Computer NERDZ!

Took my imac here for repair. In triaging the computer, they said motherboard was bad. They ordered a motherboard. Problem still existed. They said they weren't sure that the company who shipped the motherboard was going to take it back, and they didn't want to do anything else. I picked it up, paid a fee, and took the computer to Apple where I learned that the computer not been reassembled correctly. The hard drive wasn't even in it, a clip was missing, components were broken, the power source hadn't been hooked up. Wires were sticking out of ports, and the USB ports did not line up with their holes. I called and talked to Phil about these problems. He said he talked to the San Antonio manager who agreed to refund the money. The refund never came. When i asked about it, I was told that they decided not to refund the money...without even telling me. Apple was able to successfully repair my computer, and I incurred extra costs due to damage that they did while they had my computer. Randy was the technician who stopped returning phone calls once he was unable to help me. I do not think I should pay anything considering they actually did damage to my computer.

I've not dealt with 4 employees here and found them all to be professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I particularly like the extended hours. Maybe I just got lucky but for a shop that always seems to have a bunch of computers being worked on, I felt the services performed for me were relatively fast. Everything costs too much these days but on both occasions, the fees charged seemed reasonable and I felt I got my money's worth.

Excellent!! They were outstanding. Arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and got everyone up and running quickly.

They did a fine job. They were also very helpful. My wife was very specific about where to mount the television. They took the time for a quality installation.

The service tech arrived in about 2 hours of my call. I explained my problem to him. He did some troubleshooting and found a bad power cord adapter on the router. He had a replacement cord with him, he repoaced the cord and everything worked fine.

I stopped by the store (mid-morning) with my computer and described my problem. After a very brief look and discussion. Alex felt very confident that he could have the computer fixed, cleaned up and running again with about an hour of labo er. I left it with hime and came back at the end of the day. I tested the computer at the shop and everything appeared to be back to normal, if not better. The battle damage report was that there were several viruses, trojans and other elements of a nasty infection. The estimated was the actual cost, I was very pleased with the professionalism and the work product. I would not hesitate in using them again.

They diagnosed what was wrong with the computer and took out the defective part. Then I went and bought a replacement part and installed it on their recommendation. They didn't even charge me for removing the part and making the diagnosis. They just sent me on my way and I was able to fix it my self, so I appreciated that. They were very friendly and accommodating. It was not crowed and there was no wait. It was very pleasant.
