. (Not everyone is familiar with this type which is a very dense wood.) The deck looks great and we will be using them again. All of the guys were hardworking, on time, polite and professional. We would definitely recommend Barry Hagendorf and his crew. Call Mona at the office and set up an appointment, she is wonderful to work with.

They did a good job. They were fantastic.

It went fabulous! Barry assigned Larry Martin (carpenter) and Jeff, his helper, to complete the destruction and replace the decking and steps. Now, they may not be the fastest, but Larry is a perfectionist and did excellent work. He had to cut around some down spouts, electrical boxes, etc. and did a magnificent job. Both Larry and Jeff were professional, courteous and respectful. Larry knows his craft. We had some weather threats along the way as well. Once Larry and Jeff were done, the next crew showed up on time to power/acid wash the deck and prep it for the seal and stain. Again, they did an awesome job (Jonathan, I believe) ... these guys have worked for Barry for years and know exactly how to go about the process. Following them was Joe, who came out to apply the seal and stain and paint the rails and skirt with our agreed color. I think Joe has been with Barry for 20 years or so. Anyway, he did a terrific job as well. Unfortunately, after he finished we received several huge downpours, which we reported to Barry. As soon as the weather improved and looked like it would hold long enough to make sure the seal and stain cured, Joe came back out and gave it another coat. We're extremely pleased with the final result and the appearance is stunning. It complements our home and is a tremendous improvement from what we had previously. Barry and the Boys really know how to accomplish positive results in an efficient and professional manner. Check the other reviews .... Barry may not be the least expensive, but if you want it done right, make sure you call him!! Many thanks Barry for a great job .... by the time this needs to be done again, I'll probably be ready for the dirt nap! Very happy with the process and your people. Outstanding!!!! Barry the owner showed up to give me a quote for his services, after discussing the cost and services with my wife we decided to book the services. Barry's crew showed up on time of the day scheduled and cleaned/brightened my deck, they did an excellent job and the deck looked as it did they day we had it built!!! They advised me that it would take a couple of days of sunshine and no rain to completely dry. I lucked out as we didn't have any rain and two days later a different team showed up and sealed the deck. This team advised me that his sealant would take a couple of clear sunny days as well to fully dry and said that they may need to come back for touch ups. A week had passed and I contact Barry and asked if he was going to have a team come back and touch up. He sent one of his team leaders out to a**** the deck and decided I did need a little touch up in some area. They put me on the calendar for the next available day that they could touch up without the threat of rain. Two days later another team showed up, touched up the areas that needed extr attention. My deck looks absolutely gorgeous and I have had MANY complements

The final result was excellent -- they completely transformed the patio & deck. The job took a week to do with 2 crewmen.

Barry and his crew did a great job cleaning deck and staining to prepare our house for selling. I had put the wrong type of stain on the deck about 6 years ago and had worn out in most places. Barry has an extensive knowledge of wood types and knew exactly which products to use to seal and stain. If I ever build a new deck or wood project, I?d call him immediately to treat and protect it.

Amazing job by Barry and his crew. I received 3 separate quotes. Barry's quote was right in the middle. After looking at all the information available I chose Barry. He provided the most detailed information on the process he would be doing and the results came out better than expected. My wife and I could not be more happy with the work. Barry and his crew came out and washed and treated the deck. There was a two day wait for the treatment to set and then Barry and his crew came out and stained the deck. It took almost 5 days to completely dry but the wait was worth it. Barry is no nonsense. Nobody was home during either of their work days, but they came and took care of business. Everything was clean with non wood areas being totally protected from the staining process. Did I mention that they are coming back out n 5 months to treat my deck again? Yep, they sure are. This is to ensure my deck will look beautiful for years to come.

When Barry arrived to give me an estimate, he explained the procedure of first power washing and cleaning the wood and then two days later applying the sealer and stain. He brought samples and applied them to a small section of wood on one of the decks to show me what will be applied to clean, seal and stain the wood. On February 16, 2015, Jonathan and Paul arrived on time and power washed and cleaned my two decks and two benches to prepare them for staining. At my request, they covered with plastic my two doors and three windows near the decks as I was concerned some water could possibly enter the house during the power washing. On February 19, Hector and Paul also arrived on time and covered with plastic the river rocks and flagstones underneath and around the decks to protect them from the stain leaking through and in between the boards on them. They sealed and stained the decks and two benches. Mike and Larry came the next day to remove the plastic and inspect the decks and benches to make sure the staining by Hector and Paul met with my satisfaction. I am very satisfied as they did an excellent job. Everyone at this company beginning with Mona who answered the phone and my many questions along with Barry and the men who power washed, sealed, stained and inspected the decks and benches were professional, efficient and courteous. I highly recommend this company and will use them again as needed on my decks and later on my fence.

The initial work was begun promptly and completed promptly (i.e., the cleaning), but the staining and repairs took quite a bit longer than predicted, although weather was not a factor. Problems were solved. The workers were willing and able to address perceived inadequacies in the initial round of finishing and staining. There were several return trips to address minor issues, but no problems. Everyone was professional. There was some sloppy work here and there, but this was corrected graciously. Barry himself came out several times and found some problems we did not see and had them addressed promptly. A good outfit to work with.

They cleaned the deck on the day they scheduled and they arrived on time. The cleaning guys worked extremely hard. They took 4 hours to clean the deck and were extremely conscientious. Unfortunately due to rain, the staining guys couldn't come out for a while. They also worked hard; however, they missed three small areas. I did call Barry and he apologized and said that they would come back out the next morning; however, they haven't shown up.

I have a huge deck with stairs and railing. Approx 60 X 8 in size. They pressure washed the whole thing and treated the deck with a brightener, after it dried for several days they came back and stained the decks. They were very careful with all the furniture on the deck. They replaced four boards that were cracked and also pressure washed my stone patios for free.

Barry really impressed me and he did a really great job. He explained to us about wood and the things that he would do. He explained the different products around and brought them to us. He told us how he was going to use each product and why we should not use just stain. I could tell that he was a real craftsman. He was not just doing it for the money. He was not much more expensive than the person who was just going to slap stain on it. I was given all of this expertise at no additional price. He washed, prepped and did an oil treatment that soaks in and protects the wood from the inside out. It gives the appearance of stain without being actually stained. He told me after doing this a couple of times I could do an exterior seal. He said that getting the inside sealed first was the most important thing. We are very happy about that. It was a great use of money and the man knows wood. I love wood and it was nice to have a craftsman who knows what he is doing.
