Decide what you want from the pool in terms of size and acessories. Jim has many years of experience building pools and will assist you with these decisions if your not sure. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted & Jim was able to translate that EXACTLY as I envisioned and we couldn't be happier.

Day one i met with Jim to estimate the cost of repairs which i agreed was very reasonable for the existent of repairs. He then scheduled the work within the next two weeks. His team arrived when scheduled and removed the old waterfall. The next day they started placing stones for the new one. This took longer then i thought it would but it was because i am very picky and they were very patient. While this was being done other members of the team were replacing grout, loose coping, and replacing broken tile. Once the waterfall was completed they completely sealed the waterfall and coping. The following day they returned to clean and remove any debris. Looks great.

The work was overseen by the contractor of the company Aquatic Pools Plus, Mr. Jim Long and his brother and co-contractor, Mr. Steve Long. The work was conducted by several professionals (tiler and plasterer), but also by people that were hired "off the street" that did not even have cars; this was told to me by the contractor. The plaster man did an OK job, although there are cracks appearing in the plaster (see pictures) and the plaster is somewhat uneven. In addition, he plastered one of my skimmers shut. He has promised 4 times now to come and look at the pool over the period of two years and has not come. Because I cannot clean out the skimmers have had to shut off my pump and my pool is now a green cesspool. The tile installer did a good job and refused to retile the top portion of the decking at the diving board end (for legitimate reasons) and told the plasterer that tiling was not the right method to redo the decking. The contractor had one of his unprofessional people fill in the trough and place tile on top without any separators. Therefore the horizontal tile on the decking is cracking (see pictures), allowing water to leak down behind the vertical tile at the diving board end of the pool and these tile are cracking off (see pictures). This began to occur approximately 3 months after the work was completed. I have tried to contact the contractor and he has refused to answer my phone calls. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they have tried to get the contractor to mediate and fix the pool and he has refused; so the BBB has closed the case and cannot help me further. Now my only recourse is to file a lawsuit which I am preparing for at present. ***UPDATE 10/30/2012: I did take them to court and did win the entire amount, but haven?t received any money from them yet, which I will be pursuing.
