Cross Country Movers

The move down to San Diego, CA from San Antonio was a breeze, Cross Country Movers have been a blessing, making sure every fragile item was carefully wrapped (and double wrapped, upon my request). Miraculously, nothing was broken during my latest move with Cross Country Movers. Thanks to Angieslist, also was able to get some really good moving tips, after a friend recommend cross country movers, so I suggest skimming through some of my tips: 1. Double wrap and place your dishes vertically when possible, or triple wrap (or use something thicker than paper, when stacking horizontally, especially for long trips) 2. Make sure ALL TV's are wrapped with protective sheets. 3. Hire through angieslist, offering fifteen-to-twenty dollars per hour, if/when you need extra assistance, as opposed to paying nine dollars to under-appreciated workers: you'll get better quality work done.

They were extremely proactive by delivering me boxes on the same night. Second, they didn't apply any extra charges for the move on Friday. Lastly, they were extremely efficient in getting back to me when I had questions. The moving crew arrived at 9:00am sharp. I had fully furnished 3 br condo, so they sent 3 people. They started right away, and my husband and I were extremely impressed with their packing techniques and the speed! Even the smallest items from the kitchen was wrapped separately, so nothing was damaged or missing. They were done at 6:30pm and even put the books back on the shelves and rearranged candles on my table, which was a very nice touch. Our actual move was done by Mike, Bobby, and a third guy whose name I forgot. All three movers were courteous, thorough, and gentle with all our belongings. They showed up right on time started right away then went to our new place unloaded everything where we wanted it, carefully unwrapped fragile items, and reassembled furniture. Everything about our experience with Cross Country Long Distance Movers was positive and most importantly for us: painless and stress-free. This is honestly one of the best long distance moving companies that I have ever used.

If I could give 6 stars for Cross Country Movers I would! If you are looking for a long distance moving company then I wouldn't look any further. My fiance and I were incredibly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. The most important and impressive aspect of the company though was the kindness and good humour of all the staff. What was an incredibly stressful day and was taken in their stride and they kept us calm and laughing. I have to say I have never had so much fun, and its not often you can say that about moving home! Whats more everything was delivered in perfect condition, carpets at both our old and new house were protected despite the pouring rain, and they made sure our bed and treadmill were set up prior to leaving the property and even unpacked our wardrobe. They really took all the stress out of packing and moving and made the whole experience a lot less stressful than it could have been. Despite the last minute changes they didn't change the bill at all, which was already very reasonable. A highly impressive company and one I have no issue in recommending wholeheartedly! I've moved several times over the past few years and have had issues with different moving companies - these guys were by far the best movers I've had. We were moving out of an home with staircases which makes moving in and out difficult especially with large items like beds, desks, and dressers. We had a great team and these guys not only got the job done, they did it quick and were extremely easy to work with. I can't say enough about these guys, they were the best!
