I called and was able to bring my vehicle in right away. They got me in and out within an hour. I needed freon and there appears to me a small leak. The freon install has a dye and I will be able to bring back in 2 weeks to detect where leak is. Highly recommend Chad and his team.

They do fast service and go above and beyond to make sure things are fixed, techs are great and they make sure they use paper mats on floor of car.

First time I took car in, they were busy; suggested I return another day because they were backlogged due to an employees absence. I returned a week later when they just opened. They inspected car right away; said screws from splash shield fell out, hence it was dragging. The ordered screw parts. They called a week later to inform parts in; took car at opening; they serviced car right away. I used Angie's List 10% coupon.

It went well. You have to pay to have your car inspected before it is registered. They were one of the cheaper ones.

Great. Quickly diagnosed the problem, provided an accurate estimate for the repairs, and a time/day when the repairs could be done. I normally like using a Ford dealer for all of my maintenance and repairs, but this would have been cost prohibitive.

Despite the fact that the guys were busy with real automotive problems and repairs, the owner was willing to perform the inspection,not taking time away from other customers' jobs. I know I could have taken my vehicle many other places to have this done, I appreciated having someone that I know looking at it, and the convenience of the location. We have had other major repairs performed on our vehicle here, and have always been satisfied.

Had a problem with my catalytic converter and the O2 sensor. Went to Cornerstone and although I could have paid $2000 for a new one, the mechanic said I was still under a government warranty and directed me to the dealer. Their honesty was much appreciated and I have $2000 in my pocket because of it.

They are always polite, courteous and professional. I wonder is there is any service they can't perform. The cost is always less than I expect and they have even fixed minor things free of charge. They are a great need in the North side community and 10x better than the dealership.

Fantastic. I am confident in the abilities and ethics of the staff at Cornerstone Automotive. McCann and Michael are responsive and frank and run a great business. I have a vehicle that needed top to bottom maintenance and there is no other automotive business I trust to ensure professional, fairly priced work. I also have routine maintenance for my Prius and Sequoia performed there and have never been less than completely satisfied.

Cornerstone was prompt and corrected my AC problem.

I called Nissan dealers and was quoted over $600. When I called Cornerstone Automotive (referred by a friend and checked Angie's list), he told me that normally a car with that mileage does not require replacement of all the items listed in the handbook, but he would be glad to check it over and tell me if anything needs replacing. He changed the oil, oil filter, inside air conditioning filter, wiper blades, checked all fluid, tires, greased the wheels, for a total of $200. He said none of the belts needed replacing, nor other fluids needed replacing. I felt he gave me an honest assessment and did not do unnecessary work. The car is in good running condition and I have had no problems.

I have an older model Lexus, and it was showing all sorts of error lights on the display. I didn't want to go to Lexus because they are very expensive. I was told about this company from a friend. When I went in, they found out that a sensor was stuck to the manifold. They also found a lot in the inspection. They took the part out and showed it to me. I asked them if my car needed a tune up, and they told me that my car was good. They are informative in explaining what needs to be done and being honest about what doesn't. They almost walked me through the whole repair and stayed in communication over the phone. They also won't do anything until you tell them to. All of the extras, like rotating my wheels, were included in the charge. They also gave me options of doing things for less money.

I have been taking my cars to this shop since 2004, and every time it has been an excellent experience. They fixed a defective part on my Tahoe, and helped me fill out the paperwork for a refund. Think about that: They had already been paid by me, but they went the extra step to help me get my money back from the manufacturer. THAT is good service. Two different times, they have found minor things which needed to be done, did them, and then did not charge me for the work. Example: they discovered a loose connection in the wiring for my tail light, which I thought was a blown bulb. They replaced the connection for no charge, while they were working on my speedometer. I never mentioned the tail light, but they noticed, looked into it, and fixed it for free. Awesome shop! I highly recommend them to all my friends.

We found Cornerstone just by luck shortly after moving to San Antonio in 2007--our car broke down right next to it! After years of dealing with dishonest car repair places, we've found Cornerstone to be trustworthy and take great care of our vehicles. Not only did Cornerstone fix our broken Ford Escort that day, we've taken our cars there for all our needs since. They always take their time to explain what's going on with the vehicle and give their recommendations. On a couple of occasions they've even told us that nothing needs to be fixed and sent us on our way without paying a dime. Our old 1996 Ford Escort broke down at least once a year from 2000-2007 and the repairs were always costly. After Cornerstone fixed it that first time in 2007 it never needed a major repair again. We kept saying we'd get a new car when that Escort died, but then it didn't break down. We finally just sold it still running fine.

They were very good. We liked them. They did what they said. They were quick to get back with you and were quick to do the work. We have used them on several occasions and they are always good.

Friday, my truck blew it's water pump and my belt ended up shredded in the process. I ended up towing it to their shop. They were very accommodating. By the end of the day, my truck was completely repaired at a really good cost. These guys are really nice too.

They were quick and honest. They fixed everything and got me all new tires for a lot cheaper than I would?ve gotten at a discount store. They were very professional and knew what they were talking about. Others would?ve charged a lot more just to do an analysis on the car. Cornerstone wasn?t going to charge me any more than what I needed to pay. I was really happy with their service. I took the vehicle to a discount tire store to get an estimate for four new tires, and it was still more than what I had to pay Cornerstone Automotive. They were just fantastic.

They are very good and thorough. They will explain everything to you in detail.

The holidays are busy and no one wants to have a car problem. I live near a construction site and picked up a nail in my tire on New Year's Eve. They were gracious enough to make me the last customer of the day. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes! We are a family with only one car, so it was great to know Cornerstone Automotive wouldn't let me leave until the tire was fixed-holiday or not. I'll be going back there again!

We phoned ahead to find out if they took appointments. They did not but suggested we bring the car in and leave it. We had friendly service with the person at the counter. The job was performed to our satisfaction and the price was right.

Not satisfied, the mechanic lied and we seemed to have no recourse. The assumption that we would lie and the mechanic would not.

Very friendly and knowledgeable mechanics. Had the car ready the next day.
