We had a full kitchen and downstairs flooring remodel. Smooth process, was informed all the way through. Love my new kitchen!

Our Clear Choice kitchen remodel turned out amazing. They were very responsive and the design was just what we wanted. All the sub contractors were very professional and highly skilled. I will say between Covid and the supply chain issues, it was quite pricey but everything is top notch and we got what we paid for and then some. If you want a quality, flawless renovation, I highly recommend this company.

It was a pleasure to work with the Clear Choice Remodeling Team on the demolition and redesign of our kitchen. Jana (owner) and Mary (operations manager) made us feel comfortable and valued. Jana meticulously reviewed our budget and design ideas. She created a beautiful design that met our family’s needs. On several occasions Jana went shopping with us to ensure we remained within our budget and yet were able to purchase beautiful and high quality materials. All contractors were professional, on time, respectful, methodical and well organized. Jana’s expertise in color coordination, spatial orientation and contract materials resulted in our dream kitchen becoming a reality. Overall, we could not be more pleased with our kitchen remodel. The kitchen was transformed from a dark and tight little kitchen to a much more open and functional space. The professionals we worked with all throughout this project did excellent work and were very communicative with us each step along the way. The quality of the work is outstanding: the cabinets are beautiful, the floor refinish was great, we love the tankless water heater, and the tile work was perfect. The project was completed in a timely manner and the entire crew seemed very respectful of our space. The only criticism I have about the experience was during one of the early steps of the design process. We had an appointment to speak to the designer in her office, and after we showed up for the appointment, it seemed apparent that they were not expecting us. We eventually talked to the designer about some of the ideas that we had for the remodel, but the designer did not appear to be prepared to share with us ideas that they had about the space, and the meeting felt rushed. I was expecting that that meeting would have been much more involved as we were choosing the materials to be used (flooring, tiles, paint colors, cabinets, etc). All in all, I would probably use this company again if I had a large project to work on as the quality of work is excellent. I did try to contact them about another project that I wanted to contract for, but never received a response.

Clear choice did not bother to tell me that they do not service the Bandera Tx. area until the day before scheduled appointment. Very unprofessional would not recommend.

We have contracted with Clear Choice for several different jobs. We received prompt service and excellent communication. Jana Ward and her expert crew covered all the bases and provided knowledgeable information and options. Work was well coordinated and completed in a timely manner. During the process of remodeling careful prep work was done to protect other areas of the house, and upon completion, the cleanup was great. The finished project has always been exceptional. I attempted to contact Clear Choice by phone and via Angie's List on three occasions but never received a reply.

We elected to work with this company based on the level of detail Mary Sanchez put into our plan and proposal as well as earlier good ratings on Angie's list. Jana Ward helped us with finish selections, especially finding some granite that was just right. Ann and Allison helped with project administration and billing. Like any project, we ran into some obstacles...but in each case we felt Mary took care to get things right. Although we could have done this project for less, we felt the overall value from this team and their related contractors was worthwhile.

The results of our remodeling were amazing and exceeded our expectations. There were no unexpected charges and the work was completed as scheduled.. The subcontractors doing the work were excellent and, believe it or not, were there when scheduled. Clear Choice provides construction superintendents and they ensure that the work is done properly and in a timely manner. We will use them again for future remodeling projects.

They were very competent and I was impressed with the company. They gave me some great ideas on remodeling my bathroom. I had one challenge with the company and that was on what I wanted to have done. I was selling my home and just wanted to update the bathroom to enhance the home, but ended up with a high end remodel of the bathroom.

After reviewing several contractors on Angie?s List, we got estimates from our top 3 choices. We selected Clear Choice because of their reviews and the quality of their designs ? Jana Ward has a fabulous designer?s eye and made some outstanding suggestions for maximizing our storage and really opening up the space ? we absolutely love our new kitchen! Jana effectively managed our expectations about realistic project timelines and Mary Sanchez did a phenomenal job as our construction manager ? she always kept us informed about any delays or issues ? she was amazing! It was obvious that all the subcontractors have a great deal of respect for her; the fact that they routinely use the same subs (and have for many years) was another plus for us. We were so pleased with their work that we plan on using them to remodel our master bathroom (and whatever else we need in the way of remodeling). We were warned that this was a lengthy, disruptive process, but Jana, Mary and the staff at Clear Choice made it an almost pleasant experience! We highly recommend Clear Choice for the quality of their work.

All went very well. the design was perfect. I love my kitchen and now enjoy every minute of cooking in it. All who worked on the kitchen were very professional and excellent at their jobs. They knew what they were doing. After all was completed, they sent someone to clean! How often does one experience that! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. I was never disappointed.

They were professional. They paid attention to the details. They gave a good warranty. The work was quite lengthy and took about 4 months to complete.

Very good. I am so pleased with the work that was done and the professionalism of the team. My bathtub was 27 inches deep and they filled in the bathtub to become a shower and included all aspects to make this area accessible for handicap. The team was thorough about what work they were going to do and when they would do that work. They followed their timeline well, so I knew what would be done when. Overall, I am so pleased with the work that they did. They are very conscientious of having the consumer be satisfied with their work, which I found important.

If you have all the time in the world to wait on Jana, the owner of this company, then by all means, contact them. But personally, if you have a large renovation to do, I would suggest you move on and find someone else. This company is for smaller jobs, like single rooms. Hear me out: Based on the reputation Clear Choice has here on AL, I have contacted them on two occasions to get an estimate for a large renovation job at a home I have purchased in Boerne. The first time we contacted the company in Oct 2013. Jana came out to the house and within several weeks gave us a written estimate for work that totaled just under 200k, a number that was just 3k under our total budget. The only problem with the bid was that it was preliminary; it wasn't based on a floor plan or blueprint, and it was Jana that pointed this out. She was the one that told us none of our bids were comparable without blueprints. So we stopped the process right there in order to get the blueprints we needed to get bids based on the same job. We would rate this encounter with Clear Choice an "A" all the way around. Fast Forward to May 2014 because that's how long the blueprint process took. Blueprints in hand, we contact Clear Choice. Jana asks me to bring the blueprints to her office, which I do, right away. It takes weeks, but she finally calls me and tells me it is going to take her MONTHS to get me a bid because it is her "busy time". Mind you, at the same time I see Clear Choice advertising a Groupon! I tell Jana to just modify the last bid she gave me based on the new blueprints, the job is staying the same, and that the industry standard for getting out a detailed bid is 2-3 weeks, not 2-3 months. Weeks go by and several phone calls that take her many days to a couple of weeks to return indicate she has had subs out to my house and that she is just waiting for their numbers. More weeks turn into months. More calls into Clear Choice...mostly I get to go through Susan, who contacts Jana...who doesn't contact me back for long periods of time. Finally, come July 14, 2014 I get a voicemail message telling me she is too busy, she can't get any of her subs out to the house, she's no longer going out that far, and good luck to me finding someone to do my work. BTW her office is west and my house is in Boerne (that far?). So, in the end, we never get a bid, she completely wastes 3 months of our time, and we feel she has been misleading. First Jana says subs have been out to the house, then she says she can't get them out to the house, so which is it? Very disappointed in Clear Choice. This is our experience; you decide if Clear Choice is the company you want doing your next major renovation.
