I was given an initial estimate for the first service and then a bi-weekly amount. I decided to go ahead and hire them based on the fact they have been in my neighborhood for the past 11 years that I had been living in in the neighborhood. There is at least 10 neighbors on my street that use their services, so I figured if they are happy with them they should be pretty good. Well I was wrong. They did come out and do the initial service took my money and could not get them to come back out and do the bi-weekly even after calling once and promised they were still out and if they didn't get there that day they would be out the next day. Well nexted day came and again no show. Texted and stated to the owner that if they didn't want the business it would have been nice that they were up front about it and that I wouldn't have hired them. He called me right after receiving the text and assured me they would be out the following day. Needless to say it is a month later and I have never heard from them nor have they showed up again to do my bi-weekly service.

They've been real good. They are pretty cheap. They're pretty considerate and punctual. If I call them and don't want them to come out, I just call them and they don't and they just come the next week. They do a good job. I will continue to use them.

Telephoned and was told to text my address for estimate have texted twice with no response in a week.

Leonel and his crew showed up on time. He estimated 6 hours worth of work but it ended up taking 7 hours to complete. There was a TON of work to be done. He and his crew showed up, set up and immediately got to work. We had done a walk through a few days earlier and we did it again the day they arrived just to insure we both knew what was being done and needed to be done. I was very pleased with the end results and I will definitely call upon he and his team again if/when needed.

We have used Cortez Bros the last few years as well as my next door neighbor (she has used them longer than us). Currently we are not on a regular schedule with them (for some reason my husband still enjoys mowing himself) but whenever they are next door they are graciously accommodate us. They speak English and are professional.

Leonel Cortez, the owner, does speak English, but the rest of the his crews speak very little to none. Not a problem for us as we speak Spanish. The telephone listed is Leonel's cellphone. We have used Leonel for over eight years and are very happy with the service we have them do (just mow and clean up trimmings and leaves for our half acre.

Cortez Brothers have been providing yard service for over a year. They do a great job.

I called the Cortez brothers to schedule services (e.g., rake, mow lawn, weed) and they agreed to perform the services the next day; however, they did not show up. I tried to call and text them to inquire about when they would be coming but they didn't respond. They have mowed our lawn a few times in the past and were unreliable in regards to coming when they said they were going to. Additionally, communicating with them is difficult due to the language barrier. We will never use them again for lawn maintenance even if they are inexpensive. It's not worth the hassle. If you want reliable and professional service I would NOT recommend them.

They were unreliable. When they showed up, they did a fine job, but after three times of not showing up when they said they would, I hired a different business.

Always efficient and so darn fast!

They are fine. They are always on time, and they do a good job. They come every other week during the summer, and we call them over the winter. A lot of them don't speak English, the owner and his brother speak it, but they are very reliable. Their price is much cheaper than everybody else that I have talked to.

I was really impressed with their professionalism and good work. in putting up the Chirstmas lights, they taped all of the connections and did a really good job. I think they are very good.

Contacted Cortez Brothers on the 1/3/2014, the were able to come the following morning on 1/4/2014. They were friendly thorough, and fast and performed very good work. We walked the yard, they got my feedback on what I needed. They mowed and weed eater the yard, trimmed the bushes and performed the leave blowing and pickup. Only complaint is the limited communication on the texting, I was uncertain when they were coming to perform the services.

It was a good experience and he was a good guy. I had them out for a very big job. They cleared out bushes and weeds. I found them through Angie's List. He was very easy to work with and very easy to reach. He did a good job for a fair price. I would certainly recommend them for comparable work.

They are the best all the way around. We are happy. They are quick, efficient and get the job done. They are great. We have a bigger yard.

Work was done well; unfortunately, contacting Mr.Cortez was difficult--mainly by text messaging. The last time he was texted asking for the services to be provided, he never responded. We have heard nothing from him since.

The young man who came out was very courteous and I was happy with the quote. It was just about what I've paid in the past, but they did the best job yet. I will definitely use them again.

I called Leo in the A.M. For a quote, he was on a job at the time, and took my information and said that he could come out the same day, and he will contact me in a couple of hours. Exactly 2 hours later Leo called and said that he and his crew were in route tto my home . He surveyed all of my lawn needs, and even went as far to say that (being that we are in a drought) if the ggrass does not need to be cut, he will clean my flower beds and landscaping, as well as trim hedges when he comes out he will always work on perfecting my yard. His team wore uniforms and were very professional and courteous. I have found my lawn company.

I called to get my aunts lawn mowed and edged. I left a message and got a prompt return call. The service was provided the next morning. Very nice job.

Service was very prompt and courteous. Very good communication to accomplish goals. Payment is by cash or check. We agreed on payment via online banking and follow up to make sure of receipt. This was a matter of trust and I really appreciated the courtesy, since we had not done business before. Thank you for this referral.
