David's Texas Painting And Construction

This is the second time we've used David. Once again, he did an AMAZING job. We had a corner in the ceiling of our hall bath that had some water damage. David was able to quickly repair the area, including re-texturing and repainting the wall and ceiling. The repair is completely unnoticeable - it blends seamlessly with the rest of the ceiling and wall. We are beyond thrilled with David and we definitely have plans to engage his services for additional projects we are working on.

We recently used David to paint the exterior of our home. We could not be more pleased with the results and the excellent service he provided. As we all know, contractors can be a MAJOR headache to work with, but David has proven that there ARE true professionals who are reliable, trustworthy, and just plain get the job done with no fuss. The Estimate: He showed up on time to look over our home and provided us with an estimate very promptly. Do we need to mention his price was MUCH lower than the other two contractors we contacted? The Job: David showed up on the day we agreed he was going to start the job and he completed the job on time. The painting was done expertly, and our home looks so nice! We are thrilled. There really isn’t more to say. This was super easy, and the results are fantastic! Just what we all dream of when we bring in a contractor to help us maintain our homes, right? One thing we found very refreshing is that unlike a lot of contractors he is happy to take on smaller jobs. A lot of companies won’t even respond unless you are planning an expensive renovation. We will definitely use David to help with additional projects we have in progress. In fact, he will be back next week to repair some sheet rock in our hall bath. I called David to get an estimate to paint my house. He returned my call quickly and was able to come over the same day to walk the house with me. He explained what he was looking at and provided a very reasonable quote with a day or two. When I accepted, he provided a timeline of when he could do the work and that's when he showed up. David did everything he said he was going to do and paid close attention to detail. He was nothing short of professional and courteous at all times. I couldn't be happier with the result. I would absolutely use David again and wouldn't want to use anyone else.

David did an excellent job painting accent walls in my family room, kitchen, hall, and dining room. His price was reasonable and he was both professional and friendly. He worked with us proactively with any issues he saw and helped us make decisions. David did an excellent job for us. He was very thorough, and his work was very precise. He patched a few items for us as well as painted the interior walls and baseboards throughout the house. He showed up on time, was very professional and polite. We did a walk through as he painted each section, and if there was anything that needed to be touched up, we identified it and he took care of it. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely use David again.

On whole did they a good job, they did fine on the main painting of the room but the touch ups were not done that well. They were really easy to work with.

All went very well. David was very prompt in responding to our initial inquiry and was prompt with the proposal. David uses high quality products and pays very close attention to detail. The work looks great!

I had a lengthy little punchlist of items around the house that I needed to get done. They ranged from filling in some nail holes to replacing some damaged sheetrock. David's price was just right and he was able to come out within 3 days to complete the work. We're very happy with the work he did. It involved about 3-4 texture matches and at least 6 different paint colors. He was able to knock it all out in a day and was very communicative throughout the whole process. We'll use him again.

From initial call to end of project David was professional, courteous and accommodating. He presented a detailed proposal quickly. I shopped around and David's bid was more than fair. David removed the acoustic (popcorn) from the ceilings, re-textured and painted. I would like to mention all this work happened while we were in residence, and David made this process as painless as possible. During the course of the work, I added two additional rooms and various walls to be painted. The additional requests were completed in the same day of asking. David is meticulous and conscientious. After the holidays, we will be rehiring David to re-texture and paint our kitchen and laundry room walls knowing he will do an excellent job at a fair price.

David was able to come give an estimate quickly and had great ideas to solve our problem. He scheduled us at a convenient time for us and was there when he said he would be there. The wall looks great!

We previously had David paint our living room and hall, and he did such a great job, we knew we wanted him to paint after we had some light remodeling done in our bathrooms. He provided the same great level of service as the first time. He worked us into his schedule as soon as he could and then managed to finish our job ahead of schedule. We had him paint the ceilings in our bathrooms (in addition to the walls) and he did an excellent job making a perfectly straight line where the ceiling meets the walls. Even my husband (who is a bit OCD) was very impressed. And before getting started, he noticed that when they installed our granite backsplash, they neglected to caulk behind it. He didn't hesitate to go ahead and fix that before starting his job. We also had him paint our cabinets in our utility room because they had apple decals in the corner of each cabinet (which must have matched some wallpaper that was no longer there). He did an excellent job removing the apple decals with mineral spirits and painting over them. He matched the paint perfectly with the trim work and door. David is great to work with - his first priority is always making sure the customer is happy and going above and beyond whenever he can - we highly recommend him!

David returned my phone call several days later, apologizing for late response. He honestly told me that he does not do what I required. But he would refer me to somebody who might do the work. Having been treated by ignorance for so many times on Angie's list, David gave me the impression that he is a very responsible person. We would hire him in the future if needed.
