We have used this company for many years in two different houses. We have always been very satisfied. Last spring, they detected an incipient water heater leak, which enabled us to replace it before it caused any damage.

It was free of charge because we bought the whole system from them. It was a part of the deal. I am assuming the price is reasonable.

Fantastic job! We couldn't be more pleased. I am a 77 -year-old homeowner who has moved at least 10 times over the last 30 years. I have had experiences with a number of air conditioning folks during that time, some good, some not so good. I obtained for bids for this job. And did research on all four companies. I was particularly impressed with their salesperson David Kollman. He was honest, answered all questions, broke down the costs involved, and provided me with complete written estimates. He is an impressive young man, easy to work with. I chose Comfort air even though their bid was the highest. Considering the quality of the job, the price was very fair. The Comfort-Air team did a terrific job dismantling the existing AC unit in the attic and installing the new unit. There was limited space in the attic but the installation of the new unit went exceedingly well, beyond our expectations. The team finished the job in one day. They encountered several unforeseen difficulties during the installation and handled them with professional aplomb. They created no damage or mess. This was a pleasant surprise because we fully expected that requiring the team to negotiate a flight of stairs to get to the upstairs level, and then to move the new unit, parts and tools through a pulldown ladder, we fully expected to have some sort of accident or damage. None occurred. They replaced all the tubing, power boxes, circuit breakers, etc when the compressor was installed outside. Overall a really great job. The team, Phillipe, David, and the rest were all courteous, neat, professional, polite, and efficient. Everyone whom we've dealt with at has been terrific. From the sales person to the highly skilled installers and to the management (Patrick Freund) who were extremely patient and understanding. I highly recommend Comfort-Air Engineering to anyone who needs air-conditioning service. This is an outstanding company, well managed and very professional. I'd say Comfort-ir is the best A/C company in the San Antonio area.

Well done, very professional. A little expensive and they added a charge for a service call outside of loop 1604. That seemed unnecessary as the homeoffice is close to Thousand Oaks and 281.

Primo responded promptly to my call. The serviceman arrived exactly on time, was friendly and professional, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. We asked about the need to have the water heaters drained and he explained in detail why that might cause more problems. I appreciated his honesty because he could have easily sold us that service.

It has been several years. It went fine. They handled things very well. We've been very pleased with the new unit. I haven't had any problems with it. I would use them again in the future.

The price is good and they give good service. We are very happy with the work that they provide. We were impressed with the duct work as they went above and beyond. They ran cameras down the duct work in a two story house. They came out as scheduled and on time. They have called ahead of time for any schedule delays in the past.

It's a great company. I think that they are fair, timely, and professional.

They were good, but they were a little pricey. They were clean, courteous guys who showed up on time. They were great, but compared to some of the other pricing out there I found they were not as competitive. They wanted to go with some upgraded material, which is great. They were very helpful about telling me about rebates from all the utility companies, so they really were great as far as service goes. It is just that I found someone else for $3,000 less. I was really happy with them and they were here exactly when they said they would be.

DON'T call this company if you're serious about replacing your AC system in your house. Here's why. I'd planned two days off from work to get a new AC system installed in my house. I already had one AC company scheduled to come in on Monday morning for a site survey and bid, I wanted at least one more company to bid on the job. This Monday I planned to get bids and then Wednesday I plan to do the rip-out and install. To find another company to bid the job I got on Angieslist and starting looking at the companies on the A list. When I came across Comfort Air Engineering I was quite certain I had heard an advertisement for the company on WOAI. I called up their appointment desk and was immediately placed on hold. This seemed a little odd. When the CS rep came back on the line I had to explain to her what I meant when I said I was calling to get a bid on replacing my AC System. She kind of seemed like she didn't know what AC meant. In a very unfriendly manner she took my name, address, phone number, email address and told me Steve or somebody else would call me within 24-48 hours. I called them on Wednesday morning, it's now Friday evening and they still haven't called, emailed me or anything else. Of course, I called and got one of their competitors to come out on Monday to do the bid so Overly Comfort Air just lost a possible job. Based upon my experience with Comfort Air Engineering I'm giving them a big fat F. How can an AC company be so busy that one of their sales people can't find the time to return your call within 24 hours during the middle of the week? That is totally UNSAT!

Comfort Air has been my contract provider for years. Their timely and thorough inspections correct minor problems before they develop into larger ones and keep our heating and cooling system operating at its peak. When maintenance is required, repairs are performed at reasonable cost. Just after we started with them, they identified a pinhole leak on one of our chiller units. After some research, we determined that it was still under manufacturer warranty and Comfort Air assisted with the manufacture and replaced the unit for labor cost.

They have kept our air conditioners running, even old ones, for a long period of time. Every six months we have it checked, which is extra, but that is what we feel has kept our home system effective. And they do that.

They checked everything out. They fixed some leaks.

They came out promptly on a Sunday and then arranged for a company to come that same day to dry us out.

We have trusted Comfort Air Engineering with our AC and Heating needs for years. Whether it is routine maintenance or the installation of a complete system, they are professional, courteous, and keep the customer first. Comfort Air provided multiple options for our AC system updgrade. We were completely satisfied with the whole process. The work was completed on time. Follow up visits were scheduled to ensure our satisfaction and answer any system questions.

We have used Primo Plumbing for years based on the recommendations of our neighbors. The company is professional, courteous and runs their business with integrity and the customer in mind. Their expert plumbers were able to detect a foundation leak in our home, cap the leak, and performed a reroute to solve the problem. They did their best to be as minimally invasive as possible. Primo follows with quality control to ensure customer satisfaction. It is a great piece of mind to have a plumbing company that you can trust!

The technician arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. I had had two other companies out previously, and both had said that the system was okay, when in fact,it was not and needed refrigerant. After Comfort Air serviced my unit, it was back to working as it should.

Very professional. Price is reasonable, but not the cheapest. Quality work. No problems since the installation. I would use them again.

Comfort Air Engineering Inc were very professional. They were there on time, and they did what they said they were going to do. I even signed a service agreement with them.

Everything went as planned; there were no surprises. The workers were courteous, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. The job took two days as promised. The follow up after the install was also excellent. They provided all the paper work for my energy rebates. One of the greatest features is when I received the estimate for the job I had options and prices to choose from; this helped me make the right decision for my home.

Overall my experience with them is very ggood

$45 trip fee, $45 diagnostic fee; told me that with an appointment at 4:30 pm I was probably going to have to pay overtime.... no options given despite being a loyal customer and spending over $10.000 with this company. The clerk told me that they were open for appt. until 5:00 pm. Hmmmmmm, time to be loyal to another company....I'll be sure to let Angies list customers know the review on the competition. Shame on you Comfort Air Eng.

Great team and friendly employees.

The serviceman clean the drip pan line and performed all services requited for the fall heater check. He mentioned that there was quite a bit of microbial growth in the heater. Suggested they give me a new quote for a new system. He said they would contact me with this quote .They did not contact me with this quote. On December 12, 2012 the fan motor burned out. This required another call to Comfort-Air. I had to replace the fan motor condenser fan blade and dual capacitor. Also they replaced the 60 amp break which burnt out when the motor quit. Everything was completed in a timely matter. I still have not received a quote on a new system as promised by the serviceman. I signed and agreement for a maintenance plan so I will use them again this spring. Hopefully by then they my give a quote.
