Description of Work: I obtained referral from another repair company who didn't work on my particular brand of washer. I checked and verified referred company on Angie's list. Reviews were excellent. I called and received prompt, next day service. Angel was on-time and helpful in explaining the work that had to be done. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: We use D & T Appliance Repair for appliance repair. They repaired an oven recently.

Description of Work: Tony called before he arrived, pretty much on time. He listened to my problem and description, asked few question and went to work. Unfortunatley, I had partially disassembled the machine in an effort to fix the problem myself. Tony advised it would be better if I put it back together first and called him back, to save on the labor. I agreed and we set a return appointment. He returned as scheduled and went to work trying to find the problem. Dispite all efforts, he told me, "I can't find a for sure problem." In my efforts to fix it myself I may have shorted something or damage it. This really complicated the issue for Tony. If I had called first, I'm confident Tony could have found the problem. Lessons learned. If you don't know for sure, don't try to fix it. Call a professional. I spent $300 on a new drum bearing and shocks, plus $100 for a new timer and I have nothing to show for it. For another $600 I could most likely replace everything electronic and it might work. Tony did not charge me for his time, even when I tired to pay him for a service charge. He made two trips to my house and worked with me to fix my problem, but was honest enough to say it was complicated possibly due to parts I had tired to fix myself. He is a very honest and professional individual and I will recommend and call me back again. However, I will forgo the self diagnosis and repair.

Description of Work: Tony substituted for Pop's Appliance Repair since he does work on Saturdays and he was great. We were very happy with his professionalism. He repair our broken ice maker by replacing the motor. He trouble shot the whole deal

Description of Work: My ice maker stopped filling and began filling the refrigerator casing instead. I found Mr. Rosado on Angie's List and called him before 8 AM the next morning. The woman who answered the phone told me Mr. Rosado would call me back after 8 AM, and he did, at 8:02 AM! Mr. Rosado told me he already had a first appointment but that he would call me when he was finished, and he did, at 9:20 AM. When Mr. Rosado arrived, he explained the service call fee and said if he made repairs, that fee would be applied. He went to work immediately, explained the problem and made repairs. Then he saw that the ice maker was leaking. This refrigerator is 16 years old and Mr. Rosado told me he could slow down the leaking with putty, or if I preferred, he would install a new ice maker, but they cost $200. We want to try and keep this unit until our retirement in 2 years so I chose the repair and he agreed. When he was finished, he gave me a bill for whopping $43.20 and I know he was there for longer than 30 minutes!

Description of Work: Very old Sears range -- several burners out and the oven light out.

Description of Work: Dryer was not working. He immediately made a home visit and evaluated the dryer which happen to be in a tight location. Yet, he was able to manage given the work space. He was honest as it turned out to be a very simple fix.

Description of Work: Tony was referred to me by a well known parts supplier and was described as a very capable repairman, a very nice person, and very reasonable in his pricing. He was called to check out our clothes washer, which was not functioning properly. He was prompt and courteous.
