Custom Maid Service

I only received one hour of service and I paid for one hour and a half.I told the management and all they said was sorry.Sorry does not get my house cleaned or some of my money back!

They did a routine cleaning. The company charged too much for the work done.

Not well. After showing up two hours late. They spent many two hours at the most. Appliances were left dirty. (Stove was done ok).not happy with the whole transaction.

Ladies were very professional and punctual, however they did not mop the kitchen floor or either bathroom floor. That was disappointing. They did not clean baseboards or windowsills either and that is deep cleaning to me. Also, I was not told that there was a time limit. It should have been made more clear that they would clean for two hours and then go and not finish.

It did not, and you can't even talk to someone at Angie's list to cancel an order .... what a joke.

Very satisfied but more importantly the communication with company was outstanding with both phone call and email...I would highly recommend everyone

They did a TERRIFIC job! Timely, detailed, more than I expected for the price. We've now contracted with them to clean on a regular basis. Thank you!!!

Very well. We pointed out a couple of items that were overlooked at the two-person team took care of them quickly without any questions.

I received a quick response to schedule the appt; however, that's the only positive thing I can say about this company. I was advised they would arrive between 1030-1pm. I called Kim at 12 and right before 1pm to try to find out when they would arrive because of an appt I had later. At 120, I received a call from one of the workers advising me they were running late and on their way. They were still 15 min away and I told her I was upset because no one called me to let me know they were going to be late. She said it was because they didn't have directions to my house?? That made no sense to me. I then asked if they could come later. She said they would call me back. After trying to reach Kim via the phone, I also emailed her twice asking when they were arriving and after I heard from the lady. After 1.5 hrs, I called the cleaning lady back and she told me they weren't coming. I asked for Kim to call me back immediately. I then left Kim another message and still nothing. I received an email back instead apologizing and an offer to reschedule Monday after I took the full day off from work and had a house full of people coming on the next day for a party. Kim never picked up the phone to try to resolve the issue and I asked for a refund and haven't heard from her since. STEER CLEAR! Awful customer service!

Went to schedule appt. Specified that I wanted only the downstairs cleaned and they said they could not do that, they must clean the whole house. I responded: "As the one who will be doing the rating on Angie’s list after the service I would think that if the customer wants a partial then the customer would get what they ask for. But if you are saying that you can’t do LESS than what I paid for then I understand." The owner then responded: "Why would we want to clean for you if you threaten to write a poor review on Angie’s List? We also reserve the right to refuse service and we will not clean for you. You can contact Angie’s List for a refund."

I inquired about a housecleaning deal from Angie's for Custom Maid Services. I called three or four times before they got in contact with me, Kim was nice and sweet, but the next day i got an email and it seemed like they didn't want the job. I decided then, that i would go with another company that actually wanted the job and the money.

I called and left a message for them to call me. Out of the 2 times that I called, I never received a call back!!

Too much trouble. My Daughter had to remove items from fridge, bathrooms were poorly cleaned, dusting poor, floors dirty

Great. The ladies worked hard and steady. They also dusted my Living room, cleaned my kitchen and my oven. More than I expected.

Kim was very professional and prompt in her responses and was very flexible for scheduling. I have a mixed review, because for a basic clean, the job was good. However it was NOT a deep clean and I subsequently hired another service to come in 2 weeks later and they did an actual deep clean.The young ladies who cleaned were very nice but as I said, they did a basic clean and several of the promised items were not completed. The ceiling fans were not cleaned, The blinds were quickly dusted but in no way were they cleaned (the 2nd company actually cleaned the blinds),the interior of the oven was not done (the 2nd company cleaned the racks and glass window and they look brand new now), the refrigerator was not cleaned because it had to be empty )not stated in the original ad and I missed an email from them stating this), the door frames were not touched, lamps up the hall not touched, furniture polished but polished over anything that was on them instead of trying to clean then polish. I did not have them make the bed or change linens, they did not clean the cabinets in the kitchen either. The light switch plates were not cleaned. All of this was promised in the deep clean offer. They stayed half the time as the 2nd company did and did far less work. That said, they were very nice and for a basic quick clean such as you would get at most places, they were good. It simply was a basic clean and not a deep clean. For that reason, I could not give them a high grade. I would however like to add that if i need a basic clean, I would consider this company. I also believe that if I had contacted Kim and told her I was unhappy, she likely would have sent someone out to complete the job. Unfortunately, I work and want to be present when the cleaning is being done, so I didn't have the luxury of time and simply opted for another company which was highly recommended and they in fact did the job correctly. I will also say 149 was a fantastic price for a deep clean-if in fact it had been a deep clean which was performed.

It went well. I wish they did weekends, as I need to be home for this kind of thing , which can be hard, but they were early and did clean straight for 90 min as promised.

They came at during the time window that I was given. They quietly and efficiently did their work.

They did a nice job and followed my instructions.

It was very good. I’m currently using them now. They are flexible and reasonable.

Received an email that company is not open on Saturdays, and cannot give an exact start time.

They did a good job. We will have them back again and maybe on a regular basis when things settle down.

Work as great. My fridge and floors thanked me!

OK, There was 2 ladies that worked hard. They did what I asked them to. I should have done a better job writing a list of what I needed cleaned. My front door needs cleaned. I don't know if they cleaned the baseboards and window sills. Guest bathroom looked much better. When you hire them make a list of everything you want them to clean. I gave them leather cleaner so they cleaned the leather recliners. They used the wood polish on the end tables. I don't know if they used the cabinet cleaner on all the cabinets or if they cleaned all the hardwood floors.

I was not very satisfied with the work that was done. The offer was for a deep cleaning in my home. The mirrors were not cleaned, did not clean part of my floor, they didn't dust, didn't clean the toilet and didn't clean the baseboards. They wouldn't even move a laundry basket to sweep under it, and would only clean the refrigerator if my husband removed everything and put it back after they wiped it out. They also wouldn't clean the french doors because they did not clean windows. I honestly just don't know what the $225.00 was for. These two women were only there for two hours and I didn't really see much of a difference except for my walk in shower- which is important- but that is the only thing they did well.
