 + -1 moreMark Hess tuned my Young Chang Piano. He is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He tuned my piano twice before so I did not hesitate to call him again. I give Mr. Hess a very high rating and will continue to have him tune my piano on a regular basis.

piano tuning
 + -1 moreHe arrived on time, and began tuning my Young Chang piano. Mr. Hess disassembled the piano, and took the piano action with him. He arrived back in 2 days as scheduled, and after inserting the piano action back in place, performed regulation so that the pianist can play with dynamics. He then fine tuned the piano. Mr. Hess is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I will have him tune the piano again in 3 months, and thereafter on a regular basis.
Description of Work: I give Mr. Hess of Concert Piano & Organ Service a very high rating, and will have him tune my piano on a regular basis.

 + -1 moreMr. Hess arrived right on time, and completed the tuning job in a reasonable length of time, much as we have experienced in other venues. The basic price, $100, was a little less than I last paid in New Orleans, so it seems fair. In addition to the agreed upon tuning job, Mr. Hess showed me how the hammers were a little low and how that condition made it impossible to play very softly. He showed me some other details about the functioning of the action and recommended a thorough re-regulation, which he offered to do. I may well have him do that in the near future. I took some pictures just for fun. One accompanies this report. My overall impression is that he is very knowledgeable and proficient in piano technology.

 + -1 moreEasy to schedule, always on time, does a very professional job at a reasonable cost.
Description of Work: Mark Hess has tuned my Petrof grand piano for four years now. He is very professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and plays the piano himself. His cost is reasonable - about $100.00 if nothing extra is done. I think he keeps my Petrof soundng great! I can highly recommend him. He makes lots of good suggestions for taking care of pianos.
