I called the company after I purchased the service to schedule my appointment. Once the operated looked up my address she told me that there would be an extra $30 charge because I live 2 miles outside of loop 1604. That’s crazy so I just cancelled and got a refund.

Everything went better than expected. Repairman found another visible leak that required immediate attention. Water had been leaking for sometime and had gone unnoticed because it was in the rear of the house. The leak was repaired and all is well.

I was contacted 2 days later with an email stating I needed to pay additional monies. The add was a retainer for the services and an additional balance would remain. They were however demanding an additional "travel charge" of $30. I live right off a major freeway. This information should have been on the add. Charging additional fees without notice is shady.

Highly professional plumbing technicians. They were delayed to due to a previous call. The office called me to inform of this delay and were very apologetic. Because of this delay, they did not charge me for the new faucet or labor. WOW!! Talk about outstanding customer service. I would not hesitate to hire them again. City Base Plumbing arrived earlier than set appointment. They gave me a courtesy call and asked if I would be home for an earlier appt. time and I said yes. When the worker arrived, I was happy to see a familiar face, Hector. He worked on some plumbing for me earlier this year. He's friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very experienced. He identified where the leak was coming from and repaired it. He checked for any leaks afterwards. No leaks. He made me a very happy customer. Thank you.

Great! Angel was the most knowledgeable plumber I've ever talked to. He is very honest and stands by his work. He won't try to sell you something you don't need.

We paid almost $600 for emergency auger of our home sewage line a month ago when the toilets backed up, found out roots in the line. That company, Plumbing 3000, charged a lot for midnight repair and offered no diagnostic info or offer to fix. Research showed spot repair or replace could run from $1k to repair to over $10 for replace. One company here on AL quoted 250 for camera diagnostic. Too much. City-base charged around 125 for camera diagnostic and let me take pics of their color LCD screen showing the exact issue and location. They then allowed the 125 to apply to the fix action if we used them, which we did. They quoted about 800 or so for basic repair, around 1000 for mid-level repair using steel fittings, and almost 1400 for that plus a 6-inch pvc sleeve around the 4-inch main pvc. Aggressive roots had punched a hold bigger than a half-dollar size, so we did the high-end repair at $1382, discounted from $1500 for being retired military. No mention of AL discount was given, just military. They sent me pictures of the repaired pipe before they buried it. The dirt hump left in my front yard is fairly large and they left a bunch of rocks, small and large, in the pile, which I had to remove myself. They gave a 7-year warranty on the work. Overall pleased with price and quality of repair.

The worker was very polite, friendly and professional. I first explain what I had been experiencing for quite a number of years. I had work done on the same area but was never truly repaired. I have kept a bucket under the sink for years. The worker never interrupted me, listened carefully then immediately identified the problem. He extended himself by offering to replace the old baskets strainings on both sides of the sink. He also offered to cleaned the pipe under the sink that was horrible. I was thrilled after the work was completed. He made sure no leaks would be found and if so he mentioned their six months warranty. I didn't see one drop of water no where under my sink. The baskets strainings made my sink look brand new. He made me a very happy and satisfied customer. I have other work that needs attention to in the near future. I plan to hire "The City Base Plumbing" company for all my other repairs needed at my home. The cost of repair was $289.00 without my discount. After my discount was added, I was very pleased with the cost. Considering the trouble I have been experiencing for so many years it was well worth the price. Thank you to the worker who did a great job that without his skills, knowledge, expertise and experience I could have easily hired someone else, but I didn't. Thank you City Base Plumbing.

The tech rodded the drain and havent had a problem since...

I trust them to do any plumbing job I have because they are not only knowledgeable and reasonably priced but they are trustworthy and stand behind their work.

It was fine, no problems. It was good. All I paid was the $39.00 big deal price. Very professional, showed up at designated time, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, very professional. The two guys came in and told me what they were going to do, that they only needed the small drain cleaner, no problem since.

Sarah responded to my AL message via text and set up the appointment and confirmed the arrival time promptly and efficiently. Hector and Jordan were on site a half hour early and had already begun investigating the issue before I arrived. Once I fully explained the issue and showed them where the various pieces were, Hector presented me with three different options to resolve it, and after I confirmed which one I wanted, they went right to work. They replaced the 12-year-old pressure valve with a newer model, dug out the area around it a bit more to prevent erosion from compromising the installation, and updated the backyard hose bib with a newer, more efficient model than the one I had. Jordan took the time to explain to me how the replacement pieces worked and where the cutoff valves were, Hector showed me how to adjust the pressure and test it, and both were in and out--and the work sites cleaned up completely--in 90 minutes. I don't use the word "flawless" very often, but the work and the professionalism these two exhibited were nothing but. I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely be calling them again should I need any further plumbing work performed.
