County Wide Service Company

I called at about 7:30 a.m. and asked for service. Also said I could not have someone come before 10:30 a.m because of a prior appointment. At exactly 10:30 the tech called and was on his way. After a short time of troubleshooting he determined the problem was ants in the compressor; he cleaned out the dead ants and treated area around compressor with insecticide. Also checked freon; said it was fine. He asked if I wanted other unit (for downstairs) checked; I said yes. He also checked to see if filters were clean; they were.

This has been a very positive experience. I contacted County Wide today at 3:30 to explain my problem (unit would not turn on) and within one hour someone was at my door to look at the unit. He was very professional and was able to determine that the problem lay with my breaker box and not the unit itself. He contacted an eletrician for me, and within 5 minutes learned they would try to make it to my home to repair the unit. Very pleased with the diagnosis and recommended path forward.

The technician showed up on time and was very thorough and polite. Both of our units were checked out and he found no additional needs.

I called on a Sunday morning, and they had someone (Enrique) at the house in less than 30 minutes! He diagnosed the problem and did the work in less than an hour. He also installed a fuse to prevent the same problem from happening again. He was friendly and professional, and he explained what needed to be done and why. I will definitely call County Wide for future heating & AC work!

They came out three different times. They couldn't have been more professional. They did not charge me the travel fee even though they sent three different people. They were great.

They came out to our home, and they put in two new return grills for our air conditioner. They also installed two new flex ducts in the master bedroom. We had gotten two other quotes, but chose to go with this company. They explained their services well, and helped us understand what needed to be done. The workers were very clean and respectful of our home. A problem still continued two days after the service, and they came out and fixed it free of charge. They even helped us fill out the papers to get a rebate for our electric bill. The scheduling was really easy to work with, and they came out and did the work for us on a holiday. We were happy with their services, and would recommend them to others.

Called that morning and scheduled for "after 3 pm". Exactly at 3 pm, I received a call saying they were on their way. By 3:30 I had a diagnosis and estimated cost. By 4 pm, the work was done and was under the quoted price. The technician was excellent - very polite and knowledgeable and he even wore booties over his shoes when walking on my carpet!

We will continue to use County wide.

Fine. He came out on a Sunday. Arrived within 2 hours of our call. Completed the repair within 30 minutes.

Called about A/C outage at 8:00 AM. County Wide technicians arrived at approximately 8:30 AM same morning. Problem with unit was quickly diagnosed. Replacement unit was completely installed by 6:30 PM. County Wide has done spring and fall checkups on my A/C for many years and I am convinced that their excellent work is the reason my A/C unit lasted for 28 years. They are professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and responsive to the customers needs. I will continue to use their services.

We came home Sunday afternoon of Labor Day weekend to find that our air conditioner was not cooling. After consulting your site, I contacted County Wide around 6pm that evening and was relieved when a very kind gentleman answered the phone. He said he could have someone over around 8pm and promised he would call back in about an hour to confirm that someone would be coming. Sure enough, we received a call just before 7pm from him, and he said the technician was finishing up another job and would be over as soon as possible. The technician who came was very polite and efficient and diagnosed that our compressor was out. He said we would receive a call with an estimate, which we did. We actually used another service to replace the unit, but that was only because of a prior relationship my husband had with that company. The service call was very reasonable considering when the call took place.

It was on a Sunday (no extra charge), it was an emergency, and they were great. He fixed a loose wire and also checked the other a/c units. He did what he was asked.

They were prompt and came within the hour. I called at 8 and they said they would be here at 9 and they were. The guy was very informative. He explained what had happened and why.

The technician was very straighforward and honest. He said I didn't need a new unit, but that if mine went out, it was probably more worthwhile to get a newer, more energy efficient unit than replace the one I had. He explained exactly what was needed and what my options were.

Our A/C system was not cooling as well as it used to and it was running all the time. As others have noted, County Wide provided very quick service (same day). Technician was good and knowledgeable. When I opted not to do the full diagnostic leak check, he did a very brief spot check without charging extra. He explained all of our options thoroughly. Let us know about things that will need repair, but did not pressure us to have them done now. We will probably need to replace the system in the next year and I will call County Wide for an estimate when that time comes. The job was just finished, but seems to be working much better so far.

They were available for no extra charge on a Sunday and fixed the problem promptly. They did not try to talk me into any additional expenses.

This was the first time we have used their services. You cannot walk in to the place, you have to call them which surprised me. They do proved good service.

I called this company because my A/C system stopped cooling. It has a freon leak. I called early this morning to schedule the service and the company was very responsive. They offered to send someone out in the next hour and a half. They also called shortly before the technician arrived. I feel like I received good information on my options, i.e. whether to replace the unit or just add more freon. I decided to go for the short-term option now, but if I decide to replace the entire unit I would go back to this company.

They were great and they gave me tips and additional information on my AC. They helped me save money and the they were very professional. I would recommend them to everyone.

The air conditioner would make a loud vibrating noise when turned on. The technician arrived and discovered right away that it was my cardboard filter that was making the noise. A new filter took care of the problem. The technician checked the whole system and cleaned the outside condenser coils - which had not been cleaned in almost 17 years. Air conditioner is working great.

We have a two year old home and after the 1 yr. warranty expired, we needed a company for seasonal maintenance on our heating/cooling system. Last year we checked Angie's List and selected County Wide. The company is very polite and professional. They do call us to remind us for our spring and fall maintenance checks. They also send their customers a very good and informative newsletter.

It's certainly a puzzle and now I am looking for a company I can depend on for a second opinion.
