Description of Work: Mr. Dennis Flynn is a professional who is very competent with a high degree of integrity. Very positive experiences over a long association. Noticed that another reviewer gave him an F because a contractor did not follow his plan. That is simply ridiculous, that is not the job of the engineer, that is the fault of the contractor...duh. Have known Mr. Flynn for a very long time, he is an Air Force Academy grad and a first class engineer. Dennis will give you nothing but the facts and first class inspections and designs.

+ -1 moreWe had issues with the foundation contractor halfway through the job, but always thought Mr. Flynn, being a professional, would make sure that the job was done correctly. When Mr Flynn arrived the day after the lift was performed , he informed us that if we didn't like the job that the contractor had done, tell the contractor to change it. Mr Flynn does not get involved in job performance because he does not want to be liable in any way. So, we are wondering why we paid for an engineer? The contractor did not follow Mr Flynn's repair plan causing serious structural damage to our home. Mr Flynn OK'd removing interior piers that he said in his report not to do as it would cause structural instability. He ok'd lifting where it was supposed to be stabilized. He ok'd changing the pitch of the roof. We recommend another engineer, one that will stand up to contractors and make sure the job is done correctly.
Description of Work: We hired Mr. Flynn to evaluate our foundation and draw up a pier placement repair plan for us. We used Mr. Flynn's pier placement to hire a foundation contractor.

Description of Work: Mr.Flynn was recommended by my real estate agent's broker and now i know why!! Very thorough job inspecting a home we're considering buying that has had foundation repairs. Mr. Flynn made himself available for us to ask questions. overall, a great experience!!
